Chapter 253: Sparkles in Water (Part Two)

"Where do you think you are going?" Kenric whispered right next to her ear, his warm breath fanning her earlobe, sending very familiar sparks running across her ear.

"Kenric..." She tried to wriggle out of his hold but she was stupid to think that she could be a match to him when it came to their physical strength. She was someone who had been constantly getting beaten up in her combat training classes even while doing something as simple as just attending herself from Damien’s attacks and the man had been going really easy on her.

"Yes, Little Bird?" Kenric asked while tightening his hold on her, he seemed to have no intention of allowing her any freedom at the moment. "Why are you suddenly being so shy?" He asked while tilting his face to the side in order to take a look at her face and he genuinely seemed surprised as he asked that.

"I..." Annalise opened her mouth to speak but then closed it as she had no answer to give him. Even she was not aware why she was suddenly feeling so shy about something she had been confidently dealing with for the past two months. "I don’t know." She finally muttered the truth.

She had her head lowered and her eyes fixed on the floor, that was probably why she didn’t notice Valerius moving toward her until he was standing right in front of her with his hand taking hold of her chin to make her face him.

Her eyes met with his beautiful ice-blue ones and she almost felt her entire body shivering at their intensity. Though there was still a month or so left before the arrival of winter, she could still see the long snow-covered fields in his eyes.

"Come and join me for a bath." The first Dark Lord suddenly told her as if he had completely ignored the exchange between Kenric and her.

Annalise watched in surprise as Valerius gave her a warm smile, completely opposite to the energy his eyes held in them, before he turned around and headed toward the pool. What happened next made it impossible for her to look away even if she would have tried her very best.

She watched as one by one, Valerius’ clothes started slipping down his body, and by the time he put his first foot inside the pool, he was completely naked with his long silver hair falling to his waist and his milky white skin shining in the bright light on the Moonstones.

She felt Kenric finally pulling his hands away from her waist but not before he planted a sweet kiss on her cheek and gave her a wink. "I’m waiting for you too. Don’t make us wait for too long." And just like that, he too was heading toward the pool with his bare body in full glory.

Annalise had to take several long and deep breaths to calm down her racing heart, she almost felt like her heart was ready to jump out of her chest considering how wildly it was beating. She quickly spared a look at the gate of the pool room before turning back to look at her husbands who were already settled in the pool and seemed to be waiting for her.

She knew pretty well what it was that Valerius was doing, he was testing her. It was not a request, nor a demand that he just made about her joining him in the pool, instead, he gave her an option and now it was up to her to make her choice and handle the consequences.

She could choose to join them in the pool and successfully beat the old shy and unconfident Annalise that was suddenly trying to take over her current confident self, or... she could choose to leave the pool room and allow her inconsistent side to win.

A deep sigh escaped her lips as she found herself coming to her final decision almost instantly. Her hands moved to untie her robe before she allowed it to slip past her shoulders before it pooled on the floor around her feet.

Next, she took off her dress and her undergarments before she headed toward the pool. She was aware of the marks that were decorating her collarbone and one of her breasts and took her quite some effort not to hide them with her hair. She was not going to return to her previous shy self that even she couldn’t stand at this point. She was happier in her current self, a confident, cheerful, and strong Annalise who knew what decision she had to make in order to be happy in life.

"I knew that you won’t keep me waiting for long. That’s exactly why I love you so much, Little Bird." Kenric chirped happily as he offered her one of his hands that she accepted with a bright smile of her own.

Since she had already made her decision, she was already past her previous shy self and was back to her confident self who knew what she really wanted and considering her current situation where she was naked in the pool with two of her husbands, she was sure that things would turn hot really soon.

Just the thought of being with two of her husbands at the very same time filled her body with a sweet sensation that made her bite down on her lower lip to keep herself from moaning out loud.

"Come on, wife. Let’s not steal my job now." Kenric whispered in a low hoarse voice as he moved closer to her, almost pinning her against the wall of the pool while Valerius was sitting not too far from the two of them with his attention fixed on the two of them.

"What?" Annalise asked in confusion as she wasn’t sure what he was talking about all of a sudden. But her confusion lasted for only a couple of moments as Kenric answered almost immediately. His thumb grazed her lower lip as he pulled it out from under her teeth and then...
