Chapter 122: It’s Positive.

"You have been awfully quiet." Li Lingyun said as he held Lin Yan hand with one hand while his other hand still held the steering wheel.

Lin Yan looked at Li Lingyun with a smile and said "I’m fine." She turned back to the window and wondered if she was actually pregnant, to be honest, she too have thought about it and that was even the main reason she drank only one glass of wine. The thought of being pregnant both scared and excited her.

As Li Lingyun continued driving, Lin Yan noticed a pharmacy store and looked at Li Lingyun as she said "Can you pull over?"

Li Lingyun just glanced at Lin Yan quietly and pulled over, he watched as she got out of the car saying "I’ll be right back."

Lin Yan walked nervously to the pharmacy store and when she entered she was greeted by a young teenage girl who asked her what she wanted.

"A pregnancy test." Lin Yan replied nervously.

The girl nodded and bought at least five different brand of pregnancy test asking Lin Yan to choose the one she wanted.

Lin Yan just smiled and asked her to wrapped all of them for her. After paying for them, she came out of the pharmacy store and saw Li Lingyun standing in front of her.

She walked closer to him and asked "Why didn’t you wait in the car?"

Li Lingyun looked at the nylon in her hand and asked "What drugs did you buy? Are you feeling extremely unwell, rather than self medicating we should go to the hospital."

Lin Yan held his hand with a smile and said "I’m fine and these are not drugs."

Li Lingyun frowned and asked "Then what are they?"

Lin Yan bit her lips nervously as she said "They are pregnancy test."

Li Lingyun looked at Lin Yan silently for a moment before suddenly hugging her and said "Thank you."

Lin Yan smiled and wrapped her hand around his waist as she said "It’s not confirmed yet, I might not really be pregnant."

Li Lingyun separated himself from Lin Yan and pressed his forehead to hers as he said "Even if the test says negative, I still love you and we can always keep trying, ok?"

Lin Yan nodded and whispered "Ok."

With a smile, Li Lingyun pressed his lips on Lin Yan and kissed her for a few minutes before saying "Let’s go home."

Within twenty minutes, Li Lingyun and Lin Yan both arrived at Sun Villa. When they entered the house, they saw Nanny Bao coming out of Li Xiao room and Li Lingyun asked "Is she asleep?"

Nanny Bao nodded with a smile and asked "Are you and madam hungry, I can make something quick for the both of you."

Lin Yan shook her head and said "There is no need for that, we are fine. You can get some rest Nanny Bao and as always, thank you for taking care of Li Xiao."

Nanny Bao nodded and said "It’s always a pleasure looking after that little angel."

After Nanny Bao went to her room, Li Lingyun and Lin Yan both went to Li Xiao room and saw her sleeping.

Li Lingyun smiled and kissed her forehead. He watched as Li Xiao stirred a little in her sleep and opened her eyes slowly as she said "Daddy."

Li Lingyun smiled and asked "Did I wake you up?"

Li Xiao shook her head slowly and said "I was just having a dream."

Lin Yan smiled as she walked closer to Li Xiao and asked "What did you dream about?"

"I dreamt that I had a little brother but...."

Li Lingyun smiled as he asked "But what?"

"But he would always bully me by taking away my toys and in the dream he was always crying." Li Xiao said with a pout on his face.

Li Lingyun laughed softly and asked "Was your little brother a baby?"

Li Xiao nodded her head.

Li Lingyun pinched her cheek gently and said "Babies always express their need and want through crying since they are unable to speak and I assure you that neither your brother or anyone else will ever bully you."

"Yes Li Xiao. It’s just a dream, your little brother won’t ever bully you but Will you like to have a little brother?" Lin Yan asked nervously.

Li Xiao looked at parents silently for a while before nodding her head as she said "In the dream, my little brother was very cute and adorable. So when am I getting a little brother?" Li Xiao asked excitedly.

Li Lingyun kissed her cheek and said "Soon, very soon but for now, you need to go to sleep."

Lin Yan arranged the blanket and kissed Li Xiao on her forehead and said "Goodnight baby."

Li Xiao kissed Lin Yan on her cheek and said "Good night Mummy."

"Where is my kiss?" Li Lingyun asked with a smile.

Li Xiao kissed her dad in his cheek and said "Goodnight daddy."

After saying their goodnight to Li Xiao they both went into their room. Li Lingyun looked at Lin Yan and asked "Are you ready?"

Lin Yan nodded her head nervously.

Li Lingyun smiled and said "I will be waiting for you right outside the door." He kissed her forehead affectionately and whispered "I love you."

Lin Yan smiled and said "I love you too." She went into the bathroom and closed the door.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Lin Yan placed her hand on her belly and said "I really hope you are there."

She took out one of the pregnancy test and took in a deep breath.

It has been twenty minutes since he has been standing outside the door. Every minutes felt like a year to him. He badly wanted to opened the door to see why it was taking so long, but knowing how she lost her first pregnancy made him to feel that she deserved a moment to herself, however that thought came to an end when Li Lingyun heard Lin Yan sniffing in the bathroom. Was she crying? Could it be that all the test came back negative?

