Han Xin had been too intrigued by Xiang Yu’s behaviour in the simulator to let it go. He decided to spy on Xiang Yu, hacking into the system to find out where he was. The restaurant Xiang Yu was at was a hotspot for the affluent, valuing customer privacy above all.

However, they hadn’t accounted for someone hacking the service robots in the private rooms. Han Xin could see and hear everything.

Han Xin was with Han Zhan and Little Bai, who also watched the three people in the private room. Little Bai leaned against Han Zhan’s shoulder and asked, "Do you think he is courting them both? What the hell is going on?"

Han Zhan turned to look at Little Bai and grabbed his hand, massaging his knuckles. "How about now? Still dislike me?" He kissed Little Bai’s fingers with a dazzled look in his eyes. He looked like he was knee deep in love and nothing in this world or the next could save him... not that he wanted to be saved.

Han Xin stared at the two being affectionate in front of him and felt annoyed. He couldn’t help but wonder what the whole fuss was about when love was just an unnecessary chemical reaction and a distraction. He clicked his tongue and walked away to watch elsewhere, not wanting to blind his eyes.

Little Bai saw him leave and smacked Han Zhan’s head. "You shouldn’t act so affectionate in front of others."

Han Zhan hugged Little Bai’s waist and looked up at him. "I can’t help it. Maybe we should send him on blind dates so he wouldn’t be a third wheel."

Little Bai said, "You are heartless," while trying to push Han Zhan away, but Han Zhan clung tight, saying, "Husband, don’t go."

Han Xin sat in the adjacent room, his eyes fixed on the floating screen displaying the private room’s feed. The door to the private room was suddenly knocked, and a waiter peeked their head in through the gap.

Before the waiter could say anything, the door was pushed roughly open, and a tall alpha with grey hair and a neatly trimmed grey beard walked in. Anyone could tell who this man was at a glance. It was the former Marshal, Marshal Wu, Wu Lian and Wu Mei’s grandfather. He looked extremely livid but was suppressing it. In truth he was like a mama bear finding his cubs in the enemy’s den.

Xiang Yu immediately stood up and saluted the Marshal, while the twins continued eating, waving at their grandpa. "No need, Your Highness," Marshal Wu said, but his tone sounded like he was saying, "I am going to kill you."

"Please, take a seat. Would you like anything?" Xiang Yu offered.

Marshal Wu declined, his eyes fixed on his granddaughters, who looked like they hadn’t been fed in ages. One had a shimmering layer of oil on her mouth, while the other bit through a porqon leg like a savage. They looked like they had no food at home and had to beg His Highness to be fed. At this rate, they might sell the entire Wu clan for a meal.

Lian couldn’t resist poking the bear. "Here, Grandpa, would you like a bite? It’s delicious?" she said, holding out a piece of her meal.

Mei chimed in, "You can also try mine, Grandpa."

Grandpa Wu gritted his teeth, resisting the urge to drag both of them out of there. He put on a forced smile and said, "No, I am fine. You can eat."

Lian shrugged her shoulders and said, "Okay."

Marshal Wu, "..."

Xiang Yu couldn’t just let the former marshal sit there watching them eat, so he ordered an expensive bottle of liquor for him. From the information he had, the retired marshal preferred Gold Nebula, renowned for its potency and exquisite sensory experience. Marshal Wu sneered internally and downed the entire glass in one go, but he felt nothing. He couldn’t even enjoy his favourite thing at the moment.

Xiang Yu respectfully poured out some more liquor for the former marshal. The Marshal took the glass and swirled it, releasing notes of exotic spices, reminiscent of cinnamon and star anise.

He lifted his gaze and said, "Your Highness, it’s a little hard to drink alone. Since this is His Highness’ grace towards me, it wouldn’t be too much to ask to share a cup with me."

Xiang Yu smiled genuinely. "It would be an honour."

The service robot, which had been silently standing in the corner, moved and placed a clean glass on the table. It wanted to pour some for Xiang Yu, but the Marshal raised his hand. "I will do it," he said.

The service robot retreated, and Marshal Wu poured the strong liquor into the glass. Normally, having the Marshal pour liquor for one would be a sign of great respect, but in this situation, it wasn’t.

The Marshal had a malicious purpose. He should have poured roughly a shot, but he kept going. Mei and Lian stopped eating, watching the glass filled to the top.

"Grandpa, are you trying to kill him?" Mei accused.

Lian added, "Murder is wrong, old man."
