The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system -
Chapter 409 - 409 Fertility goddess
409: Fertility goddess.
409: Fertility goddess.
Later, after school ended, Alix rushed away and went to her alien shopping mall, immediately.
There was a lot to do if it was to be opened the following day.
Her mother, auntie Mo was already there and she was not alone.
All the available adult members of the Tai family who wished to help were already in place, running around and supervising the arrangements.
She walked up to auntie Mo who was pacing around while circling her fingers, shouting instructions to the group making the flower arrangements.
“No black flowers.
Who in the world is trying to annoy me by bringing such unlucky colors for the opening of my daughter’s mall?” “Sorry madam, we will return them immediately.” A man said nervously.
His voice was a little shaky and so were his hands.
Because he was trembling, he dropped the medium sized vase which was holding the black flowers.
Auntie Mo groaned angrily, and put her hands on her waist, watching the apologetic man with eyes that were practically shooting lasers.
“Mommy.” Alix slid behind auntie Mo and wrapped her hands around her waist.
For a brief moment, she closed her eyes and smelled the vanilla chocolate scented oil which she was now using, a product of Alix’s.
The scent was like one long whiff of energy which resurrected her cells and gave her strength.
“Mommy, mommy, mommy.” She called out three times in a childish voice.
Auntie Mo smiled and put her own hands over Alix’s around her lower stomach.
“My pretty baby, what are you doing here?” “I have a lot of work to do mom.
Everything needs to be ready for tomorrow’s grand opening.
I can’t just leave all the work to you.” “Aren’t you tired from running around all day?” Auntie Mo loosened Alix’s hands from her waist and she turned around.
She had a soft smile on her face and the scowl she had been maintaining while instructing the workers was gone.
Now, she was nothing more than a mother looking at her child.
“I heard from Jin Kang that you met your brother’s girlfriend today.” She chuckled and shook her head.
“That unfilial son, how could he not bring her to me first after making me wait all these years?” “Because i am his favorite sister.” Alix bragged.
Auntie Mo pinched her cheek and reminded her, “You are his only only sister.” “That’s why.” Alix replied.
“What do you think of her?” Auntie Mo asked.
Of course, Alix had thought long and hard about what she would say when the question was asked.
She didn’t think she would have to answer it this soon of course but thanks to Jin Kang’s big mouth, the situation was inevitable.
“She is pretty, cheerful, cute, perky, sweet, adorable and short.” Alix described her as best as she could.
“She also talks a lot which makes her the opposite of brother Ho Sun who is the silent brooding type.
She is also young….” Alix stopped and giggled.
“Brother almost robbed the cradle.” Auntie Mo raised her brows.
“She is twenty four mom, like nine or ten years younger than him.
But, it’s not inappropriate.
She is a wonderful match for him and i hope their relationship will be as successful as my business.” She wiggled her eyebrows and chucked while auntie Mo pinched her cheek again.
“You cheeky girl.” she said.
“I do my best to put a smile on your face as always.” she replied.
“What is it that needs doing around here?
I have come to help because i am the CEO.” She smiled brightly and puffed her chest upwards.
“CEO Tai Alix.” Like a child, she pointed her right had thumb to her chest and declared.
“Tch, look at you with your nose in the air, filled with pride.
Tone it down and wait for the opening.” Auntie Mo told her.
Then, she looked around at the different shops in which products were still being stocked at this very moment.
The entire mall had been emptied, and the former shop tenants had been compensated.
The only other shops which were left were either related to the Tai’s and Zhang’s or Holea.
Holea was opening a branch of her cafe in the mall.
She was also in the mall currently, with Jin Kang, Jenny and everyone that worked for Alix.
Even the vice principal of the school and some teachers had volunteered to help.
When it came to employees, some of the students from the music school had asked for part time jobs to help pay for tuition.
“Excuse us please.” A heavy male voice said from next to them.
They stepped aside and delivery men carrying children’s toys and alien arcade games walked by carefully.
“How did you import this many things?” Auntie Mo asked her.
“Expensively.
Owning a factory in the North pole sounded like fun but the transportation costs are enormous.” She replied.
All the things in here were the ones the gaming system could acquire at its level.
Because it was a gaming system, most of these things were toys or low tech products that would cause some buzz but not enough for the police to come and lock down her mall asking her to prove where they had come from.
“How much have you invested?” Auntie Mo asked.
“Around three hundred million.” she answered.
After answering, she sighed because her account was almost in the red.
Basically, she had run out of money and she barely had enough to cover her in the fourth world.
In fact, every day that the fourth world was not opened was a relief for her because it was another day to find funds.
She was still waiting for that billion or more from the sale of the land with rare earth minerals.
Auntie Mo put one of her arms through Alix’s and she said, “I have a rich daughter.” They were interrupted again, before Alix could brag or respond with a smart comment.
This time, it was the voice of a woman, a familiar voice.
“Aiya, if it is isn’t our great fertility goddess teacher Alix.” Alix was suddenly hugged from the side by the woman who stepped away briefly from her three companions.
“Madam Qian, what brings you here?
We are not yet open for business.” Auntie Mo responded first.
Alix pulled her head back and looked at madam Qian who was glowing.
Her stomach was showing a little bit, not too much but not too little.
It was just enough to show people that she was pregnant.
“I brought business for teacher Alix.” Madam Qian replied and winked.
She turned to the side and looked at the three women she had come with.
They were nicely dressed, holding branded bags and shoes with expensive jewels to match.
They were the kind of clients Alix liked best when it came to the business of the rabbits foot.
“Madam Qian, i have missed you so much.” She opened her free arm wide and invited the woman in for another hug.
“Why don’t we go and talk somewhere private?” Madam Qian judged from Alix’s smile that the deal would go through and she nodded at her companions.
“What business is this?” Auntie Mo asked Alix.
She leaned her head down and whispered, “Babies.”
