Kenric didn’t give any time to Annalise to think about his sudden confession as he recaptured her mouth in another passionate kiss.

A moan slipped through Annalise’s lips as she wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders. Her body had started craving for something more as the desire inside her was building with every passing second.

She felt his fingers skimming down her cheek to her throat and then over to her shoulder and stopped at the thin strip of her nightgown for a second or two before slowly pulling it down her shoulder.

Butterflies fluttered inside Annalise’s stomach as she pulled away from the kiss to get some much-needed oxygen.

Kenric removed her hands from around his shoulders and hoisted them above her head before he lowered his face to place a kiss on her forehead.

His lips trailed down kisses all over her eyes, the tip of her nose, her cheeks, jaw, and then down her throat, causing a gasp to escape her lips when she felt him nibble on her pulsing vein.

Heat seared her insides, pulsing through her veins and adding fuel to her burning desire that was no longer content with just his kisses. She wanted more!

His hand hovered dangerously over the hem of her nightgown that had inched up to her thighs at some point.

"Do you want me to stop, Annalise?" He stopped trailing kisses over her throat to ask the question, his gaze looking down at her with desire blazing in them. He wanted her... just like she wanted him, and needed him like her next breath.

As words refused to come out, she just responded with a shake of her head. She didn’t want him to stop at all.

"This was your last chance, Little Bird. I won’t be stopping now." His words carried a challenge in them and so did his eyes that seemed to be undressing her even before his hands started to move.

Annalise allowed him to pull her up into a sitting position before he slipped the robe down her shoulders, leaving her only in the silky sleeveless chemise that left little to the imagination.

He placed a kiss on her lips before kissing a path down to her throat and then to her cleavage.

Her body burned with passion and desire, eliciting soft moans from her lips as she arched her back and rolled her head back to allow him more space.

Her breathing quickened when she felt him drawing the fabric of her chemise aside with his teeth to reveal her left nipple which was standing erect for his attention.

His tongue swept over it in a feathery touch, eliciting a shaky moan from her in response. Her nails dug into his shoulders as she felt her body drowning in the pool of desire.

"More," she begged.

"More what, Little Bird?" Kenric questioned even though he knew pretty well what she wanted.

"Kenric, please..." The plea left Annalise’s lips as she writhed beneath him in need.

He didn’t stretch the matter further and just rewarded her with what she wanted. His mouth returned to capture her nipple as he sucked on it, causing a cry of his name to leave her lips in response.

He continued his torture of pleasure for the next few minutes before he pulled out her other breast free from her nightgown and turned his attention to it.

Annalise could hardly believe the way her body was responding to his touches. Her entire body was vibrating with desire under him. She found her hands making their way under his tunic as she felt the urge to touch him the same way he was touching her.

A groan left Kenric’s lips when she placed her palms over his bare lower back but he didn’t say anything and continued to nibble on her nipple. Getting bolder, she drew one of her palms upward and brushed it all over his spine and shoulder blades.

Her attention was pulled back to him when he once again captured her mouth in a deep passionate kiss that lasted for a couple of minutes. When he finally pulled away, they were both gasping for air.

He trailed his tongue over her pulsing vein before nibbling on it with his teeth, causing her to arch her back as she bit down on her lower lip to stop the moans that were spilling through her mouth non-stop.

His mouth trailed down her cleavage to both her nipples as he played with them with his tongue for a while but then continued with his journey till his mouth was placed against her bare thigh as his hand had raised the hem of her nightgown to her mid-thighs.

His mouth trailed a sweet line of kisses up his inner thigh and made its way to her drenched core that was screaming for his attention and he didn’t disappoint as his tongue came out to play with her little bud.

Electricity shot through her entire body as the volcano of pleasure building inside her threatened to burst.
