Shen Yi opened her eyes and saw herself in an unfamiliar environment, her hands were attached to a drip and she heard someone calling her name, she turned and saw that it was He Jia before losing her conciousness again.

Few hours later, Shen Yi regain her conciousness and saw He Jia sleeping on a chair that was close to her bed.

As if sensing that Zhou Xi was awake, He Jia slowly opened her eyes and said "You are awake?"

"What happened?" The last thing she remembered was that she was about to jump in front of a moving car. She could not remember anything else apart from that.

"I should be the one asking you what happened?How is it possible that you are pregnant?"

Shen Yi looked at He Jia in shock and asked "What nonesense are you saying? How can I be pregnant?" Even when she slept with Mu Chen he had worn a condom, so she can’t possibly be pregnant.

"Nonesense? You think I’m saying nonesense? Your career has just begun and you are already having a child when you are not even in a relationship. Do you know how much the public will critize you. Who will want to hire a pregnant actress?" He Jia said in anger.

"I want to be alone." Shen Yi suddenly said.

He sighed and said "If you are talking about the fact that the man used a condom then you must know that such method is not one hundred percent safe. There is a possibility that the condom was torn during intercourse, perhaps if you were on the pill then your chances of pregnancy would be close to none."

How could she be so stupid to forget about the pill? How? But it was going to be ok? She still loves Mu Chen so if he is ready to accept this child then, everything is going to be alright.

Shen Yi nodded her head and left the doctor’s office.

Lin Yan smiled and said "I guess we didn’t."

"Why don’t we go tonight, before I become the first lady. After Meng Ziyi drama, I think I need a lot of drink."

Lin Yan chuckled and said "I’m free tonight but I don’t think Lingyun and Meng Zhu would appreciate us going to a bar and probably getting wasted."

"But isn’t that the point." Yao Qi said with a smile.

"Send me the address of the bar and I will see you there." Lin Yan said and just then Li Lingyun entered the room with a frown on his face.

After saying goodbye, Lin Yan ended the call and asked "Is everything alright?."

Li Lingyun walked towards Lin Yan and embraced her tightly before kissing her forehead. "Grandma has agreed to Meng Ziyi wedding with Mu Chen."

Lin Yan raised her brow and asked "She agreed?"

Li Lingyun nodded and said "Although I disapprove but at the end it’s her life. If she thinks Mu Chen can make her happy, then so be it. I’m more worried about Meng Ying, he hasn’t called and he isn’t answering my calls."

Li Lingyun sighed and noticed that Lin Yan was looking at him with a huge smile on her face. "What?"

"You just look so cute worrying about your cousin, it makes me wondered how much you will worry when you get a son."

Li Lingyun laughed softly as he said "Of course I will be worried especially if he ends up having your mischievous attitude." He carresses her cheek gently before holding her in his arms.

Lin Yan really felt like ditching Yao Qi and stay in Li Lingyun arms all day but she knew it would be wrong and it has really been long before she has gotten drunk to the point that she wouldn’t remember her own name.

Shen Yi arrived home and saw Meng Ziyi waiting for her at the front of her door.

She frowned and asked "What are you doing here?"

Meng Ziyi who was already getting annoyed after waiting for so long suddenly smiled when she heard Shen Yi voice.

With a huge smile on her face Meng Ziyi said "I just come to invite you for my wedding."

Shen Yi frowned as she asked "Your wedding? Why do you think I will want to come to your wedding?"

"You still don’t get it do you? Why else will I invite a lowly person like you to my wedding? I want you to come and see with your own eyes how Mu Chen has chosen me over you."

"You are getting married to Mu Chen?" Shen Yi asked with unshed tears on her eyes. She felt as if everything was happening to her at once.

"Not just married." Meng Ziyi placed her hands on her belly as she said "We are also expecting a child real soon, so do me a favor and ensure you never appear in front of Mu Chen again."
