Lin Yan came out from the shower and heard Li Lingyun saying "I will tell her. See you tonight."

Li Lingyun ended the call and saw his wife giving him a curious look. He sighed and asked "Why are you just standing there instead of drying your hair? Don’t you know you could catch a cold."

Li Yan smiled sheepishly and gave him a towel to dry her hair.

Li Lingyun led her to the bed and began drying her hair with the towel.

After biting her lips for a few seconds, Lin Yan asked "Who were you talking to? You mentioned seeing that person tonight."

Li Lingyun chuckled slightly and said "Does being pregnant make you jealous than usual?"

Lin Yan turned to Li Lingyun and glared at him while he laughed. She was about to turn away when he held her face and kissed her softly before letting go.

"Your mum wants to see us. She said she has good news and can’t wait to tell us."

"Why didn’t she just called me?"

"You weren’t answering your phone. I told her we are free tonight and this way we could also tell them of our good news."

Lin Yan placed her hand on her belly and smiled "Are you going to the office now?"

Li Lingyun who has already stopped drying her hair, walk to her front and asked "Do you want me to stay?"

"If I were to ask you to stay, will you stay?"

Li Lingyun smiled and asked again "Do you want me to stay?"

"Yes." Lin Yan answered in a whispered.

Li Lingyun laughed softly and kissed her forehead as he said "Then I will stay."

"Come to the Shen house tonight. I have a little surprise for you." Shen Yi said with a smile while watching her mother going back and forth in the kitchen.

"I do not have time for your nonesense Zhou Xi. What kind of surprised will I be receiving by going to the Shen house? Have you forgotten that the Shen’s are Shen Yi family."

Zhou Xi rolled her eyes over the phone and said "Just come. I assure you Fang Min, you won’t be disappointed."

"I will be there." Fang Min said with a sighed. The only reason for her going was to find out exactly what business a low life like Zhou Xi could have with the Shen family.

Lin An opened the door of his house when he heard a knock and was surprised to see his sister.

"Aren’t you supposed to be at home with your husband."

Lin Yan nodded and said "We were supposed to be together but then he received a call for an important meeting so i let him go. Now will you let me in or do you prefer to talk to your pregnant sister outside."

Lin An raised his brow before opening the door wide enough for her to enter.

"So how was your date?" Lin Yan asked as she sat in the couch.

"What date?"

"The one with Meng Ying friend, what was her name again?"

"Jiang Jingyui."

"Yes, her." Lin Yan said with a smile as she looked at her brother.

Lin An sighed and said "It wasn’t really a date."

"What do you mean?"

"I couldn’t make it because I had a last minute meeting."

"Oh."

"And then I entered my office and saw her there with take out saying we could at least have dinner together." Lin An said with a slight smile on his face.

Lin Yan looked at her brother for a brief moment before saying "You like her."

Lin An shook his head and said "It doesn’t matter."

"It does. Why are you so afraid of liking someone?"

"Not everyone is like Li Lingyun."

"You are afraid she won’t accept you."

"And besides that, I did tell you i do not wish to get involved in a love triangle. I saw the way Meng Ying looked at her. If I were to ever enter a relationship with Jingyui, I know it won’t last and that is why I told her that it would be best for us never to meet again."

"You are being too hard on yourself, no matter what anyone thinks of you, you deserve happiness."

Lin An let out a sad smile and decided to change topic "Tell me, why are dressed up?"

"My mum told Li Lingyun that she has good news and wish to share it with us during dinner. So Li Lingyun and I are going to the Shen house."

"Your mum? Did you just call Shen Mua ’MUM!?"

Lin Yan shrugged and said "She isn’t that bad and believe me she is so much better than that woman who only gave birth to us." Lin Yan noticed the way her brother was looking at her and shouted "What!"

"You are opening your heart to a woman you know nothing about."

"I know she is a nice person."

"I know she seek for her lost child. She may be a nice person but I guarantee that there will come a time were her actions will one day hurt you."

"And if that were to happen I will handle it." Lin Yan said.

Lin An who was about to say something stopped when he heard a knock on the door.

"Are you expecting someone?" Lin Yan asked.

"No." Lin An said as he went forward to open the door.

Lin Yan watched as her brother became still when the door was opened and stood up to check who was there.

"Why are you here?" Lin An suddenly asked after finding his voice.

Jiang Jingyui who thought it was a good idea to surprised Lin An suddenly frowned when she saw Shen Yi standing beside him.

"Why is she here?" Jingyui asked as her gaze focus on Lin An cold face.

"Why are you here?" Lin An asked again.

"Lin An. If you keep this attitude up then she might get the wrong idea." Lin Yan said trying to save the situation.

Lin An turned to looked at his sister and asked "What wrong idea?"

"That the two of you might be having an affair. Ziyi was right, wasn’t she?" Jingyui asked as tears threatened to come from her eyes. She looked at Shen Yi and asked "You are really cheating on Brother Lingyun."