Without another thought, Li Lingyun opened the door and truly he saw Lin Yan crying. He quickly held her in his arms and whispered "It’s alright. We are still young, we can still have as many children as we want. We will keep trying, there is no need cry."

Lin Yan separated herself from Li Lingyun shaking her head and said "That’s not it."

Li Lingyun cleaned her tears with his thumb and said "I know you are sad that it came out negative but we still have Li Xiao and in the future we are going to have lot of kids, as many as you want. So please don’t cry."

Lin Yan laughed softly with the tears in her eyes and said "It’s positive."

"I know....." Li Lingyun who wanted to continuing with trying to comfort her stopped and asked "It’s positive?"

Lin Yan nodded with a smile.

Li Lingyun gave Lin Yan a confused look as he asked "If it was positive then why were you crying?"

Lin Yan laughed and said "I don’t know. I just felt overwhelmed and before I knew it the tears just kept coming and I couldn’t help it."

Li Lingyun laughed and hugged Lin Yan tightly as he said "We are going to have baby. Thank you, thank you, thank you." He held her cheek and kissed her lips as he whispered "I love you, I love you so much."

Lin Yan giggled as Li Lingyun started kissing everywhere in her face and said "I love you too."

Li Lingyun pressed his forehead to hers and sighed as he asked "Do you think it will be a boy like in Li Xiao dream?"

Lin Yan smiled and said "I hope so. Having an adorable baby boy that looks just like you will make anyone’s day."

As if remembering something, Li Lingyun immediately separated himself from Lin Yan and asked "You drank. At the party you drank."

"I know, but it was just one glass. I’m sure everything is ok." Lin Yan said. She could see the concern in his eyes as he looked at her.

"The Imperial hospital has the best doctors in country D, we should see one tomorrow."

Lin Yan smiled and said "Ok."

Li Lingyun laughed and hugged her with no intention of ever letting her go.

Zhou Xi entered her apartment and sighed when she saw the emptiness in it. Ever since her meeting with the Shaman she has been feeling unease. Knowing that an unknown woman was going to give her husband a child and there was nothing she could do about it made her so angry. At least she was getting popular by the day, not only was she an actress she has now become an ambassador to so many top brand and her fans and followers just keep increasing. Seeing her fame and the achievement of her dreams made her satisfied but not happy. She would only be happy once everything is back to it’s place. When she is back to her body, when Li Lingyun and her daughter are back to her life. And she will stop at nothing to achieve that, even if she have to wait for that woman to give birth to her child. To her it didn’t matter, she can always get rid of the little bastard after he is born.

Zhou Xi went to her kitchen, about to make herself a cup of coffee when she heard a knock on her door. Thinking it was He Jia, she walked back to the living room and opened the door.

"Are you Zhou Xi?"

Shen Yi stood frozen when she heard that very familiar voice. Standing still looking at the person she has missed ever since she switched body made her feel like she was dreaming. It’s not possible this was her, why would her mother be standing in front of her if this was not a dream.

Shen Mua used her hand to cover her mouth as she looked at the woman standing in front of her. It’s been years since she has been looking for her daughter, only for her to receive a call from their private investigator a week ago saying that he has found her. The tears just flowed from her tears as she said "I know my request may sound strange to you but can I hugged you?"

Without even thinking of what she was doing, Zhou Xi just nodded her head and when she felt that familiar embrace, she burst into tears.

After hugging for a few seconds, Shen Yi realized that something was wrong. Why was her mother here and why was she hugging her? Could it be her mum knows the truth, that she is the real Shen Yi and not that imposter?

With that thought in mind, Shen Yi separated herself from Shen Mua and asked "Does this mean you finally know the truth?"

With tears falling from her eyes, Shen Mua said "Yes, I finally know the truth."

Shen Yi smiled and said "That means you know who I really am, you know that woman is an imposter and she has been deceiving you all."

Shen Mua wiped her tears and looked at her daughter confusingly as she asked "Who are you referring to as an imposter?"

Shen Yi frowned and asked "What do you mean? I thought you knew the truth?"

Shen Mua smiled and held her hands as she said "Of course I finally know the truth. I have finally found my long lost daughter, who would have thought that she is the movie star Zhou Xi."

"What?" She knew she was adopted. The Shen family has never hidden that fact from her but how was this possible, the body she entered was the body of the Shen family real daughter.

As she looked at the smile in Shen Mua face, an idea came into an mind. Perhaps, this was her chance to enter into Li Lingyun life. Why does she have to listen to that Shaman and wait till that woman gives birth. If she enters into the Shen family then she will be able to have Li Lingyun, this just shows that even the heaven is helping her out.

Shen Yi smiled and thought to herself that this was an opportunity she will not allow to go to waste. She hugged Shen Mua and asked in a pitiful voice "Are you really my mother?"

Shen Mua hugged her daughter tightly and said "Yes, yes, I am your mother and this time I won’t lose you. Your mum will be here to protect you from anyone or anything."

"Really?" Shen Yi asked with a smile.

"Really."
