Chapter 394: Final Ceremony

The Autumn Palace was decorated beautifully as it prepared for the soulmate bond completion ceremony between Autumn Prince Kenric and Seelie Queen Annalise.

The High Priestess of the Midnight Realm was once again present there along with the Midnight Queen, all three Princes, and the noble guests who were finally witnessing the sacred competition ceremony of one of their Princes.

The setup of the ceremony hall was similar to the ones before. The High Priestess took her place in front of the altar. This time there was a ring of all seven elements instead of just five - air, water, fire, earth, shadow, light, and darkness. It surrounded the altar and the combined powers of the elements fueled the energy that resided in the hall.

Kenric stood next to Annalise, facing the High Priestess. Valerius and Damien were also standing not too far away, their presence filled Annalise with warmth and love.

Kenric was wearing red and golden robes. The colors brought the best out of his features. Annalise was also adorned in a beautiful red and golden gown, paired with golden jewelry. The two of them looked perfect together.

The High Priestess took out the fire crystal and sent it into the air where it hovered over their heads, Kenric and Annalise’s. She closed her eyes and spread her arms, her lips moving as she started chanting the ancient spell.

Kenric took hold of Annalise’s hand, his fingers squeezing hers as he felt his soul reaching out to her, feeling her excitement as she finally got to experience the ceremony. Their powers linked together and their souls met in the sacred chamber of Fire element.

The beautiful colors of season of fall were seen all around. Annalise and Kenric stood under an ancient maple tree, facing each other with their eyes brimming with joy.

"Little Bird..." Kenric took hold of her hands in his, feeling emotional as he finally made it to the day when he was going to complete his bond with his lovely mate. He pulled her closer and stared right into her eyes, trying his best to hold himself back from kissing her already.

"Why are you so nervous?" Annalise asked while smiling at how cute the Autumn Prince looked at that moment.

Kenric was about to respond when they heard the High Priestess announcement.

The very next moment, two red threads appeared on their palms while the High Priestess started chanting a new spell. He took hold of the thread in his palm and merged it with Annalise’s moon thread before helping her to do the same with the one in her hand which she merged with his moon thread.

The next thing to appear was a huge crystal that was filled with the essence of the five elements that ruled the Midnight Realm. He placed Annalise’s palm over the top of the crystal before covering her hand with his own.

"It’s time for vows. Are you ready?" He asked and watched as she nodded her head in affirmative.

"Have been ready for a while." She whispered the words and watched as a smile spread on Kenric’s lips.

The High Priestess started the vows and Annalise followed - "I, Annalise, the Queen of the Seelies, accept the power that binds me to Kenric, the heir of the autumn, for eternity. I accept him at the rising of the moon and the setting of the stars. To love and to honor, to cherish and respect, through all of the eras and times that may fall before us, until our souls do us part. I give unto him my trust, my grace, my purity and accept his in return. My power belongs to him now just as his is now mine. And I shall never forsake him for another, my soul forever belonging to him. To the stars may we never part."

She finished the vows, binding the third and final part of her soul to him just like the two other parts were already bound to his brothers. The vows properly bound them together as not only husband and wife for eternity but true soulmates who would stick together through all the ups and downs that their lives would throw at them.

"I, Kenric, the heir of the autumn and third prince of the Midnight Realm, accept the power that binds me to Annalise, my wife and the Queen of the Seelies. I accept her at the rising of the moon and the setting of the stars. To love and to honor, to cherish and respect, through all of the eras and times that may fall before us, until our souls do us part. I give unto her my trust, my love, my fire and accept hers in return. My power belongs to her now just as hers is now mine. And I shall never forsake her for another, my soul forever belonging to her. To the stars may we never part."

Kenric repeated his vows after Annalise was finished with hers and felt his soul finally responding to the vows. Their moon threads glowed bright red with elements surrounded them as a magical golden thread connected both of them before it entered their hands and spread across their bodies and headed straight to their hearts, creating the purest form of soulmate bond.

With a final chant, the High Priestess announced the completion of their bond and the ceremony. The ceremony hall erupted with cheers as Kenric and Annalise returned to join everyone else in the real world.

This time, Kenric didn’t hold himself back as he pulled Annalise into his arms as sealed her lips in a deep and passionate kiss. Their newly completed bond overflowed with their love and care for each other.

When they finally parted a few moments later, the Midnight Queen was there to congratulate them. Valerius and Damien also joined them as they all headed toward the banquet hall.

The four of them were starting a new journey along with their unborn child. A journey that would test them in new ways but they were prepared for whatever challenges they would need to face with their new identities.

In the soft glow of the setting sun, laughter filled the air as friends and family gathered. A gentle breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers, and the warmth of shared joy reflected in the smiles of those present. Against a backdrop of vibrant colors, Annalise stood surrounded by her husbands, their expressions radiating their love for her.

The scene unfolded like a perfect harmony, leaving a lingering sense of fulfillment and happiness.
