As Scarlet played the guitar and sung the song, ’your song,’ for Justin, one after the other the gods who wanted to bless Justin stepped up. To everyone else, it looked like Justin was just looking at his mother and smiling. But in reality, he had been hypnotized by Lythia as she revealed a part of her essence to him.

She touched his head and said, "The darkness will never bring you harm but all your enemies shall spill blood within it’s confines."

"Oh great now she is turning him into a ninja." Chaos said.

Next was Carnelia who was eager. "I bless you with the gift of eternal warmth. You will never know cold for the rest of your life."

She humphed and looked at the others arrogantly, beat that, her eyes said.

"Me next," the goddess of love literally threw Tridon back so that she could get het turn.

She squatted down and kissed Justin on the forehead lightly. "I bless you with love’s kiss. Everywhere you go, you will be adored."

"Ouuh, I got a good one." The god of chaos rubbed his hands and looked mischievously at Scarlet.

"No," she shouted loudly in her mind. It caused her to miss a whole line and miss a key.

"Why not?" he asked.

"Because, you are chaos, what blessing can you possibly grant the little human?" Tridon asked him.

He shoved him aside and flicked his finger. One drop of water hit Justin’s forehead like a bullet and vanished into his body.

"I bless you with the drop of sea affinity. Every creature that dwells in the seas will be your friend. Every storm will avoid you and the water shall embrace you like a mother’s womb."

He turned to the others and made a mic drop signal. ’Beat this, his eyes said as well.

Before chaos could try again, the goddess of happiness swooped in and hugged Justin. "I bless you with the hug of merriment. Your life will be filled with joy little one."

A blast of wind suddenly passed by the other deities and the god of deceit hugged Justin from the back.

"Noooooo...." Scarlet yelled and she put the guitar fell out of her hands.

She was in a hurry to grab Justin before that damn deity would say something. She was about to yell his name when time froze.

"Let’s not create any excess trouble today or I will be mad, okay, very mad." the old deity stepped forward and looked at the other gods. He liberated Justin from the forced hug and held him up. "I bless you with the gift of a painless death and a soul made of steel."

The old deity had a spot for Justin because he had seen all the little one endured at the hands of his real mother. More importantly, now that he suspected Esong to be a part of Nyx, it was possible that Justin was a human child who maybe was born from a reaper and a human. Maybe in future, he would be a strong soul and a possible grim reaper.

He put Justin down and time unfroze.

"Aah, he just had to win." Tridon mumbled.

"I can’t stand him!! I really can’t stand him." Ethes said.

Of all the blessings to be given so far, the old deity’s blessing was the strongest in their opinion. Death, was often painful for humans. A painless death was a great gift.

The god of deceit lost the smirk on his face and said through gritted teeth, "I bless him with the ability to know truth from lies."

As unwilling as he was to give Justin a good blessing, he was more wary of the three lunatics of the underworld paying a visit to him. Not to forget making an enemy of a the entire underworld and their reapers. What would he do if they refused to reap from his worlds?

"And I bless him with a grounded life." The god of chaos added.

Scarlet had finished one song and she moved on to another because they were not done.

"Oh goodie, now me." Ethes stepped up.

"Oh no...." the goddess of love groaned.

The god of deceit looked at Scarlet expectantly, waiting for her to shout no as she did when he went near the child.

Scarlet shrugged, she had no beef with Ethes.

"Seriously!!, him!!" the god of deceit said in disbelief.

Once more, Scarlet simply shrugged. "It is what it is." she answered.

"I bless you with.....hmmm...let’s see, will a harem of wives do?"

"No," Scarlet answered.

"Hmmm....then the sexual prowess of a lion."

"Yes," the god of chaos said.

"No," Scarlet said, "He should grow up to be normal not a man controlled by lust and desire."

The god of chaos faked a yawn and yelled, "Boring."

"Shut up." Scarlet told him.

Outraged, he scowled at her with displeasure on his face. "I am a god." he said loudly. His loud shout was like the blasting of a canon and the chandeliers in the castle trembled.

"You hit me with a chicken bone." Scarlet answered.

"Oh right, that was so funny. You should have seen the look on your face" he said.

The silly god suddenly started laughing, heaving as well as if he had just heard the funniest joke in the world. He swept his hand through the air and replayed the scene of her being hit on the back of her head with that chicken bone.

"He really is quite idiotic." Lythia said.

The others sighed and a few vanished, leaving the Blue star and returning to their realms. The party for them, was over, for now.

"I bless him with desirability." Ethes blurted out.

He could see that he had lost the attention of everyone so he blurted out what was next on his mind. He left as well, the party was over for now.

"See you in the underworld Scarlet." Lythia told her and she teleported away.

"Thanks for the party and the snacks. We really needed to let loose. Don’t take long before throwing another one dear." Carnelia said and she teleported away too.

"Tridon out." he copied her signature goodbye and the peace sign which she made when closing her broadcasts. He did it deliberately too because he smirked before vanishing in a mist.

All the remaining gods left, including Darcus who left behind the gushing wine fountain as promised.

There was a very notable change in the air suddenly. It was as if everything had calmed down and whatever fuel the world had been running on, it had run out of. Outside, the waterfall disappeared and those who were surfing on it’s waves fell into the lake which remained behind.

The undead army, mermaids, shadows, music and all that the deities had brought along with them left suddenly just as it had all arrived.

"Finally, some peace and quiet" Esong said loudly.

Four grim reapers turned their heads in the direction of the mecha king. One question was prominent in all of their minds. Had he been aware of the presence of the deities or was he relieved because it truly was suddenly quiet?
