For some reason Lin An felt every displeased when he saw tears in Jingyui eyes. He took in a deep breath and said "Shen Yi and I are not having an affair."

"Then why is she here?" Jiang Jingyui asked in confusion.

"Apart from the fact that we are friends, she came to deliver a message from Li Lingyun."

Lin Yan stood in front of the Shen mansion and was about to knock when she received another message from Li Lingyun saying he will be there in five minutes. Although they were supposed to come to the Shen Mansiom together, Li Lingyun was held back by another last minute meeting.

With a smile on her face, Lin Yan put her phone back into her purse and knock on the door.

Within few seconds the door was opened by Shen Mua who had a big smile on her face.

"Mum." Lin Yan said with a smile.

Shen Mua immediately welcome Lin Yan by giving her a tight hug before saying "Come in."

Lin Yan entered the house and said "Li Lingyun said you had good news for the both of us and where is dad?"

"Yes, I do have good news and your father is still in his office but he will be here shortly."

"Same with Li Lingyun." Lin Yan said with a smile.

"Then, till they come why don’t you help me out in the kitchen."

"Of course."

Within twenty minutes, Lin Yan and Shen Yi were done with all their kitchen works and have even arranged the dining table.

Lin Yan looked at the two extra plates on the table and asked "Are we expecting someone else?"

Shen Mua smiled brighten as she said "That is the goodnews."

"If you both are done whispering to each other, can we have dinner now."

Li Lingyun smiled and held Lin Yan hand as he said "You said you have goodnews for us. Are you going to tell us after dinner?"

Shen Mua smiled and said "Actually, the good news is we have finally found our long lost daughter."

"Really?" Lin Yan asked in surprised.

Shen Mua nodded and said "Yes. After many years of searching we finally found her and I can’t wait for you to meet her."

"I can’t wait to meet her too." Lin Yan hugged Shen Mua and said "I’m so happy for you Mum."

"Is she here? We will love to meet her." Li Lingyun said.

Shen Mua smiled and nodded and said "She is here." Shen Mua turned to the staircase and said in a loud voice "Honey, you can come out now."

Lin Yan smiled as she turned to the staircase but as soon as she saw the figure who was coming down from the staircase her smile immediately disappeared.
