Vihur tribe most bitter enemy is Askazan tribe on the western border. The chief of the Vihur tribe has been dealing with Askazan tribe for decades.

That tribe is not just a normal tribe. But only those who fight with the Askazan tribe would know why they are so unnatural

This enemy of theirs has always disallowed his tribe from coming down south and unify the Southern Great Steppe.

The Vihur tribe was not always a tribe that only wanted stability. Just like any powerful tribe, they use to want to unite the tribes of the Southern Great Steppe.

They also wanted to rekindle the glory of the past Empires of the Steppe. They all have that dream

Dreams however is not as cruel as reality.

Askazan tribe never allow them to go down and because of that, there were many times that they lost the opportunity to unite the Southern Great Steppe

Some people think that to unify the world you need a powerful army with strong warriors. But the Vihur chief tribe also noted something that is more important than those factors.

And what is it?

Luck.

Fortune.

Sometimes, luck is even more powerful than hard work and any effort.

This intangible concept is one of the most mysterious concept in the world but it makes beggar a king, a king a beggar, raise the most unlikeliest people to the highest position, bring down kingdoms and empires.

There were even times when the Vihur tribe did manage to god own the south. Yet, at that time, their opportunity was lost and they were beaten back.

When they actually had a chance to break through the defensive line of the south, then Askazan would appears and dash their dreams.

Luck....that is what the Vihur tribe lacks. That one bit of fortune of heaven, hoping the Lady of Fortune smiles on them and give them that bit of luck.

Whoever that lady never smiles on them. Since, then most of the chief leader of Vihur tribe did not want to go down south.

They wanted to conserve their energy and then wait for that one bit of fortune to shine on them

And then they would sweep the world.

However, chief changes and passes, ambition changes and morphs and the current chief did not want to go down south at all

The current Vihur chief tribe did not want to come down because there are certain things he could do and certain things he could not

That is one of the reason

the other reason is because the chief did not want to go down south.

He alone knows the weakness of the tribe.

The arrogance, the pride, that is for the world to see. Only he knows that the problem of the tribe is deeper than that.

The journey to the south would not be easy.

The distance is far, there is many enemies, the enemy would be rested while they would be tired.

A tired army could not achieve much even if they have high morale. He did not have to learn military and strategy books to know that tired warriors could not defeat well rested warriors.

Even a lion could be taken down by a pack of hyenas.

Not to mention, that they are a sick lion

Then there is the problem of resources. Vihur tribe rely on the farmlands.

And the cold of this year is colder than the years before and the farmland did not give much.

The cold of winter this year also feel more colder than the year before. He himself could feel the difference of this winter.

Some Ashana said that this is the dawning of the Dark Winter.

But he had always take what the Ashana said with disdain. He did not trust much on the Ashana prophecies and omens.

As for not competing for the south, the Vihur tribe chief knows his ability.

He could be an overlord on one side of the world, but he did not have the power to unify the world.

He lacks the ambition, lacks the breath of mind, did not have any knowledge how to reform and his army is not the kind of army that could unify the world.

But then suddenly the Askazan chief had to die. From what the rumours said, he die of a cold.

The Askazan tribe is now in chaos. The great warriors fight against each other, the sons and daughter of Askazan chief fight against each other

Because before he dies, he did not have the time to nominate his successor. The Askazan tribe itself did not rely on inheriting the father mantle. That kind of thing was only implemented just a generation ago.

Too many of the people of the tribe, most of them still abide by the convention that the strongest among them should be the leader.

And so, not only the sons and daughters of the Askazan chief tribe that fight for the seat, the tribe strongest warriors also come out and fight for it

Never before in the history of Vihur tribe, that there is such a chance, such a chaos in their neighbour while at the same time, the South is having an upheaval.

The warriors of Vihur tribe all wanted to go down south. Vihur tribe must show their power and compete against the so-called Kan.

If the name Kan is allowed to stick, then that title would become legitimate and would be attached to the Brolgadhr tribe.

The fact that Aeryon has such title and did not vehemently reject it shows his ambitions.

This is a man that wanted to unify the Southern Great Steppe. If he is not an ambitious person and fears the attack of the world, he would not dare accept such title

He probably would reject it in private and public and would even announce it to the chiefs that he had no such intention

But all the while people has been calling him Kan and he did not affirm it or reject it. It is easy to see what he thinks when he acts like this

So, The Vihur tribe come down south.

But what would happen next?

It depends on what the tribes around think about Vihur tribes coming down south.

There is some other tribes that is also making a ruckus. Every tribe is thinking of a way to survive this sudden turbulent age.

The strong wanted to become stronger, expanding and competing with other heroes of the world

The weak tries to protect themselves and tries to cling to the powerful.

Then there are those tribes that knows their own situation the best, strong enough to protect themselves for a while but would not survive the long term.

For tribes like these, they decided to look at the changes of the world and pick the winning side.

They did not have the ability to unify the world but they have the ability to help the unifier to unify the world

Khagai tribe choose this path.

The circumstance of the Khagai tribe disallowed them to actually proactively trying to unify the world.

But with their strength, they could help the open that could unify the world.

This kind of tribe knows themselves and so they know how to protect themselves while gaining the best benefit.

If they won following their lord, they would become kings. If they lose, they could surrender to other forces, if they would allow them

Everyone will find their own way to survive this new era that dawned on the Steppe. All for the survival.

And while the tribes on Southern Great Steppe is in great contention, each one having their own desires, ambitions and worries, in the Northern Great Steppe, a cold wind blows that would change the era!
