The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband -
Chapter 261: Kill or be killed
Chapter 261: Kill or be killed
Cedric finished off the ghoul at a remarkable speed. It was expected after all he could get rid of a wanderer effortlessly. No one was stunned and they were amazed at the first prince’s strength.
They said only the crown prince could measure up to him as Lucian had achieved great feet yesterday. Whispers went wrong at how powerful the Von Drakkar family was but not everyone was pleasantly surprised. Horror was written on some faces as they saw the reminder of how strong Cedric was.
They did not dare cheer him, they were allies of the queen and Lucian and recognized him as the obstacle he was. Cedric’s tales were not rumours.
These were all within Cedric’s expectations but he wasn’t expecting Abrielle to have the same look as them. Dread was on her face, she could not mask the look on her face.
The officiator approached the prince, handing over a rose to him. He accepted it, the prickling sensation of the rose snapping him from his daze.
Abrielle was impressed at Cedric’s performance; she expected the match to be nothing to him and, without any reservations, wanted to celebrate his victory.
It was her duty to rejoice with him. The princess raised her hand to clap when a blue screen appeared in front of her. The words on it made her go pale immediately.
She was too stunned, and Abrielle was unable to hide her shock. Her lips quivering. She didn’t understand why now of all times. It was like a slap of reality but a wake-up call.

THE HOST STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO SURVIVE IF SHE CAN ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING TASKS BEFORE THE END OF THE SPRING FESTIVAL ELIMINATE THE SIDE CHARACTER GAINING MORE POPULARITY THAN EXPECTED

OPTION ONE: KILL ALFONSO VON DRAKKAR. HIS CHARACTER DERAY FROM THE ORIGINAL PLOT OF BEING IN AN AFFAIR WITH THE COUNTESS HENCE HIS FATE CHANGES AFFECTING THE PLOT DEVELOPMENT
OPTION TWO: AVOID THE QUEEN EXECUTION PLOT TO END THE HOST LIFE WITHOUT INVOLVING ANY OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS OR THE HOST’S FAMILY
OPTION THREE: KILL THE FIRST PRINCE
THE HOST HAS 72 HOURS TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS. THE PENALTY MIGHT BE DEATH OR WORSE.
Abrielle didn’t understand why the request suddenly popped up now and she has just 72 hours. She didn’t know Alfonso changed interest from the countess to have a strange interest in her might cost her this much trouble
How was she going to fix this? The only feasible option was to avoid the execution without any help. It felt like the system just wanted her dead from the look of things.
Her death was already knocking, and it seemed like there was no escape. Abrielle felt faint sparks on her cheeks snapping her from her lost gaze. She was drowning in her thoughts.
Blinking slowly, she realized Cedric was in front of her. The man she had to kill, she was looking worried his brows pulled together. "Is anything wrong?" He asked her, sensing her confusion and fear
Abrielle backed away from his touch, his eyes darkening at her reaction. " I am just a bit dizzy at the sight of blood. I am fine." She made up an excuse. Cedric didn’t buy it but he knew Abrielle wouldn’t tell him what it was either.
Communication was always their biggest issue. "You should take some rest," he said, his fingers brushing through his ginger hair as he pinned a rose there. He made sure to pull off his gloves to prevent any dirt from touching her hair.
"I will, thank you," Abrielle answered, her gaze unsettling. She was being disturbed; he could sense an emotion he easily recognized because he grew up being surrounded by it.
Fear, Abrielle was scared. Cedric wanted to place a peck on her forehead and whisper it was going to be alright. He was leaning forward until he froze again halfway and quickly backed away. He left.
Abrielle didn’t sense anything off because she had a bigger problem than worrying about his strange behaviour. Callista watched them from Eleanor’s side, her eyes blank with no emotion in them.
Callista rose to her feet. "Please excuse me, Your Majesty. I need to step out for a bit." She informed the queen and then exited the booth. Eleanor just waved her off, more interested in the next duel, which was Lucian’s.
Callista walked past Abrielle as she left the booth, leaving the villainess who was in peril. The arena started to roar again, and Lucian’s battle was about to start.
******
Callista’s footsteps tapping on the stone floor rang through the hallway. Her eyes scanned the doors in search of something.
A painful groan rang, and her eyes flickered with her hands clutching her dress as she ran in the direction of the groans.
She arrived at the door of one of the waiting rooms. Without any invitation, she abruptly pushed the door open, her eyes being drawn to the source of the groans.
Her heart ached, her feet moving before she could think. Sitting in a corner of the room leaning against the wall, Cedric was gasping and groaning in pain. His body was covered in sweat, and he looked very vulnerable.
Callista knelt by his side and held his hand. Cedric groaned again pressing his eyes together. "It is going to be fine," Callista said calmly. Rubbing his hands, he didn’t refuse her touch. He could not, her subtle angelic touch reduced the pain.
"It hurt more than everything I had felt before. My head is splitting."Cedric could barely say, his breath getting heavy.
"Sorry, I will try to control it but I doubt it will stop." She answered, channelling her magic to his body. Just like she always did when this happened in the past . When the voices punished Cedric for disobeying. It was his punishment for defying them for too long.
"Can’t you just stop them? They are killing me but not my body. I feel it is killing my heart."
