Chapter 170: Xerxes’ Worries
Chapter 170: Xerxes’ Worries
Soaring through the air of the dark forest was a peculiar creature that was made of wood and leaves. Every time it flapped its wings which were made of fresh green leaves, a calming rustling sound was created.
"Oh, he is like a child who is on his first time in an amusement park," Luis murmured. Seeing the little tree spirit moving blissfully, made him realize that adding wings is a good decision.
Luis tried hard not to look at the snake’s head or else he would only imagine a flying dildo.
Anyway, they are on their way to Woodrill Plains.
Xagrien, Luis and Xerxes are riding the broad back of Baku. Meanwhile, the little tree spirit is currently enjoying his new body by flying around the Middle Circle.
"I want to go inside," Luis blankly said to no one in particular. Especially not the hunk sitting behind him.
What he was referring to in his statement was Baku’s throat. Or Baku’s interior compartment to put it in a more decent way.
His seven subordinates, Olyn, Legland, Nicol, Rion, Rean, Ilian and of course, Ali are comfortably staying inside Baku’s wide interior compartment.
They are still under hypnosis and are paralyzed so they are still not in the right condition to mount the humongous serpentine dragon.
And since they are traveling at a speed that is comparable to a bullet train, they have no other choice but to think of a way to bring them with them.
Actually, Luis intended to make them all float using his nature’s energy but Xagrien disagreed, saying that he already experienced strain earlier when his nose bled like waterfalls.
Xagrien got a point. Therefore, he didn’t resist and went along with the brute’s suggestion.
This brings them to the current condition of his poor subordinates.
"No," Xagrien from the back responded with finality.
"Why? It’s comfortable there and it’s actually a perfect place to sleep in. Plus I think Baku wouldn’t mind if we take a short stop for a while," Luis reasoned.
Xagrien pulled Luis closer, making him feel the little dragon that’s been threatening to wreak havoc.
Luis turned wide like the full moon upon feeling the pressing rod on his buns. Suddenly, he felt a familiar tingling sensation from his core.
It doesn’t need a genius to know what he felt. This feeling was carved in every part of his body earlier, that few moments before he experienced being stabbed by a long baby-making dagger.
"Xagrien. There are other people around us. I’m telling you, you will get a beating once we reach the Woodrill Plains," although his voice was quivering, Luis tried to sound as threatening as possible.
For such an unconvincing threat, it is natural that Xagrien will not take it seriously.
"I don’t want to be beaten," he whispered to Luis, purposely teasing the folds of his sensitive ears. "But I will not sit idly if you go inside to your subordinates. I will make sure to follow you. You should know what I will do once we are inside a dark and private place right?"
Dark and private place, my ass. They practically did it everywhere and in the open most of the time!
"I will not let you go while you are angry at me."
Oh, shit. Luis could almost feel himself literally melting to Xagrien’s soft and caressing voice.
"I-I am no longer angry," at this point, the Moon Elf Lord is completely won over.
"Then the three days..." Xagrien whispered, his tan cheeks flushed with a faint color of pink.
’Arghhhhh!’ Luis felt his hair standing from roots to tips seeing this turn-on expression of his mate.
His man is so hung up on the sex!
If they are in a much ideal situation, then he would immediately pounce at Xagrien.
His backdoor is left ajar after welcoming such a big visitor, he wouldn’t mind having them once again.
"Pardon my intrusion, Moon Elf Lord."
"Xagrien. You-" Luis’ words were interrupted by another male’s voice. The one that isn’t his lover.
This is what he is talking about. There are other people around them and he is not a fan of blue balls! What more is that it is not his kink to expose his turned-on face to just anyone!
The Moon Elf Lord breathed in and out in order to calm himself down but it isn’t a quick fix for physiological reactions such as blushing.
With still a flushed face, Luis shyly turned his head to look at the standing Blizzard Dragon behind them. "What is it, Xerxes?"
Xerxes was caught off guard upon seeing the glassy languid eyes of the Moon Elf Lord so he stopped for a moment and assessed the situation.
A knowing expression registered in his eyes after his gaze landed on the possessive arms clinging to the Moon Elf Lord’s waist.
’This kid...’ Xagrien is a dragon through and through in this part.
"You don’t have to feel scandalous, Moon Elf Lord. That much is normal to anyone with dragon blood."
Of course, Luis understood fully well why this man was saying such a thing, they were caught red-handed. Guilty as charged.
"Well, thank you... Thank you for saying that." Luis deadpanned. "What do you have to say?"
Feeling that it must be a fairly long conversation, Xagrien carefully stood up while carrying the Moon Elf Lord in his arms. Then the two of them faced Xerxes and sat down.
’I felt like a child being carried by my father. Is this the karma that he got for calling Xagrien daddy multiple times?’ the moon elf lord thought while having a dead expression on his face.
Luis no longer has that surprised face when he felt that he is sitting near his man’s crotch.
Xerxes’ lips moved, trying his best to hide the teasing smile blooming on his face. He didn’t go to these two birds to be playful. Answers to his curiosity and worries were his purpose for interrupting their sweet time.
"I just have something to ask. You can opt to answer it or not if you think I am not worthy of the truth."
"Xerxes, I am not a fan of going in circles. Can you say it outright? I swear I will answer your questions truthfully. That is if your question is not too personal," Luis said.
He automatically shot down the distraction that is pressing on his buns and focused himself on Xerxes. His intuition tells him that this dragon was about to say something interesting.
"I see. Glad to hear that," The Blizzard Dragon replied. Internally, he liked how prompt the Moon Elf Lord’s response was.
All he hoped right now was the insinuations that he had was wrong.
The confidence that leaks from the bearer’s voice and the clarity of those dark green eyes were like a sense of assurance for Xerxes.
An assurance that the Moon Elf Lord hasn’t been tainted by time and this world.
However, there is a blood-curdling question that’s been bugging him.
Luis, on the other hand, felt this peculiar nervousness. As if he was dreading something nasty to happen.
Well, he isn’t sure as this feeling only stems from Xerxes’ grave expression.
"I’ve been meaning to ask, how did you get that Sigil? What did you do to get that Life bringer’s Sigil?" Xerxes’ cold blue eyes gave a penetrating gaze without any inhibition to the Moon Elf Lord. ’Just like them, did you bathe yourself with blood to get that?’
