Chapter 249: Wind and Candles** (Part One)

The dark brown velvet curtains fluttered as a gust of wind entered the room and almost blew off the candles that were filling the dark room with some light.

A silhouette was sleeping on the huge couch with a peaceful expression on her beautiful face. An old book could be seen resting in her arms, which she seemed to be reading before falling asleep. But other than the sleeping beauty, there was another person present there in the room who had arrived along with the sudden wind.

He remained standing in the shadows while watching the sleeping woman for a long while. It was not until he noticed her stirring in her sleep, did he decided to step toward her.

Annalise only returned to consciousness for a mere second or two as she felt slightly cold, but just as she was about to drift back to her dreams, she felt a warm breath tickling her neck before a hard body pressed against her back. She immediately recognized the familiar scent of shadows and cinders, and one of her shared bonds with her husbands immediately flared to full life.

A small sigh of comfort left her lips before she allowed herself to sink into the beautiful moment, needing her husband’s warmth to feel relaxed and positive.

Damien’s lips traced along the column of her neck, his fangs grazing on all the right sensitive spots and lingering on the hollow of her neck and shoulder. Annalise also found herself arching her neck to the side to give him enough space to continue with his little tease.

One of his hands snaked around her waist before making its way directly toward her chest, and it cupped one of her breasts, causing Annalise to arch her back and press herself into him. His fingers softly massaged her breast for a couple of seconds before his skillful fingers started kneading her nipples.

Annalise felt an incredibly good feeling taking over her as his mouth and hand worked together on two very different parts of her body while making her feel pleasure blossoming in the very core deep inside her.

She unconsciously wiggled her hips and immediately realized that she was pressing into his hardness which made it clear just how aroused the second dark lord was at that moment; she was not the only one feeling like she was going crazy because of the desire building inside her.

"Good. Then let’s get you out of these clothes." His next words were accompanied by a simple spell of his shadow that left her completely naked in his arms as her clothes vanished along with the spell.

One moment, his hands and body were separated from her because of her dress, and the very next moment, she felt her bare back pressed against him while his hands were resting right against her erect nipple and smooth stomach.

"Perfect!" Damien whispered as he placed several more kisses down her temple to her cheek and then all over her jawline before his lips found their way back to the side of her neck. At the very same time, his fingers showed no mercy to her nipple as they rolled it, pinched, and pulled it to create as many sensations as they could.

His other hand started tracing down her stomach with his fingers spreading wide and running over her smooth belly. It passed her belly button before moving closer and closer to the apex between her thighs.

Anticipation buzzed throughout Annalise’s entire body as she even forgot to breathe and just waited to see, or more like to feel, his hand in the exact place that was yearning for it so badly at the moment.

A cry of pure pleasure escaped her mouth as his fingers hit her spot with perfect pressure while he kept building up the heat inside her, making her desire burn like a never-quenchable fire.
