Because Liam toiled too much, He woke up later than Jane, only to realize that the side of her bed was empty and as he tried spreading his hands over the bed, he realized that her side was cold, signifying that she had woken up early enough.

"Why is she so slippery?"

Liam casually asked himself as he realized that maybe she was trying to avoid him due to what happened last night, and he sighed for a minute before he picked himself up and started preparing for the day.

He went to the bathroom and started doing his business and when he came back he found that the bed had been neatly made and his clothes for the day had been perfectly aligned, from the suit, the shirt, the inner wear, the cufflinks, the tie perfectly made and each and everything, the shoes were Polished, and the man couldn’t help but smile.

"Yes, she was mad at him, but she still cared about him..."

Even the colongne was placed on top of his clothes perfectly, telling him that he didn’t have to move around the room looking for anything Because he just had to pick them from the bed and dress himself.

The man therefore carefully put on his suit as he made sure that everything was in place before he left his room, only to hear the giggles of the twins downstairs and the smell of an enriching breakfast making him smile as his stomachs grumbled.

Looking at the harmonious scene before him, Liam just smiled as he headed towards her, rubbed his hands around her waist as he pulled her in, kissing her cheeks casually as he greeted her.

"Good morning, my love."

"Good morning."

Normally she would turn to look at him and kiss him back with a smile, but this time round she just gave him a curt and short reply, making the man sigh inwardly because he realized that she was still mad at him.

"Are you still mad at me?"

"Who said I was mad?"

"But you..."

"That is what you chose, and that is what you decided. Who am I to go against your commands? So no."

"Breakfast is ready."

The two had a short conversation that literally proved to Liam that she was more than mad at him, but she was just trying to stay rational and reasonable, making the man feel a pang in his heart because maybe he was suppressing her. Maybe he was hurting her....

"Baby I..."

"Oh my sweethearts. You just learned to say breakfast time!! You also want breakfast? Okay.... mama will give you in a minute."

Liam had started speaking when he stopped speaking as he realized that she had long stopped paying attention to him as She went to the twins, making him slightly cough as he felt slightly embarrassed. His wife has never treated him this way!!

It’s like she didn’t care anymore. I mean, she didn’t bother fighting with him and that is what scared him because he wanted to hear her thoughts. He wanted to hear her rumble around the house about the same issue.

But the man had long forgotten that the last time she spoken out her mind, he immediately said no to her. And even when she tried convincing him, he still said no to her.

He therefore casually sat on the dining table as he took his breakfast, noting carefully that his wife was not even eating, but feeding their kids in return, making him want to make her equally eat, but she realized she didn’t know how he was going to start it out of put it out and he therefore withheld the words as he shut his mouth, as he occupied himself with the beautiful breakfast that had been prepared by her.

He completed his meal in silence and after putting his utensils in the dishwasher, he came back to find his wife wiping and cleaning their twins faces clean after they were done eating and he thought for a minute before he went for his work briefcase, came back to his wife and kissed each one of them sweetly, wishing them a good day and the three just nodded to him, wishing him back a good day even though the twins were incoherent from time to time, but he actually felt good.

"I think I will go now."

"Sure, have a good day."

Liam felt awkward because he was hinting to her that he wanted her to actually see him off as she usually does and maybe check on his style.

He had purposefully made sure that his tie was a little bit crooked, different from how she had made it so as to get a reaction from her, but he realized that she had seen the tie but did not bother with it, making him sigh in a bothered manner as he just walked out of the house, not forgetting to wish them a good day once again, one that was just curtly and shortly replied to before it was immediately swallowed by the loud giggles belonging to the boys.

Daniel looked at his boss, looking so absent minded, and wanted to ask what had happened but he feared that he might be interrupting on his boss’s issues.

"Dan."

"Yes, boss."

"My wife is mad at me because I refused for her to appear in public on the day of our twins birthday."

"I just said no because I wanted her to rest more. Why is she mad at me?"

Dan looked at his president and couldn’t help but feel like this man has become dense of late because how could he not see the intention behind Jane’s words?

Even he, someone who just got to know about the whole situation, could really tell the reason as to why Jane reacted the way she reacted and according to him she very much, was valid to feel that way and Liam should be happy that she had not taken her anger to the next level.

"Boss. Forgive me if I might come off rude but madam’s anger is well...valid."

"hmm.....well, how so?"

Liam immediately got comfortable as he waited for the reason Dan had as he immediately fixed his eyes on the mirror as he observed his assistant who was busy driving them to work.

"Well. Fill me in."

"Eer.....president..... Of late, most of the young heiresses have been actively and openly pursuing you, even after you say that you still love Madame. But of course they are using the fact that she is in a coma to convince you that you deserve yet another woman. And naturally, Madam will feel jealous and threatened. Liam immediately smacked himself when he realized that he had overlooked a very important factor and for the first time, he felt like his IQ was really dense and low.

"And also, President, she might be mad at you because she felt like maybe you loved the attention that you get from various women out there and that’s why you do not want her to appear because you don’t know want them to know that she has woken up...."

The more he heard Dan, the more Liam frowned because he realized how much he had wronged his wife. And from a man’s perspective, if his woman was in the same situation that he has been going through, then he is guaranteed that he would have already blown up. It’s already a miracle that Jane didn’t go off on him. Instead, she calmly handled the situation.

"Damn it, I’m so stupid. I am so stupid!"

"Do you think if I apologize to her and take back my words she will forgive me or will she feel relaxed or less threatened?"

Liam carefully asked Dan, who by now had been turned to a therapist, but the man definitely took up the role because he felt like his president was really dense and he needed enough guidance as much as possible.

"Yes, I believe she will forgive you. After all, Madam is a very sensible woman."

"Then should we Align the anniversary together with the twins birthday and her reappearance, or just scrap off the anniversary and focus on the other two?"

Liam once again asked, making Daniel feel the dilemma because he didn’t want to comment further on his boss’s private matters or private plans, and he therefore left that for him to decide by himself as he carefully dodged the question.

"But President, I think you it’s better if you discuss it with Madame after all...."

"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You’re right. You’re very much right..."

"So I have to get off work early today so that I can go buy some gifts to appease her as I head back home to apologize. Perfect. Of course, I should also cook dinner today."

Daniel quietly listened to his boss, who had by now already zoned out as he was thinking on how he was going to appease his woman. And the more he heard his boss’s mutters, the more he felt like laughing out loud because he didn’t know there is a day he would always see his cold and strong boss to the outside world chickening because he had annoyed his wife! Well....Love sure is something else.
