Lin Yan arrived at Sun Villa by 9pm, she felt so exhausted that the only thing she could think about was lying on her bed.

"Ma, I’m so glad you are back. I have already made dinner. Should I warned it up for you?" Nanny Bao said when she saw Shen Yi coming in.

Lin Yan looked around the quiet house and asked "Is Li Xiao sleeping?"

"Little Miss isn’t back yet." Nanny Bao replied.

Lin Yan frowned and asked "Is she still with Si Yan? It’s already two days, she is supposed to be back today. What about Li Lingyun? Isn’t he still back?"

"No, Master Li isn’t back yet but someone dropped by to ask of him."

"Someone dropped by? Who was that?"

"It was a young woman, she came here asking for Master Li."

Lin Yan frowned. A young woman? Could it be Su Yin? She looked at Nanny Bao and asked "What was her name?"

"She said they were business partners and she was even worried about Little Miss, I guess she is a good person."

Lin Yan frowned and asked "Why would she be worried about Li Xiao?"

After Nanny Bao left, Lin Yan let out a sighed of relief that she did not even realize she was holding. The real reason she interrupted Nanny Bao was because she didn’t want her to say anything about Zhou Xi visit.

If Zhou Xi and Shen Yi are the same person then Li Lingyun must never find out about it. Even though he says he loved her, nothing will change the fact that he was married to Shen Yi for three years and also she will always be Li Xiao birth mother.

Deep in her thoughts she did not realize when she was engulfed in a warm embrace.

"Are you alright?" She heard Li Lingyun asking.

Lin Yan smiled and wrapped her hands around him. His embrace felt so warm and comfortable that she could not help but snuggled her face on his chest.

Li Lingyun chuckled at her actions and held her tightly. He was amused at how similar she was to Li Xiao.

Lin Yan separated herself from him silently, she tiptoed and peck him on his lips "I’m fine. I was just shocked about the news and I missed Li Xiao as well."

Li Lingyun brush a strand of her hair as he said "Are you sure that’s all?"

Lin Yan nodded with a smile "That’s all." She was not going to give up. Li Lingyun was hers and she was not going to lose him to anyone not even to Shen Yi. To her, Shen Yi did not deserve them, she didn’t deserve a man like Li Lingyun or a daughter like Li Xiao, she was going to fight for them no matter what.

Li Lingyun kissed her forehead and said "Then should we take a relaxing bath together?"

Lin Yan cheek became flustered as she asked "Should we?"

Li Jun felt as his heart ached for his daughter. His little girl was traumatized, he felt helpless and then he heard Fang Min saying "At least all this would have been tolerable if Li Xiao was affected at all."

Li Jun frowned at her words and asked "What do you mean by that?"

"Don’t you find it strange that all these happened just two weeks after Li Xiao left. First they kicked your mother out of the Li mansion and now Fang Mei is traumatized, why are they so lucky?"

"You are over thinking this. Whatever happened to our daughter was an accident, Li Xiao had nothing to do with it."

"Why do you defend that girl? Whenever I speak bad of her, you always defend her, why? Do you forget that she is Li Lingyun daughter? The one who will one day fight with you for the inheritance?"

"Next time never ask a question you do not wish to know the answer to. I know you very well Fang Min, if you touch Li Xiao then I will kill you." Li Jun said coldly and walked towards his daughter’s room.

Fang Min clenched her fist and thought to herself, this wasn’t fair, she have to do something about it, the sooner the better. At this point she didn’t care about the consequences, she need to make Shen Yi feel her pain and the only way to do so is by making her lose Li Xiao forever.
