How more green can they get? I have a hard time believing they can be promoted to their current rank just based on Cultivation. They're SO inexperienced that it isnt even funny. They're waiting to die.
Its starts off with an intriguing murder mystery. The culprit killed Li Hao's best friend, and now is after his life and an ancient family heirloom he holds.
Although afraid, he's determined to grow stronger to get revenge. And more importantly, to live.
Story is very solid. Im highly reccomend you give this a try for at least 10 chapters. Its a super fun read.
I'm kind of baffled that they're all so surprised. I mean ya'll are ruthless yourselves. Its not that uncommon to hide a knife behind a smile.
Its a pretty basic tactic. Especially when you're a weak and vulnerable. It was literally a natural progression that he ended up this way.
He knew there was someone after him, and he didn't know their strength either. When he, a normal person, saw his best friend burn to death by a supernatural being, and guessed that he was the next target, of course he's gonna hide any trump cards. No matter how weak they may be, because that would be the deciding factor between life or death.
A cultivator with a strong backer died in mysterious circumstances. And you go ahead and sell his belongings at the closest major town? Are you asking to die? Your team is the FIRST place that that core formation cultivator will be suspicious of. That mask does NOTHING for you. You're just delaying the inevitable. At least if it was sold in major city, it wouldnot have been traced back to you.
Tch say it right.
"Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."
Genius 💀 I wonder how depressed he'll get after Li Hao finally stops hiding.
Its his fault in the first place for underestimating Yuan Shuo's disciple.

Hmm? I thought the "Law Enforcement Department" was a cover identity for Night Watchers?
Was it a separate entity?
Strong contender for top 10.

This reminds me of Avatar:
When Katara becomes a Master Waterbender and bends the rain when she went to get revenge.
Greetings Fellow Daoist! It's been ages since I've met another cultivator in these barren lands!

I thought that was a typo, but is that an alias?
