Chapter 92: Worst Timing

After meeting with the Old Man, Lin Yan entered the room that she and Li Lingyun always stay in whenever they visit the old house and saw Li Lingyun sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap.

Li Lingyun looked at Lin Yan and asked "What are you holding?"

Lin Yan smiled as she bought out her two hands that was behind her back. One hand had a bottle of wine while the other held a glass.

Li Lingyun sighed and said "How did you collect that? Grandpa has been reserving that wine for a special occasion."

"Well, he should have hidden it better and besides this is a special occasion, you promise to teach how to hold my liquor or have you forgotten?" Lin Yan said with a mischievous smile on her face.

Li Lingyun could see the mischief in her smiled but he still said "Apart from the fact I will be expecting a video call in a few minutes, this is neither the place or time to teach my wife how to hold her liquor."

Lin Yan walked closer to Li Lingyun until she stood in front of him and said "I know that the walls of this house is sound proof and for your video call, I’m sure Gu Wei can handle it."

Li Lingyun looked at Lin Yan silently for a moment before taking his phone and dialed a number, when the call went through he said "Can we have the meeting tomorrow morning?"

"Something important came up and I won’t be done until after some few hours. Thank you." Li Lingyun hanged up the call and sighed when he saw a beautiful smile on Lin Yan face. He place his phone and laptop aside and pointed to his lap as he said "Come here."

Lin Yan placed the wine and the glass on a table close to the couch and rather than just sitting on his lap, she straddled him and wrapped her hands round his neck.

Li Lingyun smiled at her action and asked "Were you always this naughty?"

Rather than answering, Lin Yan kiss Li Lingyun neck and used her tongue to trace his lips.

Li Lingyun eyes darken and his hand on her waist tighten. He watched her as she used her tongue to lick his lips continuously until she whispered "Has anyone ever told you that you look so sexy when you worked?" Lin Yan asked but before Li Lingyun could even replied she pressed her lips to him and kissed him gently.

Li Lingyun closed his eyes and held her face and was about to deepen the kiss when Lin Yan suddenly stopped and said "We should probably begin our lesson, but I want to kiss you again."

Li Lingyun smiled at Lin Yan boldness and said "We can do both."

"Really?"

Li Lingyun chuckled and nodded. He took the wine on the table and opened it. He turned the wine in the glass and put the glass on Lin Yan lips as he said "Sip a little."

Lin Yan sipped a little of the wine and cringe. "Why is the alcohol so strong."

"You didn’t check the alcohol percentage?"

"Well, the wine was looking nice so I took it and forgot to check the alcoholic percentage of it."

Li Lingyun laughed softly and bought the glass to his lip. He took a sip of the wine and said "It isn’t bad. This is what you call a good wine."

After saying that, Li Lingyun noticed that Lin Yan was just staring at him with a smile and asked "What?"

"You become even more handsome when you laughed."

Li Lingyun smiled and asked "What’s with the sudden compliment, are you trying to seduce me?"

"Is it working?"

"More than you think."

Lin Yan smiled. Today when old Master Li asked her if she loved him, she had said yes with no hesitation, and apart from that, the old man also made her to realize how easily Li Lingyun could get hurt. She didn’t want that, if possible she will try to protect him from anyone or anything that could hurt him.

"What did you and my grandpa talked about?" Li Lingyun suddenly asked.

Lin Yan wasn’t even surprised he knew that she had talked to his grandfather. "It’s a secret, however I did make a promise to him."

Li Lingyun raised his brow in surprised and asked "A promise?"

Lin Yan nodded and said "I promised to protect you."

"From?"

"From hurt." Lin Yan said with a smile on her face.

Li Lingyun was speechless for a moment, with the way his heart was racing he could swear that it was about to burst. Without saying anything Li Lingyun brought the glass to his lips and drank a little bit of it before pressing his lips to Lin Yan.

Lin Yan who was suddenly kissed felt the alcohol that was on Li Lingyun mouth into hers, drinking the wine directly from Li Lingyun mouth and kissing him at the same time was a feeling she could not explain, to her it was beyond amazing. It wasn’t her first time kissing Li Lingyun but to her, this kiss was different. It could be the alcohol but she felt like Li Lingyun was expressing his feelings for her through this kiss and she wanted more, more of the kiss, more of him.

Lin Yan panted after the long kiss and saw a smirk on Li Lingyun face as he said "I told you we could do both."

"Let’s not stop." Lin Yan suddenly blurted and her cheek became red when she realized what she had said.

Li Lingyun smiled and kissed her hand as he whispered "I wasn’t planning to."

Li Lingyun kissed her again and carry her towards the bed without breaking the kiss. His lips moved from her lips to her neck as he planned to kiss every inch of her body and that was exactly what he did before returning back to her lips.

Lin Yan separated her lips from his and pulled her gown. She wasn’t wearing any bra and was just on her underwear.

Li Lingyun eyes darken with lust as he looked at her and kissed her lips briefly, he was about to pulled off his shirt when he heard a loud voice shouting "Daddy!!"

Both Lin Yan and Li Lingyun froze for a moment before hearing her again shouting "Daddy!!"

Li Lingyun sighed and said "That girl has the worst timing."

He looked at Lin Yan and smiled when he saw her red cheek. He covered her with a blanket and said "I will go take care of her and see what she needs." He kissed her on her lips again before leaving.

Lin Yan on the other hand felt so embarrassed, she did not believe she became so bold to the point of pulling off her clothes by herself. She laid on the bed with the blanket and close her eyes hoping to forget her embarrassment.

After dealing with Li Xiao, Li Lingyun came back to the room and smiled when he saw Lin Yan sleeping. He kissed her forehead and said "I love you."
