I gave this rating after reading the last chapter only, so read at your own risk. Idk maybe it could your type and you might enjoy it but seriously, I always read the last chapter first to see if the novel is actually completed or not and the ending is happy or not. And I have been never more glad that I have this habit after reading this. 😑

Overall, I have to say this is one of those novels that comes once in a while, really deep, makes me feel all the emotions that exist and thoroughly shakes me up but in a good way and the feel good feeling, the 'i also want a love story like that' feeling...😭💙

I felt like I lost a brain cells everytime I analysed the mysterious, don't know if it was the translation or the writing.

It just gets even more jumbled up and looses whatever direction it had in the beginning.

I would have given lower if possible but isn't, headache inducing novel with too much drama and unnecessary plots. I kept reading just to know how it ends and at one point, I was like, why am I even reading this?

Can I give this a lower rating thank 0.5? Like seriously? Warning: whoever is thinking of reading this, read at your own risk. This is not a Chinese novel but a Wattpad story with only characters having Chinese names. Terrible gramar, writing and plot. Like I am grateful I only read the last chapter to check.

Firstly, I don't think this is an og Chinese novel but a webnovel, with characters with Chinese name and origin, but the writer isn't Chinese. Otherwise this feels nothing like a Chinese novel to me, the writing style, the feels, everything. A proper way to describe this is, Wattpad meets Chinese Web novel.

Secondly, the novel is waaaaaaaay too dramatic and with many plotholes and there are so many grammatical errors and typos which makes it obvious how low quality effort this novel is.

There were things I liked about this novel but there are too many problematic things.

-the novel focus way too much on the fantasy rpg dungeon genre and not on the romance. Romance was just shown a little bit in the background andbwe are done. There was no development of feelings and how the characters fell for each other?

-she is a vice captain, ppl talk shot about her and don't even get punished.(Mind you, there's the duke who favours her for unknown reasons and he's the captain who gave her that position)

-There's a really bad reputation for support mages in the novel but as I see they have the best powers.

-Idk why the og hero is so trashy. Like how he could be a hero?

-and then it gets even more messy towards the ending.

Where to start? All I can say is I was really into this story and like it but after the first arc, the story literally moves into another dimension! You don't even know what you are reading anymore. Let's not talk about the ml and fl are related, not by blood but they are still related. It becomes wayyyyy too complex and inhuman, and let's leave all OP characters aside. Note to self: this is the kind of story you hate, too many inhumane OP characters, making evil people gain sympathy and justifying their crimes, a kind of incest, age gap and what not.
