"Ah!" Ara let out a small cry as Hamon lowered his head and pressed his teeth on her breast while his hand squeezed the other. She reddend even further, as what he was doing all seemed to arouse her desire to have him.

Hamon lifted her in his arms and took her to the bed. However, she couldn’t stop herself from shamelessly trembling in anticipation. Before she knew it, they were both naked, she closed her eyes as Hamon’s mouth moved from her mouth to her neck, to her collarbone, then downwards even further.

She breathed out his name as he grazed his finger down her inner thighs coaxing a shiver out of her, he did the same with his tongue, making her tremble uncontrollably underneath him. Hamon continued to tease her with his lips and tongue, and she arched her back.

And when she thought she’d die from anticipating, he grabbed her hips and adjusted himself between her. Her head fell back with a cry as he entered her.

Hamon made love to her as if it was the last, this time she felt no pain but pure pleasure, it overwhelmed her intensely into a realm of pleasure filled sensations she had never felt before as their bodies moved together in perfect rhythm.

The couple were lost in their own world, completely forgetting about the reality and the burden on their shoulders.

Minutes later, Ara was exhausted to the core, she couldn’t even move a limb and let Hamon hold her, "You are so lovely." He propped himself on an elbow so that he could see her face, she looked pale in the moonlight illuminating from the window and flushed from the afterglow of their lovemaking. "Very lovely," he murmured, and kissed her. "Your skin’s still warm." He began to nibble, as though she were a delicacy he couldn’t resist.

"Hamon..." She murmured, Fresh desire began to tingle within her.

"I’m going to love you again, my wife." He crushed his mouth to hers in a soul-wrenching kiss that left them both breathless. "And again, and again. Each time I do, it’ll be different."

She could feel the powerful flames of unquenchable desire building in him, but it didn’t frighten her, because there was something similar growing in her. Her eyes stayed open meeting the intensity in his dark red ones, his unhidden promise of carnal pleasure stirred up an even hotter flame within her as she rose to meet him.

"I might enjoy waking you up if you are." He slid his hand up to cup her breast. "In fact, I’m sure I would." He nestled his leg cozily between her thighs. "Ara?"

"Hmm?" She hummed in respond, Ara smothered a yawn against his shoulder. "What is it?" She asked, her voice already heavy with sleep.

"Tell me about everything you went through before you joined my army in Greenwood, and after you left before Cornell...killed you." He said, No longer addressing Cornell as ’Uncle’ after what the man had done to his wife. Even though it had happened in another lifetime, Hamon couldn’t help the rage he felt at the thought of it. If only Ara had told him about her revenge in their previous life, he’d have gladly helped her in getting rid of Cornell.

However, he was aware she had no reasons to trust him that much in their past life, because if he hadn’t abandoned Findara, his uncle wouldn’t have had the chance to rebel. Thus, the past was in the past, they had to make sure it never repeated itself again. He now had another reason to take the throne as soon as possible. To protect the most important person in his life, Arabella.

Ara opened her eyes on hearing Hamon’s words. She began to narrate to him the story of her life in the past, from how her peaceful family were destroyed over night and how her brother had helped her escape by sacrificing himself to save her. She told him everything, and it really felt good pouring it out to him.

"You’ve gone through a lot than I did in the past..." He said after hearing everything, with the glistening moonlight his eyes shadowed in pain as if living through all the hurt filled moments with her as she narrated it all to him. "But don’t worry, I am here now to protect you, no harm will fall upon your family again. Let me share the burden with you, my love. We will fight this together this time."

She felt warmth rush into her heart at his words. All those years she’d fought alone, she’d carried the burden of avenging her family alone, but now she had Hamon to support her...It felt good to have someone to rely on. "Thank you, Hamon." Saying that, she yawned and adjusted her head on the curve of his shoulder and closed her eyes.

Seeing that Ara had closed her eyes, Hamon placed a tender kiss on her forehead, "Good night, my love." He pulled the blanket to cover them both and he also closed his eyes.
