Xiang Yu was absent-mindedly scrolling on his laptop when Mei’s voice broke the silence. "Master, has the Divine Emperor bothered you lately?"

Xiang Yu leaned his head to the side so the monitor wouldn’t block his view. "No, he hasn’t. He has been quiet."

Lian, aggressively colouring on her tablet with her tongue sticking out, chimed in. "He is probably in a dark room crying, saying ’You vixen!" She mimicked what she thought the Divine Emperor would sound like, her voice exaggerated and dramatic.

Mei joined in, putting on a devastated expression and changing her voice mimicking the Divine Emperor, "Ohhhhh, the infamyyyyy! You ruined my innocent son!"

Xiang Yu leaned back in his seat, laughing heartily. "You two want to anger him to death."

Lian shook her head, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "No no no, Master, you already did that."

Mei giggled, adding, "Yeah, the day you were k.i.s.s.i.n.g with Xin-ge. Hahaha!"

Lian giggled too, finding it amusing. Xiang Yu picked up a pencil from his desk and threw it at their small table. The girls laughed even more, and Xiang Yu chuckled softly. "Who told you that we kissed?"

Lian was about to answer when a knock on the door interrupted them. "Come in," Xiang Yu called.

Little Bai walked in, about to speak, when Chief Xi, Agent Shen, and Agent Lu followed without waiting for an invitation. Xiang Yu wasn’t offended by their intrusion. He was curious to know what they wanted from him this time.

Xiang Yu leaned back in his seat, his eyes narrowing slightly as he regarded Chief Xi and his entourage. "Chief, how may I help you today?" he asked, his tone polite but edged with curiosity.

Chief Xi, Agent Shen, and Agent Lu exchanged glances, their eyes flicking to the twins who were glaring at them with obvious vigilance, ready to explode into action to protect Xiang Yu. Chief Xi cleared his throat. "Your kids?"

Xiang Yu smiled, a hint of pride in his voice. "Yes, aren’t they cute?"

Chief Xi glanced at Lian and Mei, who looked anything but cute at that moment. They seemed poised to let out a battle cry and charge at him. "Can we talk... in private?" he asked, a bit uneasily.

Xiang Yu looked at Lian and Mei and gestured for them to leave. The twins got up reluctantly. As they passed by the agents, Lian made a throat-slitting gesture, and Mei mimicked an "I will be watching you" gesture. Little Bai smiled apologetically as he closed the door behind them.

Xiang Yu stopped Little Bai, saying, "Get yourselves some ice cream."

Little Bai nodded, and two happy screams were heard outside the office. "Okay Yu-ge," he said before closing the door.

Xiang Yu gestured for the agents to sit, and they took seats at the small table where the girls had been drawing. Agent Shen noticed the tablets were still open. One displayed a picture of two grooms getting married, while the other had a drawing of a witch with Xs over her eyes. It was easy to tell which one belonged to Lian and which to Mei.

Chief Xi sat down in the chair in front of Xiang Yu. "Congratulations, I heard you scored a major win," Xiang Yu said.

Chief Xi tugged at his tie, clearly uncomfortable in formal wear. "Heard from who?"

Xiang Yu pointed at the TV that was still on. "Really, you heard it from the news?"

Xiang Yu smiled leisurely. "Are you here to harass me again? It seems I was too generous last time. I should have sued your bureau for damaging my reputation and causing emotional distress."

Agent Lu started to speak, but Agent Shen stopped him with a hand on his arm. Chief Xi sighed. "We are not here to harass you, just to talk."

Xiang Yu’s eyes narrowed. "Sure, we can talk, but you have to apologise first. Your men planted evidence on me and spread my face all over the news. My kids were put in harm’s way, and I almost lost my business because of you. Shouldn’t you apologize to me, Chief Xi?"

Chief Xi bowed his head, his voice heavy with regret. "I am very sorry for harassing you. If I had known I had bad seeds in my team, I would have weeded them out a long time ago."

Xiang Yu leaned back in his seat, a sarcastic smile playing on his lips. "Quite sincere. I accept your apology. Just don’t show up at my door like this again, otherwise I will pursue the matter." His smile was menacing, his eyes oppressive.

Chief Xi nodded, understanding the threat. "Understood... Speaking of bad seeds, have you seen Peng Xiu?"

Agent Lu gritted his teeth. "That bitch has to be punished for what she did to me! Where is she?"

Xiang Yu tilted his head slightly, looking at Agent Lu playfully. "Agent Lu, you look a little pale. It looks like you were caught in the rain."

Agent Lu shut up immediately, his anger about Peng Xiu getting away with trying to kill him simmering beneath the surface. He knew he was alive because of Old Song and by extension he should be thanking Xiang Yu so he quickly shut his mouth.

"What makes you think I would know where she is?" Xiang Yu asked, his tone casual.

Chief Xi sighed. "I would have asked Han Xin, but I can’t seem to get a hold of him, so I could only come to you."

Xiang Yu remained relaxed. "I wouldn’t know. I don’t interfere in my man’s business. You can ask me anything about the tattoo business, and I will answer you."

Chief Xi knew that wasn’t true but didn’t want to risk offending Xiang Yu again. "Then can you tell him to contact me?"

Xiang Yu was about to agree, albeit perfunctory, when the office door opened. The person Chief Xi was looking for stood there. Han Xin’s bright expression fell when he saw the three additional men in his boyfriend’s office. "I didn’t think you would have company," Han Xin said.

Han Zhan, who was following behind, asked, "Sister-in-law, where is Little Bai?"

Everyone, "..."

Xiang Yu blinked, momentarily taken aback by the title, but he quickly accepted it. "He went to get ice cream with the twins at the ice cream shop."

Han Zhan nodded. "Okay, I am out. Let me know if you would like me to take the trash out for you," he said staring at the three men with a sly smile before walking out.

He left as Han Xin walked towards his lover and kissed Xiang Yu’s lips in front of everyone before urging him to get up. Xiang Yu was a little confused.

Han Xin shamelessly said, "My leg hurts and I want to sit down. All the seats are occupied."

Unlike the old tattoo shop that was being renovated, this place was smaller, and Xiang Yu’s office here didn’t have couches for clients. Xiang Yu immediately showed worry on his face as he got up. "Is it that bad? Do you want me to call the doctor?"

Han Xin sat down and said, "It’s not that serious," while grabbing Xiang Yu’s wrist and pulling him to sit on his lap.

Everyone in the room was momentarily stunned. Xiang Yu chuckled, realising he had been tricked. This man just wanted to grope him in a place others couldn’t see.
