Chapter 148: The Asks of A Broken Soul
[GREALOR]
"Fine. I want Daniel Belova dismissed as the Grealor beta. You do that and I’ll stop him," Tamiko smirked as he looked at Gabriel. He knew what he was asking for was not only impossible but it could make Danny hate him.
But then Tamiko was way past all of that. He had suffered enough times in the hands of the Gregor people, and if this was the only way for him to make certain that no one tried to mess with him and his people again, then he would do it, no questions asked.
It was a bit over the top, asking for Danny to be dismissed knowing so well that Danny was the only functional warrior that they could truly rely on. It was an evil choice but Tamiko had laid his demands.
Gabriel had to decide if he was going to go through with that or if he was going to let everything else get fucked up because of his ego.
"What?" Gabe asked as he looked at the man he had spent all of his life being mean and rude to. There are times that he should have stopped but boundaries were things that Gabriel hadn’t learned to deal with.
He had been used to getting everything and when his little crush on Tamiko was starting to show, he figured that he could fuck everything up and make sure that no one knew about his little feelings. T
The only problem with all that was that he had tried too hard and runed whatever chances he could have had with the Hinata prince.
"Alright then. Looks like you want your warriors dead. I don’t mind snapping their necks from where I am," Tamiko said as he looked at the warriors who were struggling to restrain themselves.
The Lycan king was amused as he watched the mess before them unfold piece by piece and it wasn’t even the best of the messes this time. Perhaps all he had to do was wait too, right?
"Okay okay fine. You can have him, alright?" Gabe said and Tamiko smirked at him.
"That is not enough for me, Gabriel. I need the entirety of Grealor to know that you are dismissing your beta. I need everyone you trust and love to know that, otherwise the agreement is null and void. And I want Daniel to be here after you say that.
"If you fail, then you will have your men butcher themselves in the dance of blood and swords and I will love every bit of it. You know I don’t give a shit about a lot of things by no, yeah?" Tamiko said as he looked at the pale alpha wolf before him.
For a moment, as he stared at Gabriel standing there, weak and alone with no one to support him, Tamiko had questions. He had speculations and had thoughts that would fuck him up if he dared to voice them out.
But even that didn’t change the fact that a part of him would forever be curious about the bond he could have had with Gabriel Grealor. It was the one bond that could either make or break them for the longest time because of how complex shit had gotten.
This was something that none of them could have predicted and Tamiko wondered what would have happened if he wasn’t the Lycan prince and just the person Gabe bullied.
He wondered whether the young alpha would have continued bullying him even after the mating session or if he would have been rejected on the spot.
That was a lot for Tamiko and he subconsciously let out a low growl, one that got his father and Kosta’s attention. It was not getting any easier dealing with all of this and they knew that for him too.
"I’ll do it, just give me some time, please," Gabe pleaded, making the king lift his head and look at the youngling who was there with them. He hated the kid because of what he had done to his own kid and the king wasn’t as forgiving.
He had seen the memories in Tamiko’s head, even though he had told himself that he would never sneak into his son’s head. He had seen the pain and the torture that his dear son had gone through for the past twenty-five years and the king was mad.
King Zaffuto was willing to bring Grealor to the ground even at this moment, but he had to be patient and wait to see for himself what his son would want to do with the mess that was here.
He wanted to erase Grealor for existence and the memories of everyone he could have, but he had to be patient. He alone wasn’t even on the same page with his son and he didn’t want to ruin that alright now.
"You have five minutes," King Zaffuto said and the young alpha stared at the estate that was glaring at him, with cold eyes you would think that this was the frozen side of hell.
It was not fair in any way and it was a little bit to fucked up, but this as what they had been forced to deal with at the moment.
"But Sire—"
"Four."
"Yes, Sire," Gabe said as he scrambled the mind link to get to Danny.

While everything was going to shit on this side of the pack, Danny was on the other side at the cemetery, laying between his father and his sister’s graves.
He didn’t know what he needed to do, because while he was angry with Tamiko for what he had done to them, Danny knew Tamiko was in the right state then.
He knew that the things they had done wouldn’t be any different with them, if the positions were switched, perhaps they would have turned out to be worse than Tamiko.
It was almost like Danny was having a conflict internally which was making him wonder if he could ever get himself to be mad at his best friend. He still considered Tamiko even after everything.
"What do I do now, Galya? I swore to protect him with my life and he took you for me without so much as a second thought. I defended him and he ruined everything I had. Why can’t I hate him for all of this?" Danny asked himself defeatedly.
He had tried his best to Tamiko, but his hate never caught on. It was almost like Tamiko was just an annoying little brother who he loved and hated at the same time, but would still lay down his life for.
He was in a dilemma, and perhaps he would find an answer soon, right?
’Greetings, Grealor. Effective now, Daniel Belova is dismissed as the pack beta and is to be presented to the Lycan king, as retribution for what his family did to the young Lycan prince.
’Zakhar will be the new beta effective immediately,’ Gabe’s voice came through the mind links and Danny just chuckled. He wanted to say he hated this, but he couldn’t even think of it like that. Since his family died, Danny had felt alone like life wasn’t worth living.
At the last few moments with Tamiko, he would be able to release all his anger and find a path that would be worthwhile for him and his little brother, right?
"Looks like I found a purpose, Galya. I’ll see you soon," Danny said as he walked away from the cemetery towards where the Hinatas were in the hope that this new adventure would make his life easier. Would it though?
