"Fuck this drawing!" I threw the paper on the floor with a dark glare levelled at it. I gritted my teeth and leaned on my chair with my eyes closed, pissed at the teachers for separating my Strawberry and me. I wanted to ask for a change, but that seductive Strawberry asked me to endure it since it’s just thirty minutes away from each other.

Thirty freaking minutes away from him seems like years. Damn years!

"You are getting too attached to your Straw—"

"Brys!" I growled at him with one eye open.

"Okay, Brys." He pursed his lips, looking like one who was trying to reason with a child. "You need not have your panties in a twist, Storm. It’s almost over."

"Over? It has been twenty fucking minutes since I last saw him! Don’t tell me it’s almost over! I feel like ripping out the guts of those freaking teachers."

"Is that Storm? I will love to have you try," the damned new Art teacher called from where she was resting under a tree.

"Fuck you," I muttered under my breath. If she heard it, she didn’t so much as bat an eye.

"Geez, he’s whipped," Theo growled while Strawberry’s friend giggled. The sound of his giggles angered me more than anything else has ever done. I turned to him with my eyes narrowed and my jaws clenched. "Keep your damned chuckles to yourself!"

"Don’t speak to him that way!" Theo growled at me. His eyes changed to a deep yellow as he tried to challenge me.

Pfft.

He shouldn’t have easily forgotten how it ended when he first challenged me.

"Storm, Theo, out of my class, this instant! There will be a punishment dri—"

I rose from my chair and stormed out of the place, pleased that I was let out.

"And Storm? Don’t think of going over to the —"

I flipped her off as I continued towards my destination. I don’t damn hell care about the teachers or what they think of me. Hell, they have categorized me among the delinquents of the school when I have done nothing wrong.

It’s not as if there will be a change of heart soon, and I’m already graduating from this hellhole of an Academy. I can’t wait to join the outside world, so I can better protect my Strawberry against my parents’ wrath.

I’m aware that it won’t be for long until they realize that I’m dating someone else Instead of Mara. I wonder about the expression that will be on their faces when they learn that I’ve marked him.

"Wait for me!" Theo called out to me.

"Go fuck yourself!" I yelled at him, not in the mood to entertain him. I needed to get to my Strawberry as fast as I could, to show him what I drew.

I stared down at my drawing book. We were asked to draw a bird, which the art teacher got, but I ended up drawing my Strawberry. When I get the chance, I will look for some colours and make the drawing more beautiful.

"You know that’s not possible, right?" He caught up with me but continued to jog along because of my fast strides.

"It is. Just stick your dick up the—"

"Jeez, Storm. I never knew you were this...."

"Bad-mouthed? Sassy? Arrogant? Bad? You need new adjectives if those are the only ones you can think of." I turned the corner and headed over to where my Strawberry is.

From a distance, I saw the students who were placed in his group.

I hurried over, eager to get to my Strawberry.

"I don’t know how we got to be friends. We seem so different from each other," Theo mumbled, still trying to keep up with me.

I frowned, "you are the one who won’t stop following me. Damn it. Find a life. Your Omega is back there. Why are you following me?"

He shrugged, "Without your Brys there, our conversations are always strained. You can’t get rid of me, man; so, get used to my awesome presence."

I smiled a bit at his words. Theo is the only friend I made that stayed with me despite my mood swings and occasional arrogance. He’s the only one who fully understands me.

I can’t trade him for another friend, but I don’t tell him this, or else his head will swell until this entire school won’t be able to contain it.

"Come on, it’s time to find my sister-in-law. He needs to know that his boyfriend is completely smitten with him." He laughed, trying to get a rise from me.

"That will be better. This way, he will learn not to be far from me," I smiled at the thought of having him on a leash, so he will be with me all the time.

Though he’s mated and marked, there are still boys who are mad at him. It will be drastic if any tries to.....

The words froze in my mind when we finally reached the place he was supposed to be. Instead of my Strawberry, I saw his drawing book on the bench.

One of the Alphas in the group turned when he saw him. "He’s not here," he said before I could ask where my Strawberry went.

"What? Where did he go to? Wasn’t he feeling fine?"

But that can’t be possible. He wouldn’t have left his book here if he returned to the dorm.

"He left with a Beta," the Alpha supplied, while the other students pretended to be engrossed in their drawings, while half listening to us.

"A Beta?" My stomach filled with dread at those two words.
