Xiang Yu had never been this furious with Han Xin ever since he realized his feelings. In the second world, Han Xin never deliberately did anything to anger him. But in the third world, he was like a naughty child, doing exactly what he was told not to do. Xiang Yu laughed angrily, watching Han Xin walk away with Peng Xiu.

Lian and Mei glanced in that direction. Lian said, "Master, don’t be angry. This is only the beginning, and you two haven’t developed feelings yet."

Mei chimed in, "Yes, Brother Xin is just blind to his feelings. He will make up for it soon."

Xiang Yu was so angry that he snapped, "Are you two defending him?"

The twins looked like children coaxing their mother not to be so mad at their father anymore. They simultaneously said, "No, no, we are not."

Xiang Yu turned to leave, and the twins followed after him. The academy was full of activity, with students rushing with purpose while others hung around without a care in the world. It was divided into nine faculties: Mech Division, Mech Design and Engineering Division, Cyber Warfare Division, Aerospace Operations Division, Intelligence and Reconnaissance Division, Special Forces Training Division, Logistics and Supply Chain Division, Medical and Field Surgery Division, and Psychological Operations Division.

Xiang Yu, together with the twins and Han Xin, were all in the Mech Division, while Peng Xiu was in the Logistics and Supply Chain Division. They were in different faculties, but their worlds would intersect due to certain core courses.

The hallway of the Military Academy buzzed with the early morning energy of cadets hurrying to their classes before assembly. Conversations hummed through the air, punctuated by the clatter of boots on polished floors. It was the usual scene of chaotic excitement until a palpable shift occurred, drawing everyone’s attention.

Xiang Yu walked through the corridor with a renewed aura that was impossible to ignore. Beside him, the alpha twins, Lian and Mei, matched his stride, their presence adding to the spectacle. Xiang Yu had always been considered handsome, but today he exuded a new charm that left onlookers captivated. His former haughtiness and arrogance had been replaced with a quiet confidence and allure that seemed almost otherworldly.

Students paused mid-conversation and turned their heads, doing double-takes as the trio passed. Whispers of surprise rippled through the crowd. The fact that Lian and Mei, who had previously embarrassed Xiang Yu at every opportunity, now flanked him like loyal allies was a shock in itself. Their disdain for him was well-known, yet here they were, walking together as if they had never been enemies.

Xiang Yu walked with an air of indifference, ignoring the myriad of astonished looks thrown his way. His demeanour suggested that he was unaware of the effect he had on those around him, yet it was clear he commanded the attention of everyone in the hallway.

As the siren for the assembly rang out, the students began to rush towards the main hall, the murmurs of astonishment fading as they hurried to find their places. Xiang Yu, because of his royal status, was ushered to the front of the assembly hall and did not need to join his faculty. As he moved past the rows of cadets, he nodded respectfully to the lecturers seated at the front. They, too, were taken aback. Since when had the crown prince shown such respect?

Lecturers exchanged bewildered glances, trying to reconcile the respectful young man before them with the proud and aloof figure they had known. Throughout the assembly, Xiang Yu felt the weight of numerous eyes on him, but he paid it no mind. He maintained his composed demeanour as he sat cross-legged at the knees, his elbow resting on the armrest and his head propped up by his fist.

He lacked the demeanour of a future ruler and appeared unruly, but he still had an air of authority about him. He was half-listening to the speeches after they had completed their pledge to the Republic. The chancellor finally finished his speech on the podium and called the student president to make his speech in closing the assembly.

Xiang Yu glanced back at Mei standing behind him. Mei leaned down, and Xiang Yu asked, "Is this the last one?" Mei nodded her head, and one of the professors with a long white beard coughed, signalling them to be silent.

Xiang Yu knew that most of the professors didn’t like him because he never trained seriously and used his status as the crown prince to avoid discipline. When they tried to educate him and be a little tougher with him, he would pull out the "I am the crown prince and you are all my subordinates" card. Sometimes they thought he was just here for show and to waste important resources that could have been given to other students who truly wanted to be here.

Xiang Yu apologised to the old professor. The old professor didn’t expect him to apologize. Xiang Yu had never been to school and never had to sit still this long, but Lian and Mei had already gone through it in the past world, so they handled it better than Xiang Yu. The old professor humphed, and Xiang Yu looked back at the podium and found that it was Han Xin giving a speech.

Han Xin was the student president, and it made sense why. He was extremely intelligent and the top scorer in their faculty. He was also popular, with a handsome appearance and the status of the school heartthrob. Xiang Yu, who had been sitting lazily, suddenly sat up straight and was now paying attention. The professors and chancellor didn’t miss His Highness’ little actions. The person who had been so bored that he seemed ready to doze off at any minute was now sitting there, paying attention.

Han Xin noticed Xiang Yu sitting in the front but ignored him. Throughout the entire speech, he didn’t look at him at all. Xiang Yu didn’t mind being ignored. He was just admiring his man’s handsome appearance, though his expression remained expressionless.
