Chapter 99: L and L

Li Lingyun woke up and was surprised that Lin Yan was not besides him. He was about to get worried when he noticed a note besides him that says ’I went out to get something, but I will be back really quick.’

What did she go and get? Suddenly he heard the door opened and a little voice screaming "Daddy!"

Li Lingyun smiled when his daughter jumped on the bed and hugged him.

Li Xiao looked at her dad with excitement as she said "Happy Birthday daddy!"

Li Lingyun was surprised at first. That was right, today was his birthday. How could he forget?

Li Lingyun could see Lin Yan nervousness but decided to say nothing, instead he held her two cheek and kissed her on her forehead. "Let’s go, Li Xiao is waiting for us."

Li Lingyun held her hand and took her to where Li Xiao was. Li Xiao who was busy playing with other children suddenly ran to Lin Yan and hugged her tightly.

Li Xiao insisted on riding every ride at the amusement park and Li Lingyun agreed but always showed his disapproval whenever he consider a ride to be too dangerous.

After the ride, Li Xiao and Lin Yan insisted on trying the haunted house.

Li Xiao would always screamed whenever she saw a ghost and would hugged her dad tighter.

Lin Yan on the other hand would say that it was not real while holding Li Lingyun hands tightly.

Li Lingyun smiled when he saw his wife actions and held her tighter.

Lin Yan sighed in relief after leaving the haunted house, she was never going back there again.

Li Lingyun looked at his watch and saw that it was getting late. Although he didn’t throw a huge party, he was happy to be able to spend this day with the woman he loves and with his daughter. He looked at Lin Yan with a smile as he said "We should get going. It’s already late."

"There is one more place we need to go." Lin Yan said.

Li Lingyun smiled and collected it, he torn the paper that was used to cover the portrait. It was a beautiful picture of him, Lin Yan and her. Although the drawing wasn’t that of a professional but to Li Lingyun it was one of the most precious gift he has ever received on his birthday.

"I never knew you were this good at drawing."

"Mum enrolled me into a drawing class." Li Xiao said proudly.

"Li Xiao told me about the gift she wanted to get you, I saw that she was good but needed more practice so I decided to enrolled her in one of the best drawing class in country D. Luckily she is fast learner."

Li Lingyun ruffled his daughter hair and said "Thank you. This is definitely the best birthday gift I have ever received from anyone."

"Really?"

"Of course." Li Lingyun said with a smile and hugged his daughter.

Yao Qi who noticed Li Xiao yawning said "Let me take her." She carried Li Xiao in her arms and said "Happy birthday."

"Thank you."

Lin Yan stood in front of Li Lingyun and asked "Do you want to know what I got for you?"

"Of course I would like to know what my wife got for me." Li Lingyun said. He noticed Lin Yan nervousness and said "Whatever it is, I will love it because it is from you."

Si Yan rolled his eyes when he heard that and suddenly received a hit from Meng Zhu.

"Just give it to me." Li Lingyun said with a gentle voice. He wondered what kind of present she bought him to make her this nervous and flustered.

Lin Yan put her hand in her pocket and bought out a ring. She held Li Lingyun left hand and placed the ring on his fingers.

Li Lingyun just stared at her. Among all things he was expecting from her, he has never thought of it being a ring. He looked at the ring on his finger and heard her saying "It has our initials."

I will always protect you and Li Xiao to the best of my ability and I will try my best to be a good wife to you and a good mother to Li Xiao and our three future kids."

Li Lingyun chuckled when he heard about the three future kids. He was speechless, there was no words that could describe his feelings towards this woman, he felt as if his heart was about to burst from the love he was feeling towards her. Without saying anything Li Lingyun held the back of her head and suddenly kiss her.

The kiss was slow and sensual. Lin Yan felt as if Li Lingyun wanted to show his love for her through this kiss. It was different, it was passionate and it made her heart to race like never before.

As Li Lingyun held her waist to bring her closer, she suddenly heard a loud cough. It made her to immediately pushed Li Lingyun away.

She totally forgot that they were not alone.

Li Lingyun smiled when Lin Yan hid her face in his chest and hugged her tightly.

"Happy birthday once again little brother." Meng Zhu said. They were alone, the party ended and Yao Qi was already waiting for him inside the car.

Li Lingyun smiled and said "It’s been long before you called me little brother."

"You look happy."

"I am happy."

Meng Zhu smiled and said "Don’t worry about Li Xiao, both me and Yao Qi will take care of her, so ensure you make one of those future kids tonight."

Li Lingyun said nothing and just smiled. Tonight was probably the happiest night in all his life.

"But come to think of it, why was the initials L and L, shouldn’t it have been L and S?"

"That’s is because Shen Yi other name start with an L." Li Lingyun said with no hint of doubt or uncertainty in his voice.

"Oh." Meng Zhu said as he nodded his head in understanding. "I will see you later then."

Li Lingyun walked back to Lin Yan and asked "Should we stay here for the night or go back home."

Lin Yan smiled and said "Let’s go back home."

Few minutes later, both Lin Yan and Li Lingyun arrived at Sun Villa, Lin Yan felt as if the ride was filled with sexual tension and at the same time she wondered what if it was just her.

Immediately they both entered the room, Lin Yan was suddenly pushed to the door as she felt a warm lip on hers.

Li Lingyun kissed wasn’t slow like the one in the party but it was still passionate and sensual. Lin Yan felt as if she could tell how much he wanted her through his kiss.

Lin Yan moaned as his lips travelled from hers to her neck. Li Lingyun bit her earlobe playfully and whispered "Tell me you love me. Say it again."

"I love you. I love you so much." Lin Yan replied without hesitation.

Li Lingyun lips descended on hers again as he carried her and placed her on the bed without breaking the kiss.

They slowly shred off their clothes as they lost themselves in their passion.

The room was filled with moans and groan from their passionate activity which didn’t end till the middle of the night.

"Yes Ma."

"Ensure you don’t make any mistake. Make sure you end her forever." Wang Hua said viciously.

"There will be no mistake." A deep voice replied.

Fang Min who hid in a conner couldn’t help but smile. Who would have thought that her mother in-law would be the one to get rid of the person she hates the most. She was glad, by this time tomorrow, Shen Yi will no longer be a part of their life and she didn’t even had to get her hands dirty for it.
