Chapter 40: A Crazy Sister.

After Li Lingyun left, Lin Yan got dressed and went to the neighborhood and indeed the people has agreed to accept the compensation and leave the house. Bo Cheng influence on them was indeed amazing. Now the only thing that remained was for her to give the signed documents to Li Lingyun and collect the hotel. It would be fun, collecting the hotel was just the beginning of Wang Hua suffering. She would make sure the woman pay for all those times she has been humiliated.

Before she was done with her business in the neighborhood, it was already noon so she decided to visit her brother.

She knocked on the door and smiled when she saw her brother.

"With the smile on your face, I assume Li Xiao is alright." Lin An said as he allowed his sister to come in.

"She is fine and make me some tea."

Lin An smiled and said "I’ll be right back."

When Lin An left to make her tea, Lin Yan noticed some documents on his table and decided to see what it was about.

Reading through the document, her smiling face was changed to a frown and then she remembered when Li Jun told her that her brother company was going bankrupt, she could not believe that she forgot. How could she have forgotten something so important.

Just then Lin An came out from the kitchen and when he saw the document his sister was holding he sigh and said "You shouldn’t worry about it, I will fix it."

"Why didn’t you tell me?"

"Because I didn’t see the point of telling you that my company was going bankrupt. Lin Yan you died and woke up in another person body do you think that telling you this was the first thought in my mind."

"It doesn’t matter, i can fix this. I have the signatures of the people that stayed in the neighborhood, with this I can have the hotel, with the money I get from the hotel I can save your company."

"Don’t bother."

Lin Yan frowned and asked "Why?"

"Because what my business need are investors and nobody wants to invest with me because i have gone against a member of the Li family."

"You can’t lose your company, I will never allow that. I know how much you love what you do, I will never allow you to lose that. Li Lingyun will be your investor."

"How? How will you make that happen."

Lin Yan smiled and said "It’s something crazy, and you will help me with it."

Lin An looked at his sister, and he knew she indeed was about to do something crazy and the thought of that made him very worried.

When Lin Yan left her brother’s apartment, she looked at her car quietly before entering it. Then she took her car to the mechanic and told the man to tampered with the brakes of the car.

The mechanic looked at her as if she has gone mad but when Lin Yan gave him some money, he decided to keep his thoughts to himself and do as he was told.

When Lin Yan entered the car, she tooked out her phone and call Lin An and said "Listen to me every carefully. I want you to be at the center district within five minutes."

"Why? We just saw each other."

"The brakes to my car, have been tampered with."

"What! Lin Yan have you lost your mind?"

Lin Yan ignored his question and said "So if you don’t want anything to happen to me then be there within five minutes. Take me to the hospital and call Li Lingyun."

"Lin Yan! Lin Yan!" Lin An call out but his sister has already ended the call. He immediately took his car keys and ran out.

He knew what she was trying to do, by saving her, Li Lingyun would be indebted to him and therefore consider to invest in his business. He knew his sister was crazy but he never expected her to have been this crazy. He was scared, what if something happens to her if he came a minute late, that thought made him to drive faster, even beyond the normal speed limit.

Exactly within five minutes, Lin An got to the center district and saw a car that has hit a huge pole. People were gathered there, like bees attracted to honey He immediately went to the spot and he felt his heart dropped when he saw his sister unconscious as blood dripped down her head. He pushed the people away and shouted for them to call an ambulance. It was as if someone has called the ambulance before because within a minute the ambulance arrived and took her away. He followed them. He looked at her unconscious state as the people in the ambulance kept checking on her and then whispered "I will never forgive you for this."

He collected her phone from her pocket and call Li Lingyun.

It hurt. That was the first thought that came to Lin Yan when she regain consciousness. She felt as if her head was pounding and when she managed to open her eyes, she saw Li Lingyun worried face.

"How are you feeling?" Li Lingyun asked when he noticed that she was awake.

"My head hurt. What happened?"

"The brake of your car was tampered with, which made you get into an accident." Li Lingyun said. When Lin An called him and told him Shen Yi was in an accident, he was scared something was going to happen to her and it made him to realize that he didn’t want to lose her, he wanted to try, he wanted to truly give this relationship a chance.

Just then, a knock was heard in the door and it was opened. Lin An came in and made sure Li Lingyun was not looking at him before glaring coldly at Lin Yan.

His expression immediately changed when Li Lingyun turned his way and said "Thank you for saving my wife."

Lin An smiled and said "I didn’t even know she was your wife. I just saw a lady in an accident and saw people gathering her instead of calling an ambulance, so I stepped in. One could say I am just doing my job as a human."

Lin Yan rolled her eyes at his speech.

Li Lingyun nodded and said "I heard your company is at the brink of bankruptcy. If you need my help with anything, just call me." Li Lingyun gave him his card "If you need an investor, then I don’t mind being one."

Lin An shook his head and said "There is no need for you to do this, just because I saved your wife."

"I am indebted to you for that and I do not like owing debt, so accept my offer. Call me when you have decided."

Lin An nodded and turned to Shen Yi and said "I’m glad you are alright."

Lin Yan nodded expressionlessly and said "Thank you for saving you."

Lin An glared at her once more when Li Lingyun wasn’t looking at him before leaving the ward.
