Si Yan putted Li Xiao down and whispered softly "Would you like to see the new toys I got for you?"

At the mention of new toys Li Xiao nodded her head ecstatically and said "Yes."

Si Yan called one of his nannies to take Li Xiao away and after that he placed his phone backed in his ears and asked "Does Li Lingyun know?"

"Well, I haven’t told him. I couldn’t even bring myself to tell him, the thought that he might have lost his daughter would drive him crazy."

"But knowing how efficient Gu Wei is, I’m sure he knows already."

"Si Yan, he might end up sending Li Xiao abroad for her schooling, will you ok with that?" Meng Zhu asked. He knew how Si Yan felt towards Li Xiao, that girl has been the only reason for him living, if Li Lingyun were to send her away, he wondered what kind of monster his friend would be.

Si Yan was quiet for a moment before saying "If he decides to send Li Xiao abroad then I will go with her. Li Xiao might become scared if she is all alone and I have to protect her."

Gu Wei sighed when he stood in front of Li Lingyun office door, how was he even going to deliver such news? After making up his mind, he knocked on the door and entered.

Li Lingyun who was already ready to leave his office saw the worry in Gu Wei face and asked "What happened now?"

"I..." Gu Wei started, he could not even bring himself to complete his sentence but he knew this was part of his job "There was a shoot out at the Imperial Academy? Most of Li Xiao former classmates are either dead or seriously injured."

Li Lingyun looked at Gu Wei calmly and said "That was joke right, there is no way that a shoot out could have happened in a school Li Xiao would have been at this moment if not for that incident."

"The new director of the Academy was involved in shading dealings, the shoot out was a little warning for him." Gu Wei replied professionally but deep within he was so glad nothing happened to Iittle Xiao, however what bothers him right now is how calm Li Lingyun looked. To be honest, he prefers a angry Li Lingyun to a calm one, he wondered what was going on in his boss mind until he heard him suddenly asked "What about Fang Mei?"

"Miss Mei seem traumatized but she is unharmed."

Li Lingyun nodded and said "Clear my schedule for the week. If anything about the project comes up, just send the file to my house. You are dismissed, I will be driving today."

"Have you heard the news?" He Jia asked Zhou Xi as she passed her a cup of coffee after her shoot.

Zhou Xi took the cup with a smile and asked "What news?"

"There was a shoot out at a school named Imperial Academy, the school is known as the best school in country D, it’s were all the rich people send their kids."

Zhou Xi drank her coffee as if she did not care about the news and said "Since it is the best school in country D then I’m sure the kids are fine."

He Jia shook her head and said "Apparently, the bad people were able to get into the school, they entered a class and killed the entire kids in that class. I just hope Li Lingyun child is alright."

Shen Yi froze, with fear on her face as she asked "What do you mean by you hope Li Lingyun child is alright?"

He Jia was surprised with the look on Zhou Xi face and asked "Didn’t you know that Li Lingyun child goes to that school. There was even a picture of Li Lingyun hugging Li Xiao in front of the school gate, but the news was immediately taken down before it circulated, only a few saw the picture and I’m so lucky to be among them."

He Jia who was speaking in excitement was suddenly surprised when Zhou Xi grabbed her arm and said "Are you saying that there was a shoot out in the school Li Xiao was attending?"

Lin An smile became cold as he said "I will kill you before that happens."

Lin An stood up gently from the hospital bed and said "No one will want a murderer as a daughter-in-law, would they?"

"Lin An! You are a monster." Zi Xia said as she stared at him with fear on her face.

"Tell me something Zi Xia, do you still wish to get pregnant with my child?"
