Li Lingyun frowned when he saw Shen Yi smiling and said "May I ask the reason for the smile. Do you even realize what could have happened to you today?"

"I’m fine and nothing happened, there is no need for you to be so worried. By the way, who do you think would have tampered with my brakes?"

Li Lingyun eyes were filled with muderous intent when he said "I’m sure it was Long Tian. First he tried to harm Li Xiao and then you. But don’t worry I will take care of him."

Lin Yan nodded and asked "When can I be discharged?"

"You have to spend the night here." Li Lingyun said.

Lin Yan sighed sadly. She really did not want to stay in the hospital but perhaps this was the price to be paid for her actions. At least the plan worked and her brother would definitely be able to save his company. With Li Lingyun as his investor, no one will ever shut their door on him again. But why does she feel bad? She felt as if she has somehow exploited Li Lingyun feelings for her, like she had taken advantage of him and it made her feel guilty. But it doesn’t matter, nothing matters except for her brother, though her actions were reckless but she would do it again if it ensure Lin An happiness. She still remember how many sleepless nights he had just to make the company grow, she would never allow him to lose anything he cherish.

If only she knew that Lin An cherish nothing and no one more than her.

"What are thinking about?"

"About how boring it is to be alone here."

"I will stay with you."

Lin Yan eyes lit up and asked "Will you really stay with me?"

Li Lingyun nodded and said "I will stay with you and besides Li Xiao is going to spend the entire day at Si Yan’s and he might not bring her back till the day after tomorrow."

Lin Yan frowned at that, she did not want her daughter to be with that rude man, who knows what she might learn from him.

Li Lingyun chuckled when he saw Shen Yi frown, he knew the reason behind that frown and said "Si Yan will take care of her, of course he would spoil her more than she should be spoilt, but the first day she is back, her mouth will be filled with nothing but her adventure with her uncle Si. Now sleep, I’m sure your head is still hurting"

Lin Yan closed her eyes and opened them again and asked"Will you be there when I wake up?"

"I can’t guarantee it but when you wake up you won’t be alone."

Not alone? Those words bought warmth into her heart. Alone, that was what she felt when she woke up in another body.

Li Lingyun bend forward and kissed her on her forehead as he whispered to her "Sleep, I will be right here."

Closing her eyes, she felt safe, a surprising feeling she has never felt with anyone apart from Lin An, not even for Li Jun has she felt safe. She has always thought it was because she could not give him a child but now she wondered if it was something else.

"Can you tell the gender of the baby?" Fang Min asked. She had come to the hospital for her check up so she decided to also check the gender of her child. She was sure it was a boy but she still needed to check it.

Relief wash over her when she heard the doctor saying "It’s a boy."

Fang Min smiled and before she could express her excitement she saw a frown on the doctor’s face and asked "What happened? Is everything alright?"

The doctor sighed and said "I will like to talk to you in my office."

After getting dressed, Fang Min went to the doctor office and saw him looking over a document and asked "You wanted to see me, I hope their is no problem with my baby."

"Miss Fang , I’m sorry to say but there is a fifty percent possibility that your child will be a defected one."

"What? That’s impossible, I have been very careful with my baby."

"Your blood test results are out and I found a strong anti depressant drug in it. A drug pregnant women shouldn’t take."

"I was assured that it would be harmless to my baby."

"Then you could have consulted me." Dr.Jie said.

How can her kid be defected, no, that shouldn’t be possible. Her son is supposed to be the heir to the Li family, how can it be defected. If her father finds out about it then he would kill her, especially if he finds out that it happened because of the drugs she was taking.

No, no one must find out. She looked at the doctor and said "You said that it was a fifty percent possibility right?"

The doctor nodded and said "Throw away those depressant medicine you have been taking if you still want to give birth to this baby. Never miss your appointment and please avoid any stress."

Fang Min bought out a bundle of cash from her handbag and dropped it on the doctor’s table as she said "Please don’t tell anyone. Let it just be between you and me."

Dr.Jie collected the money and said "Of course, as a doctor it is my duty to keep matters of my patients confidential."

At The Film Set.

He Jia came to the film set to inform the director that Zhou Xi would not be able to film for some time and told him the reason why?

The director frowned at this and said "She can get some rest but not too much rest. A week is all I can give her."

He Jia nodded and thanked the man. She was about to leave the film set when she heard Meng Ziyi voice asking "That low life didn’t come today. Why? Was she beaten that badly."

He Jia narrowed her eyes and said "How do you know that she was beaten?"

Meng Ziyi proudly walked closer to He Jia whispered "Tell her to stay away from Mu Chen or else something more terrible will happen to her."

He Jia looked at Meng Ziyi with anger in her eyes and said "You were the one who did it. You will surely pay for what you have done to Zhou Xi."

Meng Ziyi scoffed and said "My family practically controls the country, there is nothing a fly like you can actually do to me. Just the way you can’t touch the sky, you can never touch me."

And truly, Meng Ziyi wasn’t afraid of anything, her brother is to become the next president and her cousin Li Lingyun is feared by many in the country and even aboard, there was nothing these low life people can ever do to her.
