Chapter 96: Worst Nightmare.

Lin Yan looked at the address on her phone and then at the bar in front of her. Is this really the place?

Lin Yan entered the bar and immediately sighted Yao Qi in the bar. Was the bartender flirting with her? She watched as Yao Qi turned to faced her and waved at her.

Lin Yan walked closer to them and sat beside Yao Qi.

Yao Qi looked at the bartender who have been trying to flirt with her and said "Bring me your strongest liquor in the house."

Lin Yan watched as Yao Qi winked at the bartender who blushed a little before getting the drinks. She heard Yao Qi asking "Does Li Lingyun know you are here?"

"No, he doesn’t. He sent me a message that he will be working late. Does Meng Zhu know you are here?"

"Of course not. Our meeting will no longer be fun, if any of them find out."

The bartender bought the drink and Yao Qi asked "Is this the strongest you have?"

The bartender smiled and replied "Yes, it is."

"I’m not much of a drinker."

"That’s is the point. I plan to get drunk and wasted and then if we still have the energy, we would go to one of those night club and party really hard."

Lin Yan looked at Yao Qi and noticed that something was wrong. She looked happy but her eyes were sad. "Are you alright?"

Yao Qi held the liquor and turned more than a little in her glass and drank it all before saying "What Meng Ziyi said wasn’t really wrong."

"What do you mean by it wasn’t wrong? She obviously disrespected you."

"I have been married to Meng Zhu for five years. For the first three years of my marriage I wasn’t able to get pregnant and the fourth year when I was finally able to conceived, I lost the child."

Lin Yan was surprised, she thought that they didn’t have a child because they didn’t want one yet.

After drinking it she said "I’m sure you will have a child one day. You were pregnant once, so you will definitely become pregnant again so don’t ever lose hope."

Yao Qi smiled and cleaned the tears from her eyes as she said "Sorry, I wanted us to have some nice time but look at me ruining it."

"You aren’t ruining anything."

"Li Lingyun got really lucky with you. So have you thought of what you present to give to him?"

"Present?"

Yao Qi widened her eyes and said "Don’t Tell me you forgot that Li Lingyun birthday is next week."

Forgot? More like she didn’t even know, but she couldn’t possibly admit that to Yao Qi so she said "Of course I remembered, it’s just that I haven’t given it a lot of thought yet."

Lin Yan poured another drink for herself and asked "Why don’t we try it out?"

"Try what out?" Yao Qi asked in confusion.

"The club. Let’s party really hard and forget everything."

Li Lingyun arrived at Sun Villa by 11pm and saw that Lin Yan wasn’t in the room. He checked the bathroom and didn’t see her there as well and then decided to call her but the call wasn’t going through.

He checked Li Xiao room and saw his little girl sleeping alone.

Could she be with Lin An? He decided to call Lin An and when the call went through, he asked "Is Lin Yan with you?"

"No, she isn’t. She is not at home?"

"If she is I wouldn’t be calling you. Do you where she might be?"

Lin An scoffed and said "Isn’t she your wife, you should know where she is." He hanged the call and tried to call Lin Yan but is wasn’t going through.

Lin An looked at the time and got from bed and called another person "I will send you a number, I want you to tell me where the owner of that number is. You have only ten minutes to do."

Li Lingyun who was about to lose his mind suddenly received a call from Meng Zhu. "Hello."

"Yao Qi and Shen Yi are together. I know you must be worried."

Li Lingyun sighed in relief and asked "Where are they?"

"I will send you the address."

After a few seconds, Li Lingyun received a message from Meng Zhu and frowned. What was she doing at a club and without telling him.

"I want to dance some more!" Lin Yan shouted, hoping her voice would be louder than than the loud music playing.

Yao Qi laughed and said "You are completely wasted."

"Get that look off your face. Not everybody is a workaholic like you." Meng Zhu said to him after noticing his reaction.

Li Lingyun sighed and immediately noticed Lin Yan and Yao Qi. Just from here he could see that his wife was extremely drunk.

"Found them." Li Lingyun said and pointed to their direction.

Meng Zhu immediately ran to his wife and hugged her. He knew why she was here? And just the thought of it made his heart to ache.

"Meng Zhu, you found me!" Yao Qi said with a smile.

Meng Zhu suddenly felt a small fist hitting him from his back as he heard "Stay away from her! Stay away!."

Li Lingyun immediately held Lin Yan hand and said "He is her husband, there is no need for him to stay away from her."

Meng Zhu turned and looked at Lin Yan "She is completely wasted, I’m so sorry. I’m sure it was Yao Qi who bought her here."

"Is he really your husband? He doesn’t look like him?" Lin Yan said looking at Meng Zhu suspiciously.

Yao Qi also looked at Meng Zhu and asked "Are you really my husband?"

"Ok. I’m taking you home." Meng Zhu said and carried Yao Qi in his arms and left.

Lin Yan pointed at Meng Zhu and shouted "Stop him! He is taking my Yao Qi away."

Lin An who was watching from afar sighed "How could she be so wasted. What if she says something she shouldn’t?"

Li Lingyun held Lin Yan hand’s and said "You also need to go home, let’s get out of here."

Immediately he carried her, Lin Yan immediately shouted "Help, he is taking me away! Save me!"

Li Lingyun carried her to the front of his car and said "Will you stop shouting?"

Lin Yan suddenly became quiet and looked at Li Lingyun as if she was about to cry.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Why did you shout at me?"

Li Lingyun sighed and massage his temple "I didn’t shout at you. I just wanted you to stop shouting. What if people think that I am kidnapping you and they try to separate us because of that."

"But I don’t us to be separated."

"That is why you have to stop shouting and get in the car quietly." Li Lingyun said gently as if he was speaking to a kid.

Lin Yan nodded and entered the car quietly, making Li Lingyun to sighed in relief. He entered the car and drove to Sun Villa.

Li Lingyun carried Lin Yan to their room placed on their bed. He noticed she was staring at him quietly and asked "If you want to say something then say it."

Lin Yan shook her head and said "What if they separate us?"

Li Lingyun looked at Lin Yan for a moment and suddenly smiled. He kissed her forehead before saying "No one is going to separate us. I will never allow that to happen."

"You Promise?"

"I promise. Now go to sleep.

Lin Yan shook her head and said "I’m scared."

"Of what?"

"Of my aunt. What if she finds out I’m drunk and hit me again." Lin Yan asked in a frightened voice.

Li Lingyun frowned and said "Did your aunt hit you often?"

Lin Yan nodded her head and said "She is very scary. I don’t like her. She reminds me of mum."

Li Lingyun carressed her hair and said "Sleep. I am going to stay with you and as long as I’m here, no one will ever hurt you."

Lin Yan smiled and nodded. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

After being sure that she was asleep, Li Lingyun called Lin An and when he the call went through, he heard Lin An saying "I guess you found her."

"Your aunt, where is she?"

"Why? Did Lin Yan say something? Do you want to find her and get justice?" Lin Yan asked in a mocking voice.

"Where is she Lin An?"

Lin An was silent for a moment before saying "She is in her worst nightmare."
