"When I throw this out, swim as quickly as possible towards the castle ruins." she told the hounds.

After saying this, she raised her hand and tossed a red ball in the direction of the sea serpents.

Blue light was produced from the ball and a hissing sound accompanied the light. The sea serpents were trapped in a field of electric shock.

"Thank you Carolyn for your shock ball." Scarlet thought.

She also considered thanking herself because she had added a small green flame as she was tossing the shock ball out.

As the three escaped, Scarlet felt a wave of energy entering her body. It was being transferred from the sea serpents to her.

She thought they had made it easily when they reached the barrier around the castle but suddenly, a force threw them back. She was barely touched because of her bead of protection but Severus and Flan were sent flying away.

Swiftly, she drew her soul binding rope, and caught both hounds by the paws before they could sent back to the shores of the ocean.

"Are you okay?" she asked them.

Both hounds nodded and she turned her attention to the barrier.

"Get in the soul gourd." she told them.

Her mind was working overtime as she thought about solutions to her current challenge.

She planned to fight this blast with a blast of her own.

She had done it before when Black Dalia trapped her in her misty cage, she could do it quite easily again.

Scarlet gathered energy in her hands, forming a big whitish green ball and she aimed it with all her strength at the invisible barrier which was keeping her from the castle ruins.
