Vengeance of The Broken Lycan Prince [BL]
Chapter 240: Taking Back My Love

Chapter 240: Taking Back My Love

[GREALOR]

Zula being pissed was an understatement of the century.

She was fuming with so much rage as she strutted towards the alpha’s office, her body dripping in disgusting excretions from her body. She looked like she belonged in the afterlife and not in the world of the living which was not a far fetch from the way that shit had happened to her.

It had taken her seven hours to get a hold of herself after her brother had left and honestly, Zaffuto Hinata had left a bitter taste on her lips. Her brother had reduced her to something that Zula Hinata refused to accept.

He made her feel worse than their parents had ever made them feel and the Hinata parents had been the devils of the devils.

They had been worse than anything anyone would have imagined and honestly, it had made life a tad difficult for their kids, which was also why Zaffuto had cut ties with their parents to save both himself and his sister.

Funny how they were now on opposing sides, tens of thousands of years later.

It was insane, and yet somehow this was expected of both of them. It didn’t matter how long they stayed away from each other because as long as they were siblings, they would have to figure shit out.

Well, perhaps he was what was left for the siblings because Zula was so mad at her brother that she would never think of him as her brother. Then again, it wasn’t like a pen in the entire realm knew that Zaffuto and Zula had shared a womb.

It was crazy, how things had changed but then wasn’t that what life had become for them?

"Zula? What the fuck happened to you?" Gabe asked when he saw their healer looking worse than all the patients he had never seen her attend to. She looked like she was just a step away from snapping necks and bones.

It was horrifying and disgusting to watch.

This wasn’t what they had thought for her, but what didn’t they ever consider in the battle that had involved Zaffuto? The wolves of Grealor were watching with their noses covered and their hearts in their hands as the healer walked past them into the pack house.

She was stinky and reeked of shit that couldn’t even be understood on any day. Her entire body was covered in her spilled guts which made it even crazier because no one who had lost so much should have been bae to walk.

But then that’s the joy of being a Hinata. Immortality was not just a sure thing, but healing was faster than possible. Well, for Zula, it was a tad slower because it was her brother who had done that to her.

The blood of her blood had come at her and ruined her peace and Zula wasn’t going to rest until she got her vengeance. Perhaps she was stupid for trying to go against the brother who had been known for insanity.

Or maybe she was just the bravest of them all for trying to make amends and see to it that things were right. But was that ever going to prove better for her or was this just a doomed relationship she was signing up for?

Oh, but Zula was screwed, and she knew it. But that didn’t mean she would be going down without a fight. She handed it to me this far just to watch everything go to shit.

"Where is your father, Gabriel," Zula asked, not caring about the young wolf’s questions.

She could sense the shift in Gabe’s energies and a part of her knew it had to do with Zaffuto Hinata.

Oh, but Zula was pissed.

She hated that things were not going right for her and she hated that despite what she had tried to do, she still managed to end up like that.

Her brother was not supposed to always show the upper hand and yet it seemed like Zaffuto Hinata didn’t mind being the devil in every little story that they shared.

"He’s in his study. Were you attacked?" Gabe asked as he rushed behind Zula. He was just as curious as everyone in shock about what had happened to her. She looked so different and weak that they had never seen her like that.

It was a sight for sore eyes and it broke so many hearts that she had managed to end up like that. Perhaps there was going to be a better explanation for this, right?

However, when Zula walked into Ashton’s office, she shut the door against Gabe’s face a little harshly, the one reminder he needed to know that this wasn’t his business.

But then he was a curious man and he was an alpha – the reigning alpha of Grealor, so he had an advantage and he would use it.

With his super hearing, he leaned closer to the door of his father’s study, hoping to the goddess that the door wouldn’t push in and he wouldn’t be thrust into the room like a sack of potatoes.

It was a silent wish for what needed to be done and honestly, this was bound someday anyway.

"Holy hell Zula, what the fuck happened to you?" a shocked Ashton asked as he looked at his healer, she looked like she had taken a bath in the Grealor sewers, and to him, this wasn’t a sight he so wished to be associated with.

However, when he looked at the woman, he could feel her rage and that got his lips sealed at the remarks he was about to add on. It was crazy how shit had gotten and honestly, it was something that got Ashton wondering if they had been fucked over.

Of course, there was that chance, but at the same time, there was no denying that the woman had never given me a reason to be as suspicious as he was of her right now.

"The Lycans need to lose, now. Zaffuto must feel the pain worse than he did years ago. He must know what it means to mess with me and what I have. That stupid fuck of an omega that they have is our way in.

"Prepare yourself or get off my lane, Ashton," Zula said angrily as he paced around, not paying attention to the dripping ingesting fluids that were dropping on the floor. It was crazy when she had been turned into and how she still managed to be a dedicated Zaffuto hater.

But then again this is probably just the beginning of their troubles.

So much had already gone wrong and while Zula was pissed, she couldn’t deny the fact that everything that was happening now could have been avoided if she hadn’t gone after her brother first.

"What did he do this time?" Alpha Ashton asked and Zula let out a frustrated growl.

She was sick and tired of everything that was happening and while she needed a break, a part of her already knew that her brother knew that she was part of the crew that had kidnapped Tamiko.

Her brother was coming for her and it was just a matter of when. This was the only hope she had, which was weird seeing as Grealor was already a target for Kawi. Oh, but she was fucked over, but then, what other options were there for them?

"I need him gone, Ashton. I can’t take another day with that bastard being happy with his son. If we can’t kill his son, then we kill the omega. That is all we need to do. I will do whatever is needed to get that shit into misery again, anything.

"I’ll just take a few days off and get my shit in order. No matter what happens, don’t you dare take a step without letting me know. You get that?" Zula said as her breaths slowed, she seemed to be so stressed, which wasn’t even as unexpected, given he had had to deal with Zaffuto Hinata.

Her brother had done a number on her and her obsession with her vengeance was taking over all of her. Perhaps there was something that Ashton could do, but what the fuck was he supposed to do for a woman who had always been the one taking care of them?

She was always the one with the answers and the plans., she was always the one that could be relied on and yet right now, as she stared right at him, Ashton could see someone else.

This was not the Zula he knew and he couldn’t help but admit to himself that the mad king had hurt her irrevocably. Perhaps all she needed now was rest, no?

"Alright, you get some rest then," Ashton said and before he could add onto anything else, Zula fell to the ground with a thud, unconscious. She was tired and it had been obvious, but Ashton didn’t want her stench around his office.

Maybe he is being a prick for that, but then the woman had turned the entire pack house into a mess of stenches that even he didn’t understand how to deal with. Perhaps this time wouldn’t be so hard, no?

"Goodness, woman. In my office of all the places? You smell like shit," Ashton said as he stared at her.

He could see the scars on her and they were refreshing, way too fresh. She had gone through enough for him to be dishing her this madness and yet as Ashton watched the code to help but wonder what had truly happened out there.

He needed to know, and he was desperate for it. But then the one with the answers was knocked out dumb on his floor. Maybe he would have to just wait for the answers, no?

"Wake up soon. You have to give me answers, Zula," Ashton said as he walked towards his door where he knew his son was listening in from.
