Chapter 447 - 447 System talk with hubby____2

447: System talk with hubby____2 447: System talk with hubby____2 He looked at her with so much amazement in his eyes.

If he had the system she had and the dragon, he would….he stopped his thoughts from running wild because he didn’t want to imagine himself as the kind of person that could go around killing anyone that crossed him.

It also alarmed him because it seemed like with something that powerful, one could easily turn into a monster like Lai Yanfang.

Thinking of Lai Yanfang reminded him of the last conversation he had with the woman and all the vague things she said.

He sat upright and grabbed her arms then asked strongly.

“Are you in danger?

Lai Yanfang said that some people would be coming for you.” She tilted her head from side to side, “Mmmm, i don’t know.

There is definitely danger that comes from being a system host in the other world and this one.

Lai Yanfang was a member of a different group of system hosts.

They are not with the bureau and in the bureau they are known as members the dark side.

They use their systems and abilities to do evil apparently.

Their goals are wealth, power and world domination.

They are considered enemies of humanity and i am pretty sure that they are being treated as active terrorists and the system bureau must be hunting for them.

It’s too dangerous for people like that to be left around to roam freely.

It’s one of the reasons why i am joining the bureau.

I must pick a side at the end of the day.

The prosecutor general called it a war and he said no system host can stay neutral.

The dark side kills you and your family if you turn them down unless you are already affiliated with the bureau then they don’t come close to avoid risking identification.

For now, the bureau is a safe choice.”  In future, when she was strong enough, she would reconsider her membership.

“What happens to system hosts that turn down the bureau?” he asked her.

From his deductions, it was impossible for the government to simply allow someone with a system who didn’t want to work for them walk away.

If they couldn’t control you, it was likely that they would imprison you or kill you especially if there was talk of world domination.

No government would sit by comfortably and wait to be overthrown.

“I don’t know but i don’t think anybody is given the chance to say no.

It’s one of those you are with us or against us situations.” she sighed.

For her, it was inevitable to sign with the bureau since she wanted information on other system hosts.

The opportunity to meet others like her was impossible to turn down.

Also, in case system hosts ever went wild and actually did overthrow governments to create a new world, she needed to be able to protect herself and her loved ones from what sounded like inevitable slavery to her, or maybe an apocalypse.

All this she could do if she had access to information that the bureau had.

“Hubby Zhang, be very careful from now on and especially be wary of strangers.

The bureau wants something from you, i am sure of this because the prosecutor general looked like a vulture when i mentioned bringing you into the fold.”  She warned him while clearing away all the leftover foods from the bed.

Everything went into her bag which Caishen still stared at with fascination even after all this time.

“You promised me a bag like that.” he reminded her.

She looked back and shot him a look of disapproval.

“Hubby, concentrate, you have to protect yourself first.” He got on to his knees and pulled her back.

They both fell back on the bed and he wrapped his arms around her.

“Money, the prosecutor general wants money from us.

When he met my grandfather he asked for one hundred fifty billion in investment funds for a secret project he would not name.

Grandfather refused to give such a large amount of money to the government without specifics and a heavy detailed business plan.”  ALix whistled and shook her head in dismay.

“One hundred fifty billion!

that’s a lot of money.”  “Oh and he started out at three hundred billion.” Caishen shared as he nuzzled her neck.

“Money like that doesn’t exchange hands without great benefits in return.

I guess the great benefits will be shares in whatever the government manufactures from the quota of items the system hosts provide.

Now that i know about systems, hosts and the secret world within our world, i think it’s a good investment.” One his hands snuck into her shirt and caressed her stomach.

His mind was analyzing patterns in the meantime, calculating to see if he had run into any system host or the events in the world which could not be explained.

As a man that faithfully watched world news every single day, he came up with a few events rather easily.

“Hmm, the earthquakes.” “What?” she asked.

“The earthquakes, we have all been wondering why the weather is getting more and more abnormal.

Snow in a country where it never snows, earthquakes that hit without warning, floods in a country where it’s supposed to be snowing.”  Alix turned over and looked at him.

“You think it’s someone with a system.”  He nodded.

“It’s as abnormal as your fire, it makes no sense at all.

Have you heard about anybody being able to control the weather?”  “No,” she answered with a frown.

“I have.” Her system answered.

“Blue smurf says yes.” She told him.

Then, she went ahead to explain who the blue smurf was and she even shared a picture of the blue system elf with him, sending it to his phone.

She didn’t know why but Caishen made it his lockscreen.

“Oh, that not fair, use an image of my dragon.

I am very pretty.”  She didn’t even think twice about morphing again, turning into a dragon.

Caishen was startled, again but this time, he didn’t faint.

Alix had controlled size to that of a dragon which fit perfectly in his arms.

To appear even cuter, she shrunk further to a size he could carry in his palm.

The cute azure blue dragon looked at Caishen and smiled, weirdly.

“See, i am prettier.”  He was surprised to hear it talking that he dropped it, out of shock.

It fell on the bed and glared at him.

“Ahem…sorry.”  He picked it up again and brought it closer to his face.

“This is so cool but weird.” he poked it on the head gently.

He was amazed by her dragon form, wondering how something out of a science fiction movie could be so real.

Alix puckered her dragon lips and made kissing noises.

Caishen moved his hand away and shook his head.

“Yeah…., no.

That’s just….no.”  She rolled her eyes because she had seen the man kissing Baby on the head.

What was the difference between the cat and her dragon form?

Alix leaped out of his hand and morphed back to human.

“Who is cuter, me or the blue smurf?”
