With the end of the battle, it was not only the dark energy that left their world and returned to the Primordial Realm, but the long season of winter also came to an end.

Over the past two weeks, most of the ice had melted away as the Spring was arriving. The chilly days were turning sunny and warm. The dead trees were returning to life and the same was going on in the three realms.

The seelies were back in the Seelie Realm to rebuild their lives. The Mer clan also returned to the Seelie Realm as it had been their real home before its downfall.

The Midnight Realm, which suffered the least amount of disaster during the war, had already finished rebuilding and settling down and was now helping the other realms.

The King of the Seelie Empire had decided to merge their cities into the Mortal Realm and after mutual understanding, it was decided that it still would have its own King and ruling governance.

As for the dragon shifters, they decided to stay in the Sky Kingdom.

Since the end of the war, things were finally turning out for the best. Everything was returning to its previous state. Even though there were some casualties in the war, everyone was still showing enthusiasm and joy toward the thought of building a better future.

After ten thousand years, the sky throughout the three realms looked as clear as in the past. Nature was thriving and magical elements were blooming with power.

Among all this positivity, a special day arrived in the Seelie Realm. It was a beautiful day in early spring. Under the azure sky, a beautiful ceremony was going to unfold - the coronation ceremony of the new Queen of Seelie Realm.

The air buzzed with the harmonious convergence of seven magical elements, infusing the atmosphere with a vibrant energy. The three realms were filled with joy at the news and were looking forward to meeting the new Queen.

The venue, adorned with ethereal blossoms and shimmering crystals, served as a breathtaking backdrop for the momentous occasion. Almost all the citizens of the Seelie Realm, dressed in resplendent attires, were gathered there to witness the crowning of their new ruler. Joy radiated from every face as the realm itself seemed to rejoice in the coronation.

At the heart of the ceremony stood Annalise, a vision of regal grace, adorned in a gown woven with threads of starlight and petals from the realm’s most exotic flowers. Valerius, Damien, and Kenric stood by her side, their presence a testament to the unity of their bond.

"This is so nerve-wracking." Annalise couldn’t keep herself from murmuring the words as she watched her mother-in-law walking up the steps to stand on the stone platform to address the crowd.

The Midnight Queen exuded an aura of mystique, her dark attire contrasting the vibrant surroundings. Every step she took was filled with power and elegance. She was the perfect person to crown the next Seelie Queen.

But her mother-in-law wasn’t the only familiar face Annalise had seen among the guests. The Mer Queen, adorned with shimmering scales and draped in ocean hues, was also there along with the Summer King and the Dawn Queen. The Mortal King, attired in noble garments, was talking with his son, Elijah - the Crown Prince. The Dragon King was also present there with his daughter and wives.

Her parents were also there to join her in such a big moment of her life, supporting her just like they had throughout her life.

Her friends were also present - Leela, Ezra, Marley with his family. Pristine and the Light Guardians were also there along with the Guardian Beasts.

Last but definitely not least, she was greeted by some very special people who had been beside her during the toughest time of her life - Aunt Claire, Sera, Mr. Warren, Garron, Freya, and the other servants of the Cursed Castle.

A sweet melody of chimes pulled everyone’s attention toward the Midnight Queen. The crowd fell into silence as the Queen started speaking. "Today is a day of joy for us. We are not only celebrating our victory against evil, but we are also celebrating the freedom of the Seelie Realm. The Seelies have finally returned to their homeland and today, we all are gathered here to welcome the new Seelie Queen."

Cheers and claps erupted from the crowd as everyone showed their enthusiasm and joy.

"Let the ceremony begin."

With the announcement, a sweet melody started playing and a group of mermaids moved to the center of the stage to perform. Annalise walked up the steps and moved to stand in front of the Midnight Queen. Chants were heard, elements danced, and flower petals blew around as the Midnight Queen placed the crown over Annalise’s head.

All seven elements circled Annalise, celebrating her coronation along with everyone. As she ascended to the throne, the air seemed to hold its breath, and then erupted into a symphony of cheers and applause. The Seelie citizens, their joy palpable, embraced the dawn of a new era under their benevolent queen.

Her husbands were also there to support her and accompany her in the joyous moment. She was surrounded by their love and warmth, along with the belief of the Seelies in her. The war wasn’t the end of her responsibilities, it was actually the beginning.

Yet, among all the joy and support, Annalise couldn’t help but feel the absence of that one person who had turned out to be a very important friend she made during her journey through the past one year - Esmeray.

The King of Darkness had not been seen ever since the day of the war. After announcing that he was the soulmate of Annalise’s unborn child, he had disappeared like the darkness he ruled. She had tried finding him for several days but to no avail.

Looking at the far horizon as the celebration continued, Annalise just hoped that Esmeray would return sooner or later.
