Li Lingyun arrived at Si Yan Villa and immediately entered the house. He saw Si Yan drinking at the small bar in his living room and asked "Where is Li Xiao?"

Si Yan finished the whole drink poured on his glass before saying "She is in her playroom."

Li Lingyun frowned when he saw Si Yan pouring another drink in his glass and filling it to the brim, he was about to drink it when Li Lingyun took the glass from him and threw the content on the floor "Have you lost your mind? What will you say if she were to see you like this?"

Si Yan looked at Li Lingyun and said "I need to calm my nerves before I even see her. I have never been this terrified before not even when we were kidnapped. The fact that I could have lose her if she hadn’t stabbed her that girl terrifies me."

"It was a very strange girl who had a very bright smile." Lin An said as he continued to stare at the flowers.

"You hardly compliment a girl. So do you like the flowers or you like the girl?" Lin Yan asked with a smile.

At that question, Lin An turned his head to looked at his sister and just smiled.

"You are not answering, so it means you like the girl! What’s her name?"

"Even you don’t believe what you just said." Lin An finally replied.

"You say it as if it is impossible for you to love someone or of someone to love you?"

"Someone to love me? Will there really be someone like you, who will love me despite everything? I doubt that."

Lin Yan walked towards her brother and held his hands as he said "I’m sure you will definitely meet that person who will love you more than you love yourself. I’m sure of it."

"What about you, do you love me more than yourself?"

"I love you Lin An, it is something you should never doubt."

"Then if me and Li Xiao were drowning, who will you save?"

"Of course I will save Li Xiao, but I will die with you, because Lin Yan cannot live without her Lin An. We promise to be together forever and nothing will change that." Lin Yan said with a bright smile on her face.

Lin An on the other hand felt contented, as long as his sister was happy then he was also happy.

Zhou Xi stood in front of Sun Villa wondering if she should knock or not. What was she doing here? She has never once cared for Li Xiao so why was she afraid that Li Xiao would be among those children who were shot? After taking a deep breath, she thought to herself that it was just her conscience and nothing else. With that in mind, Zhou Xi knocked on the door and when it was opened, she saw a woman in her sixties giving her a confused look before asking "Who are you?"

Zhou Xi smiled politely and said "I’m Zhou Xi, I worked with Mr Li." Looking at the woman again, Shen Yi recognized her to be Nanny Bao, the woman who raised Li Lingyun.

"Oh, Master Li isn’t around now but since you work with him then you can wait for him inside."

With a smile still on her face Shen Yi asked "Can I?"

Nanny Bao smiled lovely and said "Of course you can." She opened the door wildly for Zhou Xi to entered inside.

When Shen Yi entered the house, she felt a little unfamiliar with it. She has always locked herself in her room and whenever she came out, it was meet Mu Chen and if Li Xiao were to see and to ask for her attention she would ignored the little girl and now here she was wondering if that little girl was alive or if she was fighting for her life. She felt like an hypocrite but it didn’t matter, whatever anyone says she was still Li Xiao’s mother, she was the one who went through the pain of labor to give birth to her and therefore it was only right for her to know if the girl was dead or not.

"Thank you." Shen Yi said as Nanny Bao handed a cup of coffee to her.

"I should probably inform Master Li that you are waiting for him."

"No, there is no need. I’m sure he must be busy especially after what happened at Li Xiao school."

Nanny Bao frowned and asked "Li Xiao school? But little Miss Li doesn’t go to school."

Shen Yi was confused, He Jia clearly told her that there were pictures of Li Lingyun picking Li Xiao from school. "I thought Li Xiao was going to the Imperial Academy."

"Oh, she was schooling there before but due to an incident she stopped and now little Xiao doesn’t go to school, but I hoped Master Li allows her to go back." After thinking of something, Nanny Bao frowned and asked "But what happened at Li Xiao former school?"

"There was a shoot out at the Imperial Academy but I’m glad Li Xiao is alright."

Nanny Bao gasped in horror. A shoot out? She wondered if Li Lingyun really knows about this.

Shen Yi sighed in relief when she heard Li Xiao was alright and stood up as she said "I will take my leave now. Thank you for the coffee."

"Will you no longer wait for Master Li, I can give him a call."

"There is no need for that. I’m sure he must be busy, I just came with the hope that he might be home. Thank you once again." Shen Yi said politely and left.

As Shen Yi was leaving Sun Villa, she looked back at the house and wondered what kind of incident would make Li Xiao to stopped school. Anyway it was for the best, thanks to that incident, Li Xiao was fine.

Now she can continue her life with Mu Chen and when her career becomes stable, they will get married and have kids. Yes, it was best if she forgets about Li Xiao completely, after all she has the Meng and the Li family to take care of her. Thinking of it now, she regretted coming here. Whatever happens to Li Xiao should no longer be her business, she was now Zhou Xi and very soon she will not only be a celebrity but also the wife of Mu Chen.
