Lin Yan just looked at Li Lingyun as he carried her back to the bed and tucked her bed in.

After tucking her, Li Lingyun sat beside her and asked "What are you thinking about?"

"About how I never want you to cook for another woman or tucked them in the way you do to me."

Li Lingyun smiled and asked "What nonesense are you saying, why would I cook for another woman?"

"Then you can’t cook for anyone else that isn’t me or our children."

"Fine, I won’t cook for anyone that isn’t you or our children, now get some rest. I have called the hotel and they know you won’t be coming in today. I will have to go to the office but I will be back very soon." Li Lingyun said with a gentle smile in his eyes, he didn’t want to leave her alone but he had a very important meeting.

He kissed her forehead and left.

Few minutes after Li Lingyun left, Lin Yan received a call from her brother.

"Hello."

"Why did you get drunk yesterday?" Lin An asked with concerned in his voice. He wondered if something had happened and that was why she decided to drown herself in alcohol.

"I was just with a friend and had a little more to drink, don’t get so agitated."

"You think I’m getting agitated? Who knows what you said to Li Lingyun that made him to call me and ask about our aunt."

Lin Yan froze for a moment and said "Li Lingyun asked about aunt? What did you tell him?"

Lin An was silent for a moment and said "Nothing, I told him nothing."

"Come to think of it Lin An, you never did tell me what you did to her?"

"What exactly do you want to know?" Lin An.

"Did you kill her?" Lin Yan asked and suddenly hear as Lin An burst into laugh.

"Lin Yan, there are a lot of ways to deal with a person except killing them. You of all people know that, and for our beloved aunt, I can assure you that she is alive but I’m sure she wish she wasn’t."

"I want to get rid of it." Shen Yi said to the doctor. There was no emotion in her voice as she said those words.

The doctor looked at Shen Yi and sighed. It hasn’t even been long when he was telling her congratulations for her pregnancy and now she wanted to abort it. He wasn’t really surprised, after all a lot of women has asked for the same thing.

"Are you sure? I advice you think about it."

"I’m sure." Shen Yi replied without any hesitation. She was going to get her old life, her husband and her Li Xiao back. This baby did not matter, she already had a child for the person that matters.

"Since you are sure, then we will fixed an appointment for you."

Shen Yi stood up as she said "Thank you doctor."

As Shen Yi was leaving the hospital, she mistakenly bumped into a pregnant woman before she could apologize she heard the woman saying "Are you blind? Couldn’t you watch where you are going?"

After speaking to her rudely, the woman walked away, Shen Yi looked at the woman and thought that she looked familiar, it was after leaving the hospital that she remembered who the woman is. She was Fang Min, Li Jun’s wife. So that was the woman Li Jun cheated on Lin Yan with, how disappointing.

"What do you mean by she changed her mind! Do people change their mind from not wanting a child to suddenly wanting it?" Fang Min asked. She was beyond furious when she received a call that the girl no longer wished to give her child out.

"It happens sometimes."

"But not this time. After the money I have given her, she can’t back out. That child is mine, I have paid for it so her wishes does not matter. "

"So what should we do?"

"Make her believe that I have accepted her wishes and keep her here until she gives birth and then you will tell her that her child did not make it. Infact, I prefer this method, it will save me a lot of trouble in the future."

The doctor smiled and said "As you wished."

Shen Yi who was outside the door was shocked. She had just stepped out of the hospital when she realized that she had forgotten her phone, only for her to hear this. So this means that Fang Min has lost her child and now she plans to take someone else baby.

Shen Yi walked out of the hospital in silence before suddenly bursting into laughter. This was perfect, Fang Min is going to be the key for her to enter back into Li Lingyun life and take everything that belongs to her.

Shen Yi was so happy when she got home but that happiness faded when she saw Mu Chen in her house sitting on her couch.

"How did you enter?"

Mu Chen bought out a key and said "Have you forgotten that you gave me a key."

"Leave the key and get lost."

"I know you are angry but think about it this way. When I get married to Meng Ziyi, we can use her for our career. We don’t have to break up just because I am marrying Meng Ziyi."

"I’m happy you are marrying her. She deserves to marry a trash like you."

"Zhou Xi!"

"I loved you, I was ready to give you everything and to abandon everything for you but you did nothing but lied and cheated. Enjoy being the Meng family in law, you think you have made an achievement but you are wrong, you will have to spend the rest of your life trying to impress that family and you know why? It’s because you are nothing but a gold digger that their stupid daughter fell for."

"Zhou Xi!" Mu Chen shouted as he raised his hand to her.

