Lin Yan woke up and heard Li Lingyun saying "Drink this, it will make you feel better."

She turned to look at Li Lingyun who was handing a cup of coffee to her and asked "Will it also make me forget about last night?"

"But I don’t want to forget about last night." Li Lingyun said with a smile.

Lin Yan scoffed and collected the coffee, she drank it and cringe "Why is it so bitter?"

"The more bitter it is, the more effective. So drink all of it."

Lin Yan rolled her eyes and gave the coffee back to Li Lingyun. "If it is effective then you should drink it. Listen to me Li Lingyun, I like my coffee to be very milky with a lot of sugar. So make me another one."

Lin Yan lie down on her bed again after giving her orders and covered herself with blanket, when she realized something, last night she slept naked so while was she wearing a shirt.

Li Lingyun who saw her looking at the shirt said "I worn it on you so you won’t catch a cold."

Her cheek became red again when she heard Li Lingyun explanation and covered her face with the blanket.

Li Lingyun chuckled at her actions and said "It’s already 8am, you shouldn’t be late for breakfast. In the meantime I will get Li Xiao ready."

Seeing that she was still under her blanket and refused to reply him, Li Lingyun drag the blanket away despite her protest and carried her to the bathroom.

Li Lingyun smile increased when Lin Yan glared at him and said "Get ready on time." He wanted to kiss her lips when Lin Yan turned her face. Rather than getting discouraged, Li Lingyun held her face and kiss her lips slowly. He looked at Lin Yan and saw her still glaring at him, he pecked her lips one more time and said "Stop glaring and get ready."

At the dining table, Lin Yan kept stabbing her food and glaring at Li Lingyun whenever he put food on her plate. Was he trying to make her fat?

Old Master Li looked at his butler and nodded to him, after that, the butler left and came back few minutes later handing a box to Old Master Li.

Every one attention was drawn to the box, wondering what was in it and who it was for. Old Master Li cleared his throat once again and said "Fang Mei come here."

Fang Mei eyes glint in excitement as she stood up from her seat and immediately ran to meet the old man.

Old Master Li smiled when Fang Mei ran to him, he opened the box and brought out a beautiful diamond necklace. He gave to her and said "Grandpa bought this for you. Do you like it?"

Fang Mei nodded and said "I love it grandpa."

Old Master Li gave the necklace to his butler who collected it and worn it on Fang Mei neck.

Fang Mei happily ran back to her seat and looked at Li Xiao thinking that she would be looking at her with jealousy but rather than looking at her, Li Xiao was instead playing with her food.

The dinning table became quiet for a moment until a phone rang disturbing the silence.

"Didn’t I say that all phones should be turned off at the dinning table." Old Master Li said with a frown.

Li Lingyun brought out his phone from his pocket and ended the call as he said "I’m sorry grandpa."

Before he could even placed his phone on the table, it rang again. Li Lingyun looked at his grandfather and said "I really need to take this call. It’s Meng Zhu and he won’t call me twice if it wasn’t important."

Old Master Li sighed and nodded, although he has never said it but he also saw Meng Zhu as his grandson and that was why he gave the siblings right to call him grandpa.

Li Lingyun answered the call and suddenly frowned.

Old Master Li scoffed and said "I always knew that girl was loose one."

"Not now grandpa." Li Lingyun said coldly.

Old Master Li ignored his cold tone and asked "So who is the father of her bastard?"

"She refused to say his name until we promise to allow her get married to him."

"Then he must be someone of a low background." Old Master Li looked at Li Xiao and said "Li Xiao, never marry someone that isn’t from your level, it will only put you down."

Li Xiao blink her eyes in confusion because she did not really understand what her grandfather was saying, she just nodded her head with a serious expression and went back to playing with her food.

Lin Yan on the other hand rolled her eyes and looked at Li Lingyun as she said "Since you are going to the Meng mansion, I will come with you."

"Are you sure about that?"

Lin Yan nodded with a smile.

"Li Xiao is staying. There is no way I’m letting my granddaughter be close to that girl that can’t even control herself. Who knows the bad things she will teach her."

Li Lingyun sighed and said "Don’t say such things about Ziyi, she is still young."

"Well you are lucky Meng Ying is a boy, if he was a girl who knows what he would have learnt from that girl."

Li Lingyun stood up while holding Lin Yan hand’s and said "We should leave now."

Li Lingyun walked up to Li Xiao and kiss her forehead as he said "Stay with Grandpa for a while, I will back real soon."

Li Xiao nodded and kissed her dad cheek.

Lin Yan kissed Li Xiao cheek and use her teeth to playfully bite it, which made Li Xiao to giggled.

Li Xiao kissed her mother back.

Fang Mei watched them with envy in her eyes because her mother has been distant with her lately.

Fang Min on the other hand was angry that Shen Yi could smile after killing her baby. It was better this way, the more she love her child, the more painful it will be when Li Xiao is taken away from her forever.
