Everyone started going forward with their gifts with their gifts, their sole reason is to impress either of the three ladies.

The three birthday girls received their gifts with so much enthusiasm. Most of them were luxurious items, some specially customized making them smile a lot and one thing was for sure, these were not fake smiles. Despite the fact that they came from super rich families, they never had a thing for luxurious items like other rich ladies do.

For them, one could even gift them a simple set of cups and their happiness would be evident.

"Auntie! " A woman shouted as she approached mother Mo making the rest of the people focus their attention on them because they all know this is the young mistress of the Ling family and also was in the military.

She enthusiastically hugged mother Mo who politely hugged her back without showing any displesure. She liked this girl but not to a point of even wanting her as a daughter-in-law.

As she pulled away from the hug ready to present her gift, mother Mo was able to notice her dress code and frowned a little but before her frown could disappear, some observant people already noticed it and started talking.

The girl wore a one shoulder high slit dress that went upto her waist and one could see she definetly had no undergarments on!

The girl in question did not seem to mind as she was dressed for Ian and not his mother, maybe if he could see her thick thighs(BIG FAT LIE) then maybe they could spend the night and she can get pregnant for him and later on get married to him! Stupid girl!

"This is my present for you dear aunt, I know how much you love paintings and I therefore wanted to give you one from the famous painter X"

The moment she said that, gasps were immediately heard because this painter’s items were super expensive and also of the highest quality! Mother Mo herself felt her heart jolt up in surprise and excitement at the same time but some part of her was scared, fearing the painting not be original since X rarely sold his/her paintings.

Even the few that had been kept in art galleries took alot of efforts for the owners to lay their hands on them.

Rita immediately opened the wrapper carefully displaying a picture of a delicate but fierce woman seated on what looked like a throne. This woman looked like mother Mo, the woman was her in all ways.

Mother Mo took the gift excitedly as she examined it while people started talking.

"Wow! Such an good girl! That girl just spent a fortune for Mrs Mo! "

"It will be hard for her daughter in law to much up to this! "

"Right! She better pray that her gift is better than that of Miss Ling otherwise she is going to embarrass her in laws! "

"It will be very disappointing if she doesn’t match up to this because you can all see how excited and satisfied Mrs Mo!"

"Right, we all know she is a big fan of X! "

Different people were now conversing reaching Rita’s ears and the girl couldn’t be happier that she quickly searched for Mary’s eyes but the moment she met her eyes, she found the girl already looking at her having a big smirk on her face suddenly pissing her off.

’What the fuck is this bitch smirking for?’ She questioned herself but her mind tried assuring her that the girl was trying to act strong but she did not know Mary had been watching her every move and was the first one to know what she planned to gift her mother-in-law and let’s just say she planned to outdo her in her own game.

Mr and Mrs Ling looked so freaking proud seeing Mother Mo over the moon because of the gift and also because of the conversation people were having.

As much as Rita looked innocent, the rest of the big 5 including Mother Mo inwardly frowned when they heard the people’s conversation and knew this girl was upto no good, her dress code had already sold her out.

They were all worried but didn’t forget to steal glances at Mary but her reaction surprised them. The girl wore a smirk as she occasionally flipped the pen in her hand making them sigh because she did not mind their words but wait...

That was no normal smirk! It was an evil one! This alone was enough to tell the big family to relax and look for their popcorn because it was about to go down any minute from now.

Mother Mo was not a normal woman and she was therefore able to notice the look on her daughter’s face and knowing her identity as the reaper, her insides suddenly got excited knowing her daughter in law was not some weak bitch to be stepped on.

She waited patiently for her action as she masked the excitement while she continued to observe the art given. She knew that this was fake but she had to act excited because she wanted her daughter to put this conniving woman in her place. As so what she hoped for happened when a man, one known very well in the art world asked a question.

"Miss Ling, would you mind telling us how you got such a perfect piece of art?"
