Chapter 248: Trust and a Letter
Chapter 248: Trust and a Letter
Annalise woke up with two pairs of muscular arms wrapped around her as she was sandwiched between Damien and Kenric. Her breasts were pressed against Damien’s hard bare chest while Kenric was spooning her from behind.
Her flimsy night gown was barely doing its job as she almost felt naked at that moment. Her entire body was burning because of the sweet fire stirring inside her.
Her eyes wandered around her surrounding as she tried to make the minimal of movements in order to not disturb her husbands who were in deep sleep, or at least that was what she believed until she felt a soft kiss being placed right behind her ear.
"How about you sleep some more? I’m too comfortable right now to let go of you anytime soon." Kenric whispered into her ear before he buried his face into the crook of her shoulder, his lips brushing right over her pulsing vein and causing her to inhale sharply as shivers ran down her spine and made her arch against him almost unconsciously.
Damien stirred slowly before he returned to his sleep, his face pushing deeper against her shoulder all the while his hold on her waist tightened. What she didn’t expect was to suddenly feel his lips moving against her skin right before his voice entered her ears - "Kenric’s right, you should rest for a little bit longer."
Annalise found herself smiling as she found both her husbands being overly clingy as they tightened their holds around her and completely refused to let her go. "But I’m not feeling sleepy anymore." She told them while pretending to sit up on the bed which proved impossible as both the men refused to loose their holds on her.
"Then how about pretending? For us?" Kenric suggested as he placed another kiss on her shoulder before he snuggled his face in her hair and inhaled her scent which made him groan softly but didn’t change his mind of just sleeping with her for a while longer.
Annalise was completely lost at that point as she couldn’t make herself refuse their request, especially when they were being so sweet to her with their demand. That’s how she ended up staying sandwiched between the two of them and drifted back to sleep.

"What are you planning to do?" Damien asked his brother who was finally done writing the letter that they were about to send to their mother. It was written in ancient unseelie language that only a few could understand.
Valerius sealed the letter with a quick but powerful magical spell before he finally looked up to face his brother and answered the question - "I think we should prepare to tell Annalise at least a part of real identities. We just can’t expect her to share every single detail of her life and every little or big secrets with us without thinking about how much we are hiding from her. That’s not how trust works and that’s definitely not something we should be doing to our mate."
Damien let out a sigh as he nodded his head in understanding. If it had been upto him, he would have told Annalise about his true identity the very same day he completed their bond and she was right inside his Shadow Palace. However, he didn’t want to overburden her that day and ended up taking his mother’s advise to keep his identity a secret until his wife was prepared to accept him for who he was.
"So, what are we going to do? Just drop the secret right on her?" He asked curiously and watched Valerius immediately shaking his head in the negative with a small smile decorating his lips.
"Of course, not. First, we are going to help her settle the Portal Halls thing before we will finally have a talk with her to tell her about our real identities and then... I want her to meet with mother..."
"She will love her..." Damien whispered softly as he imagined his mate finally meeting with their, the Dark Fae Princes, mother. Though he didn’t clear exactly who would love whom, it seemed like Valerius understood it pretty well as he immediately nodded his head in agreement and whispered, "She will..."
The brothers sat there in the parlor for a while longer as they discussed about certain things before Valerius finally cast a spell to start a fire in the cold fireplace and dropped the letter in it.
The two of them watched as the letter caught fire almost immediately and within a couple of seconds, it was completely gone and the only thing left behind were its ash. The fire also disappeared along with the letter and the fireplace suddenly looked just as dead and cold as it was a couple of moments ago.
Valerius peeked outside from the huge open window outlooking at the front garden and noticed that it was almost noon. "We should wake them up as they have been sleeping for a while by now."
Damien felt his soul instantly feeling delighted just at the thought of him returning to his mate’s side. He along with Valerius, headed downstairs in the basement and right inside Valerius’ bed-chamber where they found their beautiful wife still lost in the world of dreams while Kaito’s arms were wrapped around her protectively.
Her face was looking slightly puffy because of sleep, her long platinum-blue hair was spread across the pillow, her cheeks carried light blush on them and her full red lips were parted slightly as she slept without any care in the world.
The nightgown she was wearing barely covered her upper body properly. Her arms were bare as the sleeves were very short and the v-neckline was showing a lot of her collarbone at the moment.
Damien made his way to the bed and climbed on it to settle down next to his wife. A smile bloomed on his lips as he lightly grazed his fingers across her temple while whispering, "Wake up, Princess."
