This is prog fantasy with a lil bit mix of kingdom building. The part of developing his territory is not super detailed but is enough to give you the whole picture. How he gain strength to increase his circle also not super complicated, it's just him taking more mana to increase his mana heart level. Thsi story is more focus abt him defeating his enemy? If that make sense. More about plotting to win, about politics, and about the threat looming over him as he went back to make things right. All in all, i actually like this story. Mainly bcs MC is actually a decent person who cares abt other people. You don't get that often in this type of sub genre. He thinks and act like an adult (thank god finally), he cares abt his subordinates and people. Have qualms abt killing people but at the same time he doesn't let others trample him either. Looking forward for more chapters!
It's lacking in many aspect, cringey at some points yet strangely the plot got me hooked line and sinker. The start of the story is rough i admit. I even want to quit in the first 20 chapters or so but i kept going either way since one chapter is not very long. And wow thank god i kept going, it really paid off by the end of book 1. There's layers of mysteries waiting to be unearth. Overarching plot that encompass possibly the entire story. I guess the author really planned out how this story will go on (i don't see that often in web series). Usually the plot is just jumbo mumbo, whatever that can keep the plot go longer. But this one, there's potential. By chapter 195, i can give this a 4 star, not 5 simply bcs the writing is rough and messy at times but the plot makes up for it. Let's hope this one doesn't turn into utter dogshit
Cliché and mediocre at best. This is like a slice of life and rip off version of The Novel's Extra. Tbh i'm not a fan with TNE plot but oh boy even TNE trashy plot is still miles better than this one. I don't know what to expect from MC. He tries to change many character path for the 'better" but the way he does it is so, idk, cringe? I feel like he have something called "i'm the protagonist syndrome". I genuinely wished for the OG Adrian become the MC, bcs he is miles better than MC. Alex is just meh. He feels exactly like a teenager just hit his puberty.
And well, the pacing is terrible. 200+ chapters wasted doing side quests and building rapports with side characters that i don't care about. I'm dropping this right after the new semester begins. I think that's enough to see whether this story is good or nah. I give it chance and it just doesn't hit the rigjt spot.
Well if you like low suspense, boring plot, slice of life, lots of unnecessary details, and academy life, this might be for you.
Idk if this plagiarism or a mere western adaptation of "The Game Became Reality, I Built the Immortal Clan of the Ages". Because the plot is basically the same. Only the characters name are different. Maybe the author explained that this story is originally a chinese novel and they only translating it to english. But man if they claimed this is an original story then it's straight up plagiarism. Anyway, the story feels quite smoothly compared to the other translation by the title "Family Management Game In Immortal Continent". That one kept the original chinese name, but the quality of the translation is not the best.
Oh god this is so sad.. The story is not that'amazing' but it is still enjoyable to read. Well at least up until chapter 360+, bcs after that point the translation goes down hill and sink to the deepest trench of the sea. Just whyyyy😭
The plot is so damn slow... And tbh there's nothing really interesting going on. But i do enjoy the slice of life content in this but maybe tone it down a lil bit? And more focus into clearing the system mission. If the pace is a lil bit faster, i wouldn't actually mind to read it more. Ngl, after reading 300 chapters i feel tired and bored as the story keep repeating the same pattern over and over again. No enganging conflict, no interesting sub plot, and mc character is actually so damn lazy.

I feel giving this gem 5 star would be too much bcs it was not by any means perfect. But I would def give it a 4.5 bcs the story and world building is just that good. Couple that with some kingdom building and leveling up in the sideline. That's just some pure msg delicacy that gives me dopamine while reading it. If you"re looking a non human MC, this is perfect. Don"t go reading this hoping some spectacular development on all the characters bcs frankly this story wasn't particularly focused on it. The character is there to move the story forward. Not the other way around
Despite the rich explanations about magic, runes, so on and so on, the plot is going nowhere... I mean, maybe the title should respectfully change to "The Reincarnated Swordsman in Mage Academy" or something along those lines. I'm already in chapter 104 and not even 3 months has passed in the story. I mean..... Ok so how long are we going to stretch this "building power" in school arc? Bcs for one, the MC are not exactly that charming enough to keep me going, and the side chara lacks personality and back story. If the pace could pick up a lil faster maybe this would be great or maybe if this story has a fun cast of characters it would be a fun comedy at academy kind of story. So yeah, good world building but can we fasten the academy arc a lil bit?
I think this is a good read. Although the plot can be a lil bit messy in order but it's still fun to read. You got a crazy and funny MC, some quirky subordinates, and the big mystery waiting to be solved. I'm waiting for more details abt the world and the people. And abt the demons too. Hopefully this wont turn to those novel with final arc where MC must face off a god.
It was okay. There's nothing wrong with the story. And there's nothing stand out about it either. This story feels average in all aspect. I don't hate it, and i don't like it. This novel feels like drinking a lukewarm water. It's decent enough if you're new into this type of "isekai'ed to a game" novels, but for me this is nothing special
