Lin Yan stared at her phone and wondered if she should go. The photos she received were of Su Yin and Li Lingyun entering the same hotel room together, the name and even the room of the hotel were sent to her.

She knew it was a trap but she still could not help but wonder if Li Lingyun was really with Su Yin.

Lin Yan decided to check it out, she really wanted to know if Li Lingyun and Su Yin were together right now.

Rather than taking her car, Lin Yan took a taxi and arrived at the hotel that was sent to her. She stood in front of the hotel wondering what she would do if Li Lingyun was really there with Su Yin.

As she was about to enter the hotel, she received a call from an unknown number. She pressed the ignored button and entered the hotel when her phone rang again. Who was calling her?

Lin Yan decided to answered the call and said "Who is this?"

"I’m calling from D General Hospital, are you related to Mr Lin, you were in his emergency contact."

Lin Yan had a bad feeling about this call, she took in a deep breath and said "Yes, I know him. Why? Is anything wrong."

"Mr Lin was involved in an accident and is in a serious condition."

"What? I’ll be right there. Please take care if him and don’t let anything happen to him." Lin Yan said. No wonder he was not answering her calls.

Lin Yan immediately left the hotel and hail a taxi that will take her to the hospital.

"Has she arrived at the hotel?" Wang Hua asked in excitement. She had paid someone to follow Shen Yi.

"Yes she did but she left immediately."

Wang Hua frowned as she asked "What do you mean by she left? Are you following her right now?"

"Yes ma, I am"

"Good. Find out where she is going to and get back to me."

"Yes ma."

"The plan failed again, why!" Fang screamed after listening to Wang Hua call.

"She was by the hotel and even enter it but she just suddenly left after receiving a call."

"Is Shen Yi lucky or what! The first time it was Si Yan who defended her and now she received a mysterious call." Fang Min said in anger.

Why doesn’t things go her way. Even after the knife incident Li Xiao wasn’t sent abroad and now she has miss her chance to humiliate that wretched woman.

"How many times have I told you to relax, not for yourself but for my grandson. The man I hired is following her now and definitely we will be able to know what is it that was so important to make her everything for it."

"Is Lin An here?" Lin Yan asked the receptionist as soon as she entered the hospital.

"Wait, let me check."

"Mr Lin is in the VIP ward."

"VIP?" Lin An asked with a frown.

"Mrs Li, you are here as well."

Lin Yan turned when she heard a familiar voice and said "Gu Wei, what are you doing here?"

"Lin Yan brother had an accident so Mr Li bought him to the hospital, sadly he lost too much blood and his blood type is rare."

"Doesn’t the hospital have blood?" Lin Yan asked anxiously.

What was happening? why is Mrs Li so concerned about that man?

Gu Wei cleared his throat and said "They did but it’s finished. Luckily boss and Lin An share the same blood type so right now boss is donating blood for him."

"You mean that Li Lingyun is here?"

"Yes, boss is here. He really wanted to attend your event but for some reason he stayed in the hospital to help Lin An instead."

Hold on! If Li Lingyun had been in the hospital since, then who was in the hotel with Su Yin.

"Can you take me to where Lin An is?" Lin Yan asked, when she saw Gu Wei confused look she added "He once saved my life so I just want to know how he is doing."

Gu Wei nodded his head in understanding and said "Of course, let me show you his ward."

Lin Yan followed Gu Wei and arrived at Lin Yan ward. Because of his serious condition, she could only look at him through the door.

It was heartbreaking seeing her brother lying unconscious. How did he get into an accident? Her brother has always been a careful driver so how did this happen? Perhaps someone was responsible for this, but who?

Gu Wei looked at Shen Yi and wondered why it feels like she was about to cry. Was her relationship with Lin An that deep?

Lin Yan turned to Gu Wei and asked "Where is Li Lingyun?"

"Should I take you to him?" Gu Wei asked in excitement. He was beginning to think that Shen Yi would not ask about the boss.

Lin Yan stood in front of the door wondering if she should knock, when the door suddenly opened.

The nurse came out with two bags of blood and when she saw Lin Yan she said "The patient needs a lot of rest and nutritious food so ensure you take care of him."

Lin Yan nodded and took him a deep breath before entering inside.

Li Lingyun lie on the bed with his eyes close making Lin Yan to wonder why if he was already asleep.

She walked closer to him and sighed, she hasn’t been this close to him for two weeks now, his eyes looked so tired and it appears he has lost weight too. How was he able to donate two bags of blood when he looks like this. Perhaps she should asked him about the pictures another day.

Lin Yan was about to walk away when she felt a strong grip on her wrist.

"Stay." Li Lingyun said as he opened his eyes.

"I thought you were sleeping." Lin Yan replied softly.

"Stay with me." Li Lingyun said weakly

Lin Yan nodded and was about to sit beside him when Li Lingyun shift to give her space.

Lin Yan looked at the space and asked "You want me to lie on the bed with you. Aren’t we arguing?"

Li Lingyun smiled and said "Let take a break arguing then tomorrow let’s resolve it."

Why does he have to be the one with a say. Does he think he can ignored her when he feels like and return to her whenever he wants. But she couldn’t even argue with him if she wants to, it was obvious he was very tired, it was as if he hasn’t slept for days. Perhaps they should take a break.

With that thought, Lin Yan removed her shoes and laid on the bed, she looked at Li Lingyun and asked "Are you comfortable?"

"Yes, I’m fine." Li Lingyun replied as he closed his eyes again.

He wrapped his hands around Lin Yan waist and bought her closer to him.

Lin Yan who was motionless, suddenly raised her hand to carress his hair and that was how they both fell asleep in each other’s arm.
