Chapter 313: Who angered the sis con

"Contact your superior officer right now." Esong told her.

Amara’s face got all twisted, resembling that of someone who had stepped in shit. Scarlet smirked proudly, resisting the urge to laugh in her face as she wondered what the woman thought was going to happen.

In her mind, the beat to the song ’Can’t touch this,’ became loud, and she resisted the urge to say those words to Amara.

But, for Amara to be chased away from the blue star permanently, her actions had to be much bigger than simply trespassing on the governor’s residence. And to stop her from spinning a sob story that would people sympathizing with her, she had to be seen as the villain she truly was.

Scarlet smiled and she looked up at Esong and said, "Don’t frighten her too much. Perhaps we should first hear her out and know why she is here."

She went on to reach her hand out and touch Amara’s shoulder. Looking deep into her eyes, she asked the woman, "Why are you truly here?"

Esong was confused as to why his wife suddenly had a change in attitude and approached the situation gently, in a manner completely opposite to what she had expressed before.

And then, it became weirder when Amara’s face morphed, all the fear she had was gone and she ripped Scarlet’s hand away from her shoulder.

"I am here to see Adler, how is it any of your business? Move out of my way you bitch." She shoved Scarlet and the bicycle stumbled and it tilted, heading downwards, to the the ground.

The people gasped, the guards run to save her and Esong used his mental strength to break the fall.

Still, Scarlet resisted Esong’s power and she fell to the ground, and loudly screamed.

Such a small fall should not caused such a loud scream, and what was even more perplexing but ignored in the moment, were the deep scratches on her hands which were bleeding red.

"Oh No!!" someone gasped.

"The governor is hurt." another said.

"What has that wicked woman done?" someone else asked.

"I am calling the RGB." someone said.

It was like nobody had noticed that the ground where she fell was smooth and these scratches should not be on her hands in the first place.

Esong meanwhile hurried to pick Scarlet up and tend to her wounds. He poured water on her hands, cleaning them to assess how deep the scratches went.

"She is trying to run into the castle, someone stop her." a woman screamed.

The guards noticed Amara running in the direction of the nearest entrance into the castle and they rushed to tackle her and pull her back forcefully.

From the direction of the main entrance, Adler came running quickly and pushed Esong to the side.

"What happened?" he asked her.

"Who called you?" she asked him.

"Is that what’s important right now? I was told that you are hurt so I came as quickly as possible." he answered.

Adler, turned to Esong who was holding a bottle of wound sealing fluid. "How could you let her get hurt?" he shouted in anger. His eyes looked at the drops of blood on the ground and he felt pained.

"Maybe you should have done a better job of keeping that crazy thing away from the castle. For crying out loud, what’s her frigging obsession with you?" Esong replied.

He too, pushed Adler aside and went on to treat the wounds on Scarlet’s hands. He even blew air on them as he had seen her do for Justin many times after his training sessions with Lora.

The loud scream of a woman drew the attention of Esong and Scarlet, and they looked in the direction of the screams. Their eyes were met by the sight of Adler with a tight grip on Amara’s hair.

"Sir, minister, please don’t handle the situation with violence." one of the guards said.

"Yes,"

"The captain of the RGB is on his way." another said.

In the small crowd, some people were of a similar opinion but others were not.

"Beat her, she dared to harm our governor."

"Don’t save her, guards, let her face the consequences of her actions."

"What is your brother doing?" Esong was alarmed and he rushed over to separate Adler’s clenched hand from Amara’s hair.

In the struggle, the RGB arrived, with captain Zorl himself taking the lead. His face was red and his jaw clenched, and it could not be denied that he was angry.

A few details of what was happening in the castle had already been shared by the spectators who called the RGB. He was aware that one of their officers had trespassed, faked an investigation and also harmed the governor physically.

Of all places to embarrass their organization, how could it possibly be here and in the presence of Esong Wu.

Captain Zorl did not want to make excuses or listen to explanations, all of that could be done back at the station. What he did was handcuff Amara and exit the castle with her.

A short video of Adler pulling Amara away from the castle guards quickly spread. When one of Elroy’s friends saw it and showed it to him. all Elroy said was, "If my brother has gone to the extent of physically touching a woman in anger, then it must be because someone made the man with a sister complex mad."

Something had happened to Scarlet, that was the only plausible explanation.

With Amara gone, Scarlet and Esong returned to the castle and peace was returned to the castle grounds. But Esong’s plan not to give the citizens something to talk about at the dinner table failed spectacularly. Not only would they talk but they would talk with relish and even exaggerate the extent to which Scarlet was harmed. The story had been distorted in many ways that it went from she was shoved off her bike, to she was slapped off the bike, punched off the bike, kicked off the bike or thrown off and she flew ten feet up high in the air.

As for Adler, they claimed that he almost ripped off Amara’s head from her shoulders. Some people even claimed that when his hands were finally removed from her head, he had taken all of her hair with him.

The story went so far as to reach the green star and the Leopold family very quickly. What worried them was what sort of punishment Esong Wu would decide for Amara if she stayed on the blue star.

Many tongues wagged with many opinions but one thing was certain as a result of all this drama, Amara would not be able to ever step foot on the blue star because she assaulted it’s governor.
