The Moro Dragon Seal Restaurant had two levels, and the corner on the first floor was where Luo Ziling and Chen Xiaoyi were seated. Through the glass wall, the street view outside could be clearly seen. This was Chen Xiaoyi’s favorite spot, for from there, she could observe the restaurant’s incoming and outgoing patrons, as well as the street scenery outside.

Luo Ziling finally caught on and immediately turned around.

Seeing Chen Jiahai and Ding Chaohui, along with a few others, walking into the restaurant, ignoring the waitstaff’s greeting and heading directly towards them, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but smile: “Miss Chen, it seems tonight’s entertainment is going to be quite rich and varied!”

Chen Xiaoyi felt a sudden surge of anxiety at Luo Ziling calling her “Miss Chen” and the playful smile on his face as he spoke. She understood that, by what he had just said, he meant that she and Chen Jiahai had schemed together and that the siblings had joined forces to target him.

She was surprised that Luo Ziling would think this and immediately explained, “You’ve misunderstood. I haven’t talked to my brother about anything to do with you, we’re two separate people. It’s definitely Ding Chaohui who found my brother, and now they are here looking for you together.”

Luo Ziling didn’t respond, since Chen Jiahai and Ding Chaohui with their entourage had already reached them.

“Mr. Chen, long time no see,” Luo Ziling didn’t pay any more attention to Chen Xiaoyi but greeted Chen Jiahai, “We always seem to bump into each other so coincidentally. Is this fate too?”

“Luo Ziling, I hope you stop pestering my sister,” Chen Jiahai ignored Luo Ziling’s greeting and bluntly warned, “You have a whole slew of unclear relationships with many women, and yet you still entangle with my sister. Aren’t you being a bit too greedy?”

Still smiling, Luo Ziling replied, “You’re mistaken, it’s your sister who is actively pursuing me.”

“Chen Jiahai, my business is not your concern,” knowing that Luo Ziling was blaming her as well, Chen Xiaoyi felt both angry and anxious. She snapped at Chen Jiahai, “Who I want to be friends with is none of your business.”

Without waiting for Chen Jiahai to respond, she grabbed Luo Ziling’s hand and said, “Let’s go, don’t bother with them.”

Seething with rage, Chen Xiaoyi’s grip on Luo Ziling’s arm was strong, and caught off guard, Luo Ziling was pulled along by her.

Initially, Luo Ziling wanted to break free, but seeing the diners looking at them with even more surprised eyes, he eventually didn’t persist and allowed Chen Xiaoyi to pull him out of the Western restaurant.

Chen Jiahai, Ding Chaohui, and a few others also didn’t expect Chen Xiaoyi to drag Luo Ziling out of the restaurant in a fit of anger. After a moment of stunned silence, they then came to their senses.

“Luo Ziling, stop right there,” Chen Jiahai quickly caught up to Luo Ziling and Chen Xiaoyi and bellowed angrily, “With me here, you won’t get to fool around with my sister, even if she shamelessly throws herself at you. Chase any other woman you want, but you’re not touching my sister.”

“She kissed me on her own just now, do you plan to cut off my lips?” Luo Ziling stopped, turned his head to look at the approaching Chen Jiahai, and said with a mocking face, “We were about to get a room, are you planning to stop that too?”

Both Chen Jiahai and Chen Xiaoyi were shocked and froze at Luo Ziling’s words.

Chen Xiaoyi wanted to speak up and explain, but seeing Luo Ziling’s playful expression and his refusal to even look at her, she remained silent in the end, which was as good as confirming what Luo Ziling had said.

Chen Jiahai was also stunned; he did not expect Luo Ziling to kiss Chen Xiaoyi right in front of him.

By the time he came to his senses, Luo Ziling had already released Chen Xiaoyi, looking at him with the same mocking gaze.

Chen Jiahai took a deep breath and then turned to Ding Chaohui to say, “He’s teasing your girlfriend, and you can endure that?”

There was no need for Chen Jiahai’s provocation; Ding Chaohui, already unable to contain his anger, exploded with fury upon seeing Luo Ziling holding and kissing Chen Xiaoyi in the street, with her seemingly half-hearted acceptance, “Mr. Luo, let go of Xiaoyi right now, or I won’t be polite.”

“And how will you be impolite?” Luo Ziling looked at Ding Chaohui with a smile, “Are you planning to gang up on me because you have more people? Oh, I remember now. You’re also a police officer, aren’t you planning to accuse me of assaulting an officer while you beat me up?”

Ding Chaohui, sent flying by Luo Ziling, crashed into the nearby Chen Jiahai, and the unprepared Chen Jiahai, struck squarely, tumbled to the ground with Ding Chaohui. They struggled for a while before getting up, looking as disheveled as could be.
