"Are you feeling better now? Does anywhere hurt?"

Lin An smiled as he looked at his sister and said "I told you I’m fine. It was just a minor accident."

It has already been two day since Lin An accident and thanks to Li Lingyun blood, Lin An was able to recover faster.

"Was it really an accident?"

Before Lin An could answer, Li Lingyun opened the door and came in, he wrapped his hand round Lin Yan shoulder and said "The doctor said you still need to stay for two or three days before he can discharge you."

"Come to think of it, i never asked, but how did you know that Lin An was in an accident?" Lin Yan asked as she faced Li Lingyun.

"He called me." Li Lingyun replied with no expression on his face.

"You called him?" Lin Yan asked as she faced Lin An.

"Well I noticed that some men were following me and I had a bad feeling it wouldn’t end well so I called my brother-in-law just in case."

Li Lingyun frowned when he heard Lin An called him his brother-in-law.

"Someone was following you? Could it have been Ji Gua? Have you still not end things with Zi Xia?"

"Zi Xia? Ji Gua wife?" Li Lingyun looked at Lin An in disbelief and asked "Are you seriously having an affair with a married woman? If I knew that was the case then I would have never bothered saving you."

"How can you say such harsh words to your brother-in-law?" Lin An replied with a teasing smile on his face.

"Will you stop calling yourself my brother-in-law, it’s irritating."

"End whatever you have with her. I don’t like the fact that you almost got killed because of her, it’s not like you are even in love with her." Lin Yan said with concern all over her face.

"Ji Gua is not only a businessan but he is also involved in the dark world, among all the women in the world why his wife?" Li Lingyun asked. He could not understand why Lin An was having an affair with Zi Xia.

"As if having a sister was not enough, I had to go get a nagging brother-in-law as well."

Li Lingyun scoffed and said "If you find me that bad then next time you are dying ensure you don’t call my number."

He looked at Lin Yan and said "I have to go back to the company, I haven’t been there for two days."

Lin Yan was about to nod when she remembered those photos that was sent to her, she has still not discuss it with him, she held him his hand and shook her head.

Li Lingyun was amused by her behavior, he placed his hand on her cheek and kissed her softly "I’ll be back, just give me two hours."

Lin Yan nodded and said "Ok."

After Li Lingyun left, Lin An looked at his sister and asked "Why haven’t you still told him about those pictures? Are you afraid that he might actually be having an affair?"

"I know he isn’t having an affair but the SC project is a huge one, it’s worth two billon yuan. If I ask Li Lingyun to stopped working with Su Yin, I know he would and it would cause damage to the company. What about you? Why haven’t you still end things with Zi Xia?"

Lin An sighed and closed his eyes for a moment before saying "She said she has a video."

"What video?"

"She has a video of the day you tried to slit your wrist. If she were to release that video the whole world will stop criticizing Li Jun and will even begin to sympathize with him for being able to live with a crazy woman for three years. They will bless his relationship with Fang Min and I can’t let that happen."

Lin An opened his eyes and saw his sister frozen on her spot. He stood up from his bed and ignored the pain in his body as he walked towards her. He embraced her gently and whispered "No one knows what happened that day but us, I have confirmed it and ensure that no one will ever know. I promise I will get rid of both the video and Zi Xia."

As soon as Li Lingyun entered his office he saw Su Yin waiting for him.

"Why are you here?"

"I waited for you but you never came."

"I never told you I would come, you knew that day was Shen Yi inauguration ceremony yet you schedule a meeting for that day and at the hotel of one of her competitors."

"It was obvious you were ignoring her."

"To whom was it obvious to? To you? Su Yin, get rid of every lingering feelings you have for me because once this project is done, I want nothing to do with you again." Li Lingyun replied coldly.

"Do you think she is worth it? I must admit she was able to do what no woman could ever do after all she was able to climb your...."

"Watch your words, whatever you are about to say next ensure it no way disrespect my wife if not I will put an end to this whole thing."

"You wouldn’t. The Li corporation would lose a lot of money if you do that." Su Yin said confidently.

"And that’s where you are wrong. My company does not need the SC project to thrive and even if they lose money I will handle it."

"And one more thing Su Yin the next you drug my drink again, I am going to kill you. You know I’m capable of doing that and more, now stop testing my patience and get out of sight."

After Su Yin left, Li Lingyun was massaging his temple when he got a call from Gu Wei.

"What is it?"

"Mr Ji is here to see you. Should I let him in or not."

Ji Gua must have known that he was the one who saved Lin An and that was why he was here, how troublesome.

"Send him in."
