On the other hand, as Liam was visibly contemplating on how he was going to appease his wife, Jane on the other hand, had to call her best friend to complain about how her husband has restricted her, making her laugh on the other end because she could understand very much, understand where Jane was coming from.

They decided that they were going to host it at Jane and Liam’s house, and therefore Jane immediately started purchasing items online and as she purchased throughout the day, she realized that some of them were being shipped on the same day and she couldn’t help but be excited as she looked at the packages that had just been delivered.

The twins were so unproblematic during the day and at the moment they were resting and therefore, since it was around 4, Jane was seated on the floor in the garden as she was busy trying to figure out how she was going to open or fix or put in place all the things that she was holding in her hand, because apparently she despised using a manual.

She wanted to fix the bouncing castle early enough, but she had a feeling that this bouncing castle was going to be used by her instead.

Throughout the day, Liam was not able to concentrate with his work because his mind kept going back to how his wife had treated him and how mad he was at her, and therefore when the clock rang 4:00 PM, the man immediately dashed out of the office, making Daniel laugh because Love is really something else.

He had already received the bouquet of flowers and he had passed by the supermarket to purchase some ingredients for what he intended to make for the night, and the moment the man got home, he thought that maybe he would spot his wife right away but oh, bless his delusional heart, because no one came out.

Liam wore a stiff and defeated look as he got into the house, only to realize that the house was very, very much quiet, signifying that the twins and all, even his wife were asleep.

He removed his shoes, wore his furry slippers as he immediately headed towards the twins room and once he realized that the babies were peacefully asleep, he went towards the master bedroom only to find out that it was empty.

"Hmm... where is she? The house is extremely quiet."

He was speaking when he stood by the master bedroom window and realized that his wife was in the garden, looking as if she was planning something with her ipad on her hands alongside her pen as she seemed to be noting something, making him stand still as he carefully observed her.

She was in a sunny, beautiful sun dress, making him smile to himself as he realized how beautiful his wife was growing. Looking at her beautiful body and looking at her beautiful and content smile as she was busy planning made him feel good.

Wait, what was she planning for?

Liam wanted to rush down, but before he could even take a step, the woman who seemed to be busy on her iPad immediately turned and faced their master bedroom window, and the moment she saw him, Liam saw how the smile on her face immediately dropped as she casually nodded at him.

Jane had felt a burning gaze on her and the moment she turned, she realized that her husband had come back, and she just casually nodded at him as if telling him welcome.

Liam was not happy with how her smile dropped when she saw him. She should be smiling when she sees him, and he therefore opened their back door as he immediately took the stairs down directly to the garden, and the closer he got to her, the more he realized that from this side she looked even more beautiful as she was being sun kissed and her hair looked so, so silky and shiny.

"Hello my love."

He pulled her in for a hug as he pecked her lips, earning a simple hello back making Liam sighed once again.

"Baby, I’m sorry, okay?"

"What are you sorry for?"

"No, don’t just talk about it. Just don’t. You decided what you decided, and it is what it is. So stop apologizing. After all, you are the man of the house."

Even though she spoke casually, Liam could feel that there was some hidden mockery in her words, making him tighten his arms around her waist as he lifted her chin, making sure that she was maintaining eye contact with him.

"Oh, look at this. I just plan to hold a little session for the twins for their birthday. What do you think?"

Jane immediately and quickly diverted the topic, making Liam sigh because he felt like, yeah, her reactions were valid. Knowing himself, he would have reacted more than she did and he just turned to look at the garden as if picking up her words and digesting her words, before he immediately stopped.

"It looks beautiful... Wait. Twins birthday? Didn’t you want them to be seen before the public? Or didn’t you want to celebrate in a high profile manner? Why the garden?"

"That was before you refuted my option, but now I guess this is okay. Chairs..hmm...This will go here. Think I will dig the swing there. Hmm, that should be couple of swings...umm..."

Jane replied him back, still maintaining eye contact as she slowly got out of his hands, starting to speak on how she was going to arrange the place, making Liam a stand rooted to the ground as he put his hands in his pocket, carefully observing her. His sharp eyes not leaving her for a moment.

Jane could naturally feel his sharp eyes on her, but she chose to ignore it because she felt that the more he brought up the topic, the angrier she became because he enjoyed the attention he was receiving from the public. Now he was here apologizing for something that he said!!

Of course, Liam was sharp enough to note the subtle and even the smallest change on her expressions before she went back to normal, and he could finally confirm that yes, indeed, she was mad at him, and she was not ready to forgive him, but easily.

"We’ll be going on fitting tomorrow alongside the twins."

Liam took careful, slow step towards her when he realized that she was so very much irritated, making the man think for a moment if he did anything else that he shouldn’t. But on racking his brain, he realized that he hadn’t done anything bad today.

"Baby, I know I was irrational yesterday. And I know because of that you thought that maybe I enjoyed receiving attention from outsiders and that was really not my intention. I’m so sorry, my love. Please forgive me. You’ve been acting so cold towards me since yesterday. You haven’t even given me a kiss since yesterday. You didn’t hug me to sleep. You didn’t see me off this morning. Look at my tie. It has remained crooked for the whole day because you didn’t check on your husband this morning. I’m so sorry, baby. Forgive me."
