Chapter 353: The knowledgeable Justin

After the introductions were made fully, they were escorted to their suite and before admiring the view, she threw herself down on the anti-gravity bed the minute she laid eyes on it.

Severus did the same thing, and so did the two cats. On the large bouncy bed, Scarlet spread her arms and legs out, making angel wings as her body soaked in the delightful feeling which was like tiny little vibrating massagers moving all over her body.

Suddenly, the bed sprung up and floated a few feet in the air before settling back down on the floor after Esong touched something. This mesmerized her and the animals.

"Oooh, this is great, Esong, this is so so great." she said in a soft voice. Then she sat up, looked at him and asked, "Why don’t we have a bed like this at home?"

"Because you said that you wanted a traditional bed." he reminded her. "Also, this bed costs half a million star coins, it’s not very common to find such beds in most households."

Hotels like these invested a lot in the comfort of their customer to ensure that the guests were seduced and were sure to return and spend thousands of star coins per night.

She nodded like a squirrel munching on a sweet nut as she listened to his explanation and she made up her mind. What traditional bed? She wanted this one, as the governor she deserved to sleep in the best bed.

"Where did they buy this bed Esong? I want this bed, I could happily die in this bed." She rubbed her face on the bed and groaned.

"For a woman who knows that she cannot die, that is quite the declaration." Severus said.

Scarlet giggled like a maniac, "That’s why I can say it with all the carefreeness in the world. I am immortal bitch!!" she screamed in his mind.

She was pulled off the bed by Esong who said, "Okay, you behavior is disturbing, you need a time out and you need to leave the bed before you decide to marry it."

He carried her and Justin in his arms out of the suite and the pets followed them. They waited for one of the elevators which would be taking them elsewhere.

"Mommy star." Justin pointed out.

He was referring to the stars which illuminated the hallway leading up to their suite. It was just stars, another hologram of revolving planets was added into the slide, showing all of the planets closest to the Sun star empire. For a few seconds, she wondered if her earth that she lived on would be among them.

"Yes, very pretty star." she replied absentmindedly.

"This one is Planet Czraal, I know it mommy, teacher Imma taught us." he further informed her braggartly.

He was pointing to a planet with three rings around it, all brown except for the middle one which was grey. She wondered if she should laugh because Justin was more knowledgeable than she was about the other worlds.

"And this one is Ephoria." he said in a small voice.

Ephoria, the planet he pointed to was completely black, with no trace of light or color.

"Mommy, I don’t see Xeno." he said in a confused voice.

"That’s because Xeno is not near our empire, it’s very far from us and these are only planets which are the closest to us and also members of the federation of allied planets." Esong took on this question, answering Justin and saving Scarlet.

"Ooh, mommy look, planet Freed." he said in an excited voice. "It’s the most beautiful planet ever." he declared.

The planet he mentioned was round, just like the colors but shimmering stars of all colors surrounded it, truly making it a thing of wonder for she had seen a planet like that before.

"Beautiful indeed." she answered softly.

They entered the elevator and Justin’s small face frowned and his neck craned as he attempted to take one last peek at the beautiful planets.

"You will see them again on every floor son, and the nature channel." Esong told him.

Justin tilted his small head as he thought about things and then he said with a frown, "But we don’t have the nature channel at home."

"Then I will bring the nature channel to our home, you know how powerful your father is, I can do anything in the world." Esong declared boldly and determinedly.

Justin giggled and twisted his body around seeking a more comfortable position, like his mother’s soft and warm laps or chest.

"Settle down." Esong told him.

He had yet to put mother and son down, carrying them both as if they were lighter than air and ignoring curious gazes and smiles from strangers in other elevators who could see into theirs.

"I think you should put me down, people are staring." she suggested. Her mother had gone into the long conversation about etiquette for this very reason perhaps. The people here could be quite judgmental and disapproving.

Unbothered, Esong continued stayed still and when the elevator doors opened, he moved as if the curious eyes did not exist. "They are staring because they are jealous while others are amused."

After he said it, she recalled the few smiles and giggles hotel staff had expressed when they passed by. In fact she had been so obsessed with feeling embarrassed by him carrying her that she paid no mind to the movement of the elevator. It had gone down three floors and then moved horizontally.

"Where are we going?" she asked him.

"For a short meeting with a few business men and women who want to meet you. I thought that you would want to get this out of the way and then your relaxation can begin." he told her.

Immediately following those words, he put her and Justin down, ensuring that they carefully stood on their feet. With one hand on her back and another holding Justin’s left hand, he led them into a conference room. She knew what it was because the letters on the door boldly spelled out what it was.

She was grateful that she had dressed appropriately for this meeting as it would accomplish one of her goals of soliciting business for the Blue star.

What she expected was a small number of people, no more than thirty individuals. What she saw however was a bigger number than she expected, a room full of people. There were close to three of four hundred individuals in the room, dressed in cloaks, armors, dresses, some with their helmets on, tapped into the virtual world and rather than sitting around, they stood in groups and pairs.

"This is more than I expected." she whispered to him.

’I spread the word." he whispered. "If we can get half of them then that will be enough investments, start ups and business branches for the Blue star for at least two years. I figure two years is all we need to be self sufficient, after that they will be the ones coming to us and not us coming to them."

She squeezed his hand and gave him a thorough and appreciative look for thinking so far ahead. "Let’s mingle."
