She said that in a while, she’d invite him to a meal again so they could properly discuss the matter.

After reading Chen Xiaoyi’s message, Luo Ziling hesitated again; he really did want to know more about the issues related to his grandparents. Since Chen Xiaoyi knew something, he hoped she would share it with him.

So, he replied, “We’ll get in touch when the time comes!”

Chen Xiaoyi responded with several smiley faces and added a few kissing emojis.

Luo Ziling ignored them.

Seeing that it was still early, Luo Ziling didn’t go back to his dorm right away but instead called Yang Qingyin to ask where she was.

Over the phone, Yang Qingyin told Luo Ziling that she had gone home in the afternoon and was just preparing to return to school.

She said she would get in touch with Luo Ziling once she was back at the school.

Hearing this from Yang Qingyin, Luo Ziling had no choice but to let it be.

Right after he hung up the phone, Yang Qingye called, saying he was with Jiang Xiaojin and asking if Luo Ziling was free to come over and meet them.

After some thought, Luo Ziling didn’t refuse Yang Qingye’s request and went to meet them right away.
