"So, what, you’ll just run away and let him suffer as the omega he is? You want to stand there and say you aren’t worried for the man?" Danny asked and Tamiko felt the breaths leave him.

He had never imagined that things would get to this point. He lived Kosta, oh he stored that man so much it was disgustingly perfect. And now it was like his entire life had been forced to take.

A pause because they wanted much he could do to save the man. He couldn’t imagine what his erasthai would be like and he didn’t want to think of it; a life without Kosta. That wasn’t what he needed, not with Kosta anyway.

He wanted to be close to the man regardless of what he stood beside him as and it was slowly ruining him. Being away from Kosta these few hours was frustrating the shit out of him, and he was tempted to think of a way out, what was there for him?

"I can’t run away, Danny. I don’t want to. I can’t leave him, but he also doesn’t want me. What the fuck am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to go back and tell him that I’m the prince of Kawi and that he will be safe as long as he is mated to me?

"But what if he doesn’t want me? What if he thinks I’m giving him an ultimatum despite knowing so well eating shit won’t be easy for him? Then what, huh? I can’t be that type of person, m Danny. I can’t make him feel unwanted.

This was a tad complicated and it was making Danny wonder if there was ever going to be a day of peace in Tamiko’s life. Danny was tempted to go to Kosta and plead on behalf of Tamiko but he knew that some boundaries had to be respected.

He couldn’t do anything unless Tamiko wanted him to and Tamiko himself was considering staying around if Kosta didn’t want him. It was not easy and Danny was slowly understanding that, but damn.

What was left for Tamiko then?

Without Kosta, Tamiko would be doomed to get into trouble one too many times, and yet it didn’t seem so bad seeing as the other option for Tamiko was to never stay in Kawai again. Exile was honestly starting to sound a little too beautiful in Tamiko’s ears.

"Then don’t run. Don’t hide away then. Fight it with him. Fight for him. Let him know you’re there for him instead of making runs around. Everyone knows he is an omega now and the only thing any prince or alpha would protect with their pics is their omega because they are their weaknesses.

"Don’t you think that Grealor already knows that? You think they won’t try to come after your erasthai?" Danny scolded, making Tamiko stare at him in defeat even more. Danny was reminding the young Lycan of things that could have been.

He was giving him the hope that Tamiko had been sure he had lost and right now, as hateful as the young prince felt, he knew that he couldn’t deny that this was not the simplest of realities for Kosta or himself.

He had to step up, he had to fight, but if Kosta didn’t need him to step up and fight, what the hell was Tamiko supposed to do then? How was he to lean towards his erasthai if the man didn’t want to see him anymore?

What if life was never the same for them? Would it be any better for Kosta then?

Oh, but Tamiko knew he had to think and fast, but however fast his thoughts were, they couldn’t even match up to the guilt and shame the young Lycan was feeling for not being there for his erasthai.

"They wouldn’t dare. Kosta has always been an omega from the very start. Just because he hid his scent doesn’t mean he is the weakest of them all. He will fight and he will win, that much is sure," Tamiko said with a certainty that fit Danny amused.

"You think so? Do you think we will win against people who are stressed about the way that his life is right now? He is distracted and what better time for your memories to strike the one person who means the world to you then?

"Think, Tamiko. Think," Danny insisted. He was making Tamiko feel a lot of things right now and it was honestly strange. Anyone would think that Danny and Kosta were the best of friends when in reality they had a lending battle for the both of them.

They had both been linked with the young Lycan and while Danny felt terrible for Kosta right now, he was more than ready for the coming fight. He and Kosta had some unresolved issues after all and what better way to settle it all then like men and not warriors?

Perhaps this time Danny would have hope for the two, and maybe just maybe if Danny pressed on just a little he would be able to get the love birds on the same page for the sake of world leave.

If Tamiko’s and Kosta’s enemies came for Kosta then the realm would be filled with thick smoke that could probably never go away for a long time.

"What would you want me to do, Danny? I need to give him the space he asked for. I need to find a way to make things right for him, but how am I supposed to do that when I can’t even see him?

"I love him so much it hurts to see him that down. He asked for his cent today too. He didn’t want to accept that reality just yet, but that is what he has to live with, now that it is out in the open.

"There are no shortcuts around that and you know it too," Tamiko reminded in defeat.
