The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system
Chapter 347 - 347 On your knees

347: On your knees.

347: On your knees.

Alix walked over to the bed calmly, on the opposite side from Jing Hee.

She faked the look of tenderness and appeared to be giving in to the emotional plea that Billi had just made.

She even removed one of her gloves and gently stroked Billi’s sister.

This was a thing she had done many times before in their childhood.

Her action made Billi feel smug on the inside.

She tried to hide the smirk which was forming on her lips but failed.

She expected Alix to surrender now and give them what they wanted.

But the only thing that happened was pain, a great deal of it.

Alix suddenly grabbed Billi’s hair with incredible strength and pulled her head back.

A few strings of hair broke from the roots, causing Billi to scream loudly from all the pain she was experiencing.

“You and your mother never learn and you don’t listen well.” Alix told her.

Her eyes did not leave Jing Hee while she punished Billi.

As soon as Jing Hee raised a hand to dislodge Alix’s hand from Billi’s head, Alix swung her free hand and slapped her.

She did it with incredible strength but controlled it so as not to break her jaw as she had done to others.

Jing Hee put her hand on her red bruised cheek.

Tears were running down her eyes because the pain of the slap was intense.

Her legs were trembling and so was the rest of the body.

She wanted to help Billi but she was afraid of what Alix would do next.

“I am not old stupid Alix anymore.

Why can’t you just do as i instruct?” she said in a soft voice.

It may have been soft but it carried a frightening undertone beneath.

It was enough to make Jing Hee frightened for her daughter whose head was yet to be let go of.

Alix was a lunatic, and she would end up ripping Billi’s head off at this rate.

“I am sorry.” Jing Hee squealed out.

“On your knees.” Alix replied.

She looked at Jing Hee with coldness in her eyes.

Her face was devoid of any emotion, no happiness or gloating over the power she held over them.

She was like a demon or something else that Jing Hee couldn’t describe.

All she knew was that she was frightened.

But still, she was a woman that had faced many adversaries in the battles to become Lin Qianfan’s wife.

She would not fall onto her knees for someone like Alix.

Alix moved her hand from Billi’s hair and placed it at her neck.

She didn’t press down but it didn’t mean that she couldn’t do it if she wanted.

Her cold eyes were still on Jing Hee while she said, “A beggar should always talk on their knees, that’s what you taught me.

So get on your fruiting knees before i break your kneecaps permanently.”  Bi Cang moved but Alix shook her head and stopped him.

“She needs to do it on her own.

Then and only then, can i offer my help at no fee.”  “Mother,” Billi croaked out.

Tears were slipping down her eyes as fright overwhelmed her.

Her hands were useless so she couldn’t fight back.

“Mother, kneel.”  Jing Hee wilted as if she had lost all her strength and she fell to her knees.

She may have despised Alix but she couldn’t bear to hear Billi begging, suffering or crying.

She was filled with regret for inviting Alix over to help them.

It was a mistake, a grave one.

Alix smiled, finally.

She removed her hand from Billi’s throat and stepped away from the bed.

“If you had simply listened to me and not attempted to manipulate me, none of the pain would have come.

Anyway, let’s get to it.”  She pulled out one of the chairs and dragged it close to Jing Hee and she sat down with her legs crossed.

She was like a lord, looking down on a common servant that she had power over.

“Well, this position brings back memories.

You or Billi sitting like this while i knelt down and groveled for scraps like a mutt.

Did you know that your fat housekeeper sometimes sat in your chair and pretended to be you?

She would make me scrub her feet too just as you guys used to.

What’s funny is that she used to compare me to Cinderella.

If only she had realized that she was foreshadowing.” Jing Hee gritted her teeth and asked, “So, is this revenge?”  Alix scoffed.

“If this was my revenge, you would all be six feet under.

You should count yourselves lucky that i have more humanity in me than the two of you combined.”  She held her hand up and Bi Cang handed her a file.

Alix opened it and held a pen out to Jing Hee.

“You are going to sign over all the shares you own in Lin power holdings and i, in return will give you medicine to treat Billi’s arms.”  Jing Hee shook her head.

“I will do no such thing.”  “I have just recorded your words right now.

You have not denied owning shares in the company which you acquired illegally through shady means.

I can only imagine what Lin Qianfan will do to you if he finds out.”  Jing Hee’s face paled.

“You and your daughter are already skating on thin ice in that house.

If she is useless, she is going to be abandoned and thrown out just like i was.

Besides, now that he knows he can father male children, Lin Qianfan has no more use for you as his wife.

Billi is the only precious thing you have in your life.

She is your safety net.

The longer she stays like this, the more at risk you both are.

You should choose right now between having a crippled daughter or owning a piece of Lin power holdings.

It’s not as if the shares you have make you a major share holder in anyway.

If you are saving them to help Billi, forget it.

Lin Qianfan would rather die now than make her his heir.” Even after all that Alix said, Jing Hee held her head up stiffly and refused to sign the papers.

Alix was not interested in trading words.

If these two were not ready to make a deal, she had no time to waste on them.

They could search the ends of the earth if they wanted and they would not find a cure for Billi’s condition.

They would be back when cruel world had given them a few lessons.

Ding!

“Host, your penalty is over and thanks to your destruction of the troops on the land, the barrier has been removed.

The count down to the final battle has started.

You have forty eight hours until its time to face the bad general in a battle at sea.”  Alix stood up.

Time was up, the visit today was fruitless.

Bi Cang approached them suddenly and he pressed down on Jing Hee’s shoulder.

He used strength mercilessly, almost breaking her shoulder.

His actions surprised Alix who was all about punishing Jing Hee and Billi slowly.

Jing Hee cried out and slapped Bi Cang’s hand but it wouldn’t move.

It was as strong as a tree trunk.

Her little slaps were useless like an egg smashing against a rock.

“Sign it when the young madam is asking nicely.

If the young master steps in, we won’t be so nice.”