Shen Yi looked at Mu Chen raised hand and said "Were you about to hit me. Then go ahead slap me, do it!" Tears were already rolling down her eyes. She had truly loved Mu Chen but he only used her for her money and she will never forgive him for that.

Mu Chen lower his hand and said "I’m sorry. Believe it or not, to me what we had was real. And if you still wish, we don’t have to end anything just because I’m getting married to Ziyi."

"I said GET LOST!"

Mu Chen dropped the key and left.

Shen Yi walked to her room and laid down on her bed and burst into tears. She couldn’t stop crying even when she wanted to and that was how she cried herself to sleep.

"I wished I didn’t give birth to any of you, I should have gotten rid of you two when I had the chance."

Little Lin An covered his sister ears to prevent her from hearing those harsh words.

A three year old Lin Yan pushed her brother away and stood in front of their mother as she said "We also wished you weren’t our mother. You are a terrible person and we hate you."

"What? How dare you speak to me like that?"

Lin An watched as their mother raise her hand and slapped Lin Yan.

Lin An rushed to his sister and saw that her lip was bleeding, he looked at his mother with pure hatred in his eyes.

"What are you looking at? You shouldn’t forget that I am the one who feed you and for your disrespectful action today, you can forget about dinner. The both of you should starve and you would be doing me a huge favor if you just starve to death."

Lin An hugged his sister tightly as she cried in his arm.

Later that night, Lin An could see that his sister was hungry and as always their so called mother wasn’t home.

Lin An looked at his sister and said "I am going to go bring some food, so stay here and don’t open the door for anybody. Ok?"

Little Lin Yan nodded.

Lin An who has walked around asking for food could not get any, they all drove him away or just looked at him with disgust. He was tired and hungry but he couldn’t go back home without bringing some food for his sister, he turned and looked at a store that was selling bread and apple. Seeing that the store owner was distracted, Lin An quickly took a bread and an apple and ran away.

While running, he suddenly heard someone shouting Thief! Thief!.

He knew they were running after him and so he quickly hid the food in his coat before they could catch him.

Lin An fell down when someone threw a stone at him and before he knew it, he was surrounded by men and women.

He saw the shop owner looking at him viciously as he asked "How dare you steal from me? Return what you stole?"

Lin An shook his head and before he knew it someone kicked him and it was as if that was a go ahead for everyone to start hitting him. But even after being beaten, Lin An refused to return the food. He held his coat tightly to him and endure all their kicking and slapping until he lost conciousness.

When Lin An regain his conciousness, he saw that he was alone. The first thing he did was to check if the food was still in his coat and when it was still there he sighed in relief.

Despite the pain he felt in his whole body, Lin An stood up and went back to home.

Lin Yan who saw her brother all wounded began crying and only stopped after Lin An comforted her.

"I only fell on a big stone and that is why this happened. Next time I will make sure I look very carefully before walking. Now stop crying."

Lin Yan looked at her brother in doubt and asked "Did you really fell on a big stone?"

Lin An patted his sister head "Of course I did. Would I lie to you?"

Lin Yan immediately shook her head and said "Brother An would never lie to me."

Lin An smiled and brought out the bread and apple. "You can eat all this."

"Everything? But won’t you eat as well?" Lin Yan asked.

Lin An shook his head and said "I have already eaten. I ate a lot before coming back."

"Really?" Little Lin Yan asked with doubt in her eyes. She knew her brother was lying, he had never eaten without her and she has never eaten without him. So with that in mind, Lin Yan took the bread and divided it into two, she gave half of it to Lin An.

Lin An shook her head and said "I told you I’ve already eaten."

"I won’t eat if you don’t eat with me." Lin Yan replied firmly.

Lin An immediately wiped away the little tears that has escape his eyes and took the bread. They ate both the bread and apple together and fell asleep while being each other warmth.

The scene change and Lin An found himself looking at his mother dead and cold eyes, his hands cover his sister eyes as he watched as their mother jumped down from the building with a smile on her face.

Lin An opened his eyes with gasp as he breathed out loud.

"Did you have another nightmare?"

"Ah!" Lin An shouted with a hand on his chest as he looked at his sister.

"Geez Lin Yan, you scared me."

Lin Yan smiled and asked "Did I really scared you?"

Lin An looked at his sister and sighed "What are you even doing here?"

"I came to see my lovely brother but you were having a nightmare, right?"

"I’m fine."

Lin Yan sat on the couch and tap her thigh as she said "You can go back to sleep, I will make sure to drive all the nightmares away."

Lin An smile and patted his sister head before lying on her thigh.

"Should I sing a lullaby to you?"

"Do I look like a kid to you?" Lin An replied with his eyes closed.

Lin Yan ignored him and started singing while carressing his hair.

Lin An smiled as he drift back to sleep.
