The Overall Story is good considering the number of chapters. However, as usual with a novel of this size the story becomes quite generic and bland. The main character is generic with a generic plot of getting betrayed and then suffocating his former guild with his success.

There are many plot holes such as how does he get so much "first to get/arrive" achievements despite there being 8+ billion people. I understand he is a regressor however the amount of items and skills he gets randomly is overwhelming yea, ik we can suck it up to just him being the mc and the author so I try to not think about it too much. Yet with the reincarnation and traveling to the greater god's domain and the eternal realm etc. The plot gets messed up and is quite difficult to understand in multiple ways.

This is a nice novel that is quite well written, the story flows decently well and is quite entertaining, though it is mostly just about Su Yang getting wives, f**king and impr*gnating them. I will say however it takes a while for him to return to his original world like 800+ chapters long (I forgot the actual amount due to not reading it recently). But the biggest problem with this novel is the extremely inconsistent update schedule (there was a time it took 3 months+ for 1 chapter) and with the author creating a prequel to this (Path to dual cultivation) it is just going to increase... (hence why im stacking chapters)

A well written and fleshed out novel. It contains elements of suspense, mystery, romance and great character and world building. However, a problem for some people could be the number of chapters that the author puts into the world building e.g. the prologue does take 500 something chapters until he actually escapes the Forgotten Shore. Another problem may be that the characters can be quite annoying to some people (for example the MC is forced to speak the truth. But honestly it is quite interesting to see how he combats this issue with different strategies). Overall, this is a great novel that has an in-depth world with well-crafted characters and if you're willing to stick around then it is a story you will definitely enjoy.

I will admit it is quite early for a review for such a novel. However as this is a prequel to an existing and well-established novel as well as being written by an experienced writer, I believe that it we should be able to expect quite a bit from this light novel. If you have read Dual Cultivation (the original novel) then you could also anticipate when certain parts of the story will occur such as him becoming a student to the alchemist god (Yu Xiang). However once again, the thing that is holding me back from giving this a 5 star review is the amount of time between updates or just the extremely inconsistent update schedule. I may change this rating later if this novel improves or gets worse. Only time will tell.

This novel is quite interesting and quite the nice read with it having some of the niches but still being enjoyable. However I've read on mtls and eventually the story flops. earlier on around chapter 45ish he loses one of his eyes and later on loses an arm as well. Around chapter 120 the girls hypnotizes him in order to stay the commander of the royal guards. So while it had potential it fell off after a while.

However if you don't mind these issues it's quite the nice read.

This is a good, simplistic(kinda) and humorous novel that is a nice read if you have the time. The author improves as he is writing it, however so there may be some problems with the story early on. The pacing improves as the characters gain more depth. This is definitely a recommended reading that I honestly found because I just was too impatient to wait 1 week for the next chapter of the manhwa to come out :P.

To put it simply it's a good book. With good pacing, plot & character depth and development. The first 100 or so chapters are kinda slow but after that the plot picks up. The arcs aren't too long while also improving the worldbuilding. All the characters have development with the protagonist going through various mental stages. However, there will be some criticisms are inconsistencies regarding the plot as well as sometimes disregarding some plot points (is kind of fixed later on however it ruins immersion for some). But I can say that the ending is well done. All in all I would give it an overall rating of 4.8/5

I can say that it's quite the good book. I am giving it a temporary review. Change it as I read more chapters, for now it has good plot and the mc seems decent enough to deal with for another 400 chapters or so.

But I can say one thing tho. The heavens are unfair.

From my current reading and to say it simply. Seems to be worth the read so far. Cliché but it's good. I will change it later if it seems to deteriorate like most novels but I hope this one is different, it has potential.

Update, the plot is decent, the mc is fine, the character development is fine (still a bit early for it) but some plot points may get confusing. Overall it still seems to be worth a read.

Update. The R-18 seems semi-forced with it being quite random. The plot is getting thicker and the mc is going through character development however I will have to lower my rating.
