Vengeance of The Broken Lycan Prince [BL] -
Chapter 221: Like Thunder on The Ground
Chapter 221: Like Thunder on The Ground
[KAWAI]
[FIVE DAYS LATER]
"Again," Tamiko insisted as he looked at Akila who was currently seated on the truth seat, and tied up with the compelling role and getting his tenth dose of the truth serum.
It was almost like Tamiko was trying to make an honest man out of Akila for the past five days. He wanted to get the answers he needed and frankly, he wasn’t about to compromise.
"You need to stop, Kaito. You will kill him if this continues. We need to focus on scouring the free lands at the moment," Lord Sadako tried.
Tamiko growled at his uncle, not giving a shit about how disrespectful that sounded. He hated what was happening and he hated the way that things had gotten. He couldn’t believe that this was what he had been reduced to.
He had so many regrets and so many things were going through his mind at the moment. He wanted to scream, to kill, but not before he found his Kosta. He wouldn’t stop and Akila was the only real lead he had since the five days had passed.
"He knows something, uncle. He needs to rack his brain and I need to know who the fuck Mikhailov and Terrian are. I need to find them so I can find my mate. I have killed seven hundred wolves in the past five days and none of them knew a Mikhailov or Terrian.
"There is no way no one is that dense. He should give me the answer, uncle, or I will honestly kill him," Tamiko growled and Lord Sadako sighed.
Tamiko hadn’t slept a wink for five long days, and he hadn’t threatened shit. He had spent his time alternating between interrogating Akila and searching the borders and beyond for Konstantin.
The entire kingdom had been turned upside down by the order of the Lycan King, and yet even then, no one had seen the royal omega. It was something that scared Tamiko more than anything he had ever lost.
The fact that the mate bonds were so weak with each passing day was driving him nuts. It wasn’t what he had subscribed to and he hated the way that pain had become a part of his identity.
This wasn’t what he was supposed to feel in his bond and he hated himself for it.
"He can’t think any further, Tamiko. If you hurt him, Konstantin won’t forgive you. Akila is to Igor what Daniel is to you. You don’t want your Erasthai coming back to a home that doesn’t have his best friend, do you?
"He will hate you and all your efforts would have been for nothing," Lord Sadako said, trying to reason with Tamiko. He had tried every possible way but Tamiko hadn’t once listened.
The King and Danny were out there, beyond Kawai, scouring the lands. King Zaffuto Hinata was seeking his Lycan Chief and his son-in-law, but he had been unable to get to him, which could only mean one thing; the Lycan chief was dead.
That again was something that Tamiko was not to be told, because if that happened, then the realm would never know peace and Tamiko would make certain of that. The wolves wouldn’t ever be able to live through the pain that the young Lycan would cause them.
It had only been five days and over seven hundred rogue wolves had been eliminated at the hands of Tamiko himself. That was not inclusive of the people that his father had ordered murdered and definitely not inclusive of the collaterals along the way.
Tamiko had spilled so much blood for his Erasthai that he was sure he was turning into a monster. But then for Igor, Tamiko could be whatever the fuck the fates wanted him to be.
If the monster was what the job description wanted, then he would be that for his Kosta.
He would kill every last one of the wolves and he wouldn’t stop until he got what he wanted. It was not that hard for him and with the backing of the king, Tamiko’s impudence out there was never going to be accounted for.
He was a master and everyone was a subject in his eyes. But that wasn’t what Tamiko wanted. He just wanted his Kosta. He wanted his caramel-scented omega and he wouldn’t stop until he got the man back.
He wouldn’t hold back on anything and regardless of how chaotic it all got, he wouldn’t settle.
"That is unacceptable uncle. I need answers. I need him. Even if he hates me, I need him. I need to be there for him. I’m okay with him needing space, I won’t try to fight him, I won’t try to argue, whatever he wants, I swear I will give it, but please bring him back.
"I can’t live a day longer without my Kosta, uncle. I can’t. I don’t want to lose him like I was lost. I would die without him, uncle, please. Tell Akila to give me answers, please," Tamiko pleaded and Lord Sadako felt his tears falling again.
He had cried for his nephew one too many times, and he had wished that Igor was found sooner.
They had tried to track the omega, but then he had masked his scent when he had left home and it was a scent blocker that always lasted six months unless Igor removed the patch himself.
That was why it was so hard for him to be tracked. He wasn’t even responding to the mind link and it was crazy how so many things had taken a back seat because of the unfortunate incident.
It wasn’t okay and Tamiko hated every bit of it.
He needed to see to it that his Erasthai was back and he needed him as soon as possible.
None of this was making sense, there was just no way an entire kingdom of powerful beasts, and the greatest army out there had failed to get his Kosta back. It was crazy and Tamiko was reduced to leaning into that side of life.
"He is Igor’s most trusted friend. If he knew a thing, he would have already said it. But he doesn’t, and we can’t keep torturing him with the truth serum. We can’t hurt him for trying to save his master.
"That is not how love works, my little Kaito. We have to let the warrior go. We have to give him time to think too because he is on our side. Maybe he might remember something if we don’t pressure him with truth serums.
"This is enough, Kaito. We have to, you understand me?" Lord Sadako said he looked at a tired Akila. The man had been fighting for his life at the hands of the cruelest young Lycan he had ever met.
Akila had always known that the Hinatas were protective of what was theirs, but he had seen for himself in the last five days what it meant to be loved by Tamiko Hinata.
He had understood that the prince was never going to stop and while the prince had hurt him over and over, Akila was glad that he got the answers that Igor Konstantin was never sure of.
Perhaps when he met Igor again, he would assure the Lycan Chief of just how loved he was by the Lycan prince. It wasn’t that hard and life was not that complicated.
Tamiko’s love was simple and it was easy to understand.
He lived for Igor, and he breathed for Igor.
He existed for Igor and he would do whatever it took to get back Igor.
Oh, but Igor was like his Lord and he was worshiping the man in every chance that he got.
Tamiko made it obvious one too many times and Akila was thankful that finally, his Master had found someone who was deserving of him, someone whose love was worth going to war for.
"Why can’t he think now, though, uncle? I have tried to get the answers. I even stained my hands with blood, but there was nothing. What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to keep living without the love of my life?
"How am I to keep going when I can’t even think without my Kosta? What the fuck is my life supposed to look like then, uncle? What does this have to be like this? What the hell should I do about it?
"How do I find my Kosta, Uncle?" Tamiko cried out as he went on his knees on the ground, begging anyone who knew where his Kosta was to bring him back.
It was a cry that had reached the ears of the Lycans of Kawai one too many times. And a cry that had gotten the Lycans out of the safe spaces just to see to it that Kawai was not back in the dark ages.
Then again, that didn’t mean that they were not scared of Tamiko anymore.
The Boy gave them chills, even if he wasn’t as close to them. The Lycans already knew what Tamiko had done for Kosta and how he had murdered wolves in the endless times that they had been together.
Kawai had been unlivable one too many times and regardless of how shit had gotten this was not something where they could sit by and watch, they had to help because Tamiko was clearly not the forgetting type and they had been slowly learning that in the little time they had.
"Because, son. You need time to think and you can’t think of anything if you’re constantly under duress. You understand that, right? You need to give Akila some space and then he will take it to us, if it helps, he won’t leave the palace.
"He will stay in one of the guestrooms," Lord Sadako said and Tamiko sighed before he walked out of the interrogation room, uncaring of the state he had left Akila in.
